When, in fact, in the 3rd Quarter of 2025, international smartphone shipments increased by 2%, year-over-year, from 316.1 million to 322.7 million (both idc’s own statistics), not by 2.6%, as fraudulently claimed by idc.com.
For those keeping score, IDC took an actual 2.0% increase and falsely inflated it by 30%, or by almost one third, to a fabricated 2.6%.
In November 2025, Xbox console sales decreased by 70%, year-over-year. The last time their sales increased was November 2021.
