Don,

Here’s something else that you’ll probably find interesting and might want to post on EW:

My parents, despite being addicted to BBC “news”, have noticed that the media hype about the alleged swine flu “pandemic” appeared only a few days after this:

“Senate implicates Bush aides in prisoner abuse” – [http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/ap](https://web.archive.org/web/20140114191716/http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/ap) … ate-report
“Bush’s willing torturers” – [http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree](https://web.archive.org/web/20140114191716/http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree) … bush-memos
“Rice gave early approval for CIA waterboarding, Senate report reveals” – [http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/ap](https://web.archive.org/web/20140114191716/http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/ap) … erboarding
“Condoleezza Rice gave nod for ‘torture’ techniques” – [http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/w](https://web.archive.org/web/20140114191716/http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/w) … 154255.ece
“Publish and be damned, Mr Cheney” – [[http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree](http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree)]
“Obama’s torture memo dilemma” – [[http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree](http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree)]

The report by the Senate Armed Services Committee, 232 pages long, can be found here, albeit heavily censored:
