Bonus.com said that the sudden, exponential decreases in online gambling taking place in 2022 regardless of culture or geography were "a normal, predictable, and healthy feature of stable online gambling markets"

Hey ho, let’s go! Hey ho, let’s go!

They’re piling in the back seat
They’re generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat

Hey ho, let’s go
Shoot 'em in the back now
What they want, I don’t know
They’re all revved up and ready to go

Gambling is decreasing exponentially regardless of culture or geography because moral and mental health vary directly with that of the subject’s etheric environment.

I’ve appended data below to document the phenomenon, along with a review of the horizontal propaganda put forth to rebut it.

THE DATA

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in Delaware decreased by 13% .

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in Connecticut decreased by 11.1% .

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in Michigan decreased by 6.9% .

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in Pennsylvania decreased by 4.1% .

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in New Jersey decreased by 3.8% .

Despite the fact that April is not in any way part of summer, bonus.com’s Alex Weldon attributed these huge decreases to “the summer slowdown”, and said that the exponential decreases in online gambling taking place regardless of culture or geography were “a normal, predictable, and healthy feature of stable online gambling markets”.

Both Alex Weldon and his employer, bonus.com are desperate to keep you from recognizing that moral and mental health vary directly with that of the subject’s etheric environment.

THE ARTICLES

In June 2022, bonus.com said “Online Gambling Revenue Figures for May Show Summer Slowdown Has Begun”.

Where author Alex Weldon postured as if the sudden, exponential decrease in online gambling revenue in 2022 was part of a normal seasonal pattern.

He threw “revenue figures” in there to give the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader the green light to say “oh, but they can make those online gambling revenue figures show anything!” or “oh, but someone must have figured that incorrectly!”

As a propagandist, Alex knows that many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

He used the word “slowdown” because it is general. He knows that, since sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, his hedging generality will go a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential speed and scope of the decrease in gambling I’m documenting here.

The article goes on to say “Of the big states, Michigan had the toughest month, with DAGGR down 6.9%. Pennsylvania and New Jersey saw smaller drops of 4.1% and 3.8%, respectively. The good news is that the downturn isn’t* a negative sign for the industry. Rather, it’s a normal, predictable, and healthy feature of stable online gambling markets.”

Where “saw smaller drops” walks it back a step from those states actually experiencing it.

And where calling sudden, exponential decreases in online gambling regardless of culture or geography a normal, predictable, and healthy feature of stable online gambling markets is an example of I have dubbed, variously, as a Satanic inversion, or “Trumpian mind-fuck”.

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in Michigan decreased by 6.9%.

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in Pennsylvania decreased by 4.1%.

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in New Jersey decreased by 3.8%.

Despite the fact that April is not in any way part of summer, bonus.com’s Alex Weldon widened his eyes to simulate honesty and attributed these huge decreases to “the summer slowdown”.

Oh, and check out what Alex buried way down in the article:

“Connecticut had the worst month among the five states to report revenue. Combined DAGGR for its two license-holders dropped 11.1%. The monthly total was $20.9 million compared to $22.8 million in April.”

There’s a strict rule in journalism, where you list the highest number or percentage first, and the rest in descending order. Here Alex brazenly disregarded it, and, in journalistic parlance “buried” the larger figure way down in the article in the hope that you’d never get to it.

From April to May 2022, online gambling revenue in Connecticut decreased by 11.1%, from $22.8 million to $20.9 million.

But, wait, it gets even better. You might not even believe this: right after Connecticut, Alex ays “Delaware Online Gambling Revenue – May 2022 - Delaware has yet to report its May online casino revenue, but we’ll update with its figures when they come in.” Then, immediately below, in the very next paragraph, we read:

“State totals and growth rates - Here’s how the six online gambling states stacked up in May…Delaware $1,098,941 (monthly change in May) -13.0%”.

Every single state shows an exponential decrease, and Alex has the balls to describe the table as “growth rates”. Say what you will about our literally-blood-drinking Illuminist friends, there’s simply no quit in them.

From April to May 2022, online gambling rates in Delaware decreased by 13%.

He also hid this in the same “growth rates” table: “West Virginia $8,507,074 -4.3%”. Well, will you look at that! Alex omitted West Virginia’s 4.3% decrease and replaced it up top with New Jersey’s smaller 3.8% decrease.

Say what you will about our literally-blood-drinking Illuminist friends, there’s simply no quit in them.

On October 6, 2022, wtop.com said “Gambling revenue slows at Maryland casinos”.

Where author Jeff Clabaugh use “gambling revenue slows” because it’s softer than “dropped” or “decreased”, but, most importantly, because it is general. He knows that, since sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, his hedging generality will go a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential speed and scope of the decrease in gambling I’m documenting here.

Jeff goes on to say “Maryland Lottery and Gaming reports the state’s six casinos generated $159.3 million in gaming revenue in September — 3.7% lower than a year earlier.”

He threw “reports” in there to give the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader the green light to say “oh, but someone at Maryland Lottery and Gaming must have reported that incorrectly!” or “oh, but that was just one report!”

As a propagandist, Jeff knows that many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In September 2022, gambling revenue in Maryland decreased by 3.7%, year-over-year.

Despite the fact that he’s getting paid to write about it for a living, Jeff Clabaugh didn’t offer any suggestion as to what had caused the sudden, exponential decrease in gambling in Maryland in September 2022. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.

He also didn’t mention that the sudden, exponential decrease in gambling in Maryland in September 2022 was part of a wider trend taking place regardless of culture or geography.

That’s an example of the propaganda technique know as “compartmentalization”.
