Confidence Trick

A confidence trick is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their trust. Confidence tricks exploit victims using their credulity, naïveté, compassion, vanity, confidence, irresponsibility, and greed.

Researchers have defined confidence tricks as “a distinctive species of fraudulent conduct […] intending to further voluntary exchanges that are not mutually beneficial”, as they “benefit con operators (‘con men’) at the expense of their victims (the ‘marks’)”.

“Society wants to believe it can identify evil people, or bad or harmful people, but it’s not practical. There are no stereotypes.”

― Ted Bundy

Ted Bundy served on the Nelson Rockefeller (1908–1979) presidential campaign in 1968 and the successful reelection campaign of Washington governor Dan Evans. Bundy was appointed to the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Committee, and later became an assistant to Ross Davis, the chairman of the Washington State Republican Party.

THE DATA

TECHNOLOGY

Web-addicted individuals have a 65 percent higher rate of psychiatric morbidity.

Internet addicts have a 47% higher rate of suicidal thoughts within a week, a 23 percent higher rate of lifetime suicide attempts, and a 5 percent higher rate of suicides attempt within a year.

Teenagers who spend 5 hours a day on electronic devices are 71% more likely to have suicide risk factors than those with one-hour use. And It was the time spent on the device, not the content, that mattered most.

In 2002, just four years after the literal forest of “wireless communication” infrastructure sprang up virtually overnight in all the nations, neurosurgeon and researcher Dr. Leif Salford exposed over 1600 experimental animals to low level microwave radiation. His results were consistent and worrisome: microwave radiation caused the blood-brain barrier to leak.

In May 2016, Science Daily said “Leaky blood-brain barrier linked to Alzheimer’s disease.”

If Alzheimer’s disease is caused by a leaky blood brain barrier, and microwave radiation causes the blood brain barrier to leak, then the purportedly-harmless microwave radiation causes Alzheimer’s.

From 2020 to 2021, the percentage of the public who said that the technology industry was less trustworthy than average increased by 19%, from 27% to 32%.

Fang said that these four amino acids make the disease easier to transmit.

In February 2020, Dr. Charles Lieber, chair of Harvard University’s Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, was arrested by Federal Agents, along with two Chinese “Students” working as research assistants, one of whom was actually a lieutenant in the Chinese Army, the other captured at Logan Airport as he tried to catch a flight to China – smuggling 21 vials of “Sensitive Biological Samples” according to the FBI.

He was charged with lying to the Department of Defense about secret monthly payments of $50,000.00 paid by China and receipt of millions more to help set up the chemical/biological “Research” laboratory in Wuhan, China.

In the report, Edelman found that just 46% of those surveyed trusted CEOs of healthcare companies “to tell the truth about health issues and how best to protect the health of the public.” This was on par with government leaders, also 46%, with my profession coming off the worse: Only 41% trust journalists.
