The cool thing is that the trip was 100% spontaneous because we planned to gift Gadsden and Birmingham once again and when we made a wrong turn and ended up in Anniston we saw all lots of nasty antennas and started gifting. Shortly thereafter we asked a utility worker about directions to Cheaha State Park (upon seeing the word ‘Cheaha’ on the sign of a bank 30 miles away from the actual place) and that was it!
That wasn’t a wrong turn – operator intervention. They NEEDED you to gift that area – happens to me all the time when I go out gifting – make me miss turns I take all the time, etc., and always bring me right passed big, UGLY death tech I didn’t know was there (hehe). Happens often enough that I’ve learned to bring extra TB’s along which I rarely if ever manage to return home with.
I don’t mind having back-seat drivers like this at all [Image Can Not Be Found]
VERY happy you took the guidance. It was obviously important that area be gifted.
This weekend we decided to make another (gifting) pass and sort of sweep the floors and seal the deal if you will and rent one of the cabins in the park. Lo and behold we found 2 additional towers and gifted them as well!
