Dropping Trust, the Collapse of the Confidence Game

Getting tighter. New format, with TextEdit chapter copy attached for subscribers. Tomas is going to be publishing my stuff somewhere out in blockchain land, more on that as it develops.

Anyone can publish my stuff anywhere they want, whenever they want, as long as they don’t chop it up or make any changes, of course.

Reading through this collection of data, it does not appear that we are far from the end of the great, ages-long confidence game that has held humanity in thrall, well, all the way back to Babylon, and before.

DROPPING TRUST - THE COLLAPSE OF THE CONFIDENCE GAME

“Confidence game. Also, confidence trick; con game – Noun - A swindle in which the victim is defrauded after his or her trust has been won. … These terms, which use confidence in the sense of “trust,” date from the mid-1800s. They also gave rise to confidence man (or con man) for the swindler.”

Look at the right hand of the figure in the center.

Now look at this painting from hundreds of years ago:

January 7, 2016 – Think you can spot a con artist? You probably just got duped.

“We misread the signs of the con because we’re predisposed to trust, because society runs on trust.”

“Why you fool, it’s the educated reader who CAN be gulled. All our difficulty comes with the others. When did you meet a workman who believes the papers? He takes it for granted that they’re all propaganda and skips the leading articles. He buys his paper for the football results and the little paragraphs about girls falling out of windows and corpses found in Mayfair flats. He is our problem. We have to recondition him. But the educated public, the people who read the high-brow weeklies, don’t need reconditioning. They’re all right already. They’ll believe anything.”

From “That Hideous Strength”, by C.S. Lewis, 1945

We all accept that actors on stage and screen work on their craft, and develop their characters, yet somehow many or most in our culture have complete incredulity that “Bad Actors”, politicians and intelligence personnel get paid to do the same. As I’ve mentioned many times, highly-intelligent Trump-haters I’ve met refuse to even consider that he reads a Teleprompter.

Somehow, over generations, the con artists in charge have socially engineered the populace to not believe in the existence of con artists. But I think that may finally be changing.

A current Television commercial for Spectrum Mobile is entitled ‘No Flimflam

Ad ID: 2984575 30s 2020 ( Active )

After breezing into her office with a bag clearly holding a brand new phone, her coworkers can’t help but inquire about her latest device. She happily relays the fact that she switched over to Spectrum Mobile, which she claims is faster overall and more reliable – much to the disbelief of her fellow office workers, who dismissed it as “jibber jabber,” “flap doodle,” and “hog wash.” However, the woman insists that there is indeed “no flimflam” concerning Spectrum’s title, and they really are just faster and more reliable.

I read an article title on youtube the other day that said “Ronald Reagan’s son, Ron said there are grifters in the White House.”

It’s been generations since wholly-credulous rubes have admitted that there are, in fact members of the populace known as con artists who make their living thereby. Thus, it’s a terrifying loss of territory for the flimflam artists in charge to be pushed into having have a grifter-President’s son call another grifter President a grifter.

Remember, when cons collapse, they do so in a rush, like a house of cards.

In September 2009, the UK’s Express said “Brits ‘losing faith’ in climate change scientists”.

They threw “scientists” on the end in the hope of saying “oh, but those were just a few bad apples” and rolling in a new team at a later date. It’s what is known in the military as fighting a losing rearguard action.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

In February 2010, the Financial Times said “Public losing faith in science”.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

In November 2011, Grist said “Consumers losing faith in Big Food”.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

In 2012, the public’s approval of Congress reached an all-time low of 9% in the U.S.

Distrust in health technology increased 600% in the three years from 2014 to 2017.

Voter turnout in New York was at a record low in 2013.

In November 2013, janethull.com said “Losing Faith In Science – Let’s Kick Corporate Science To The Curb”.

Can you see how Janet softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith? She’s picked out the bad apple of “Corporate” science to try to keep the game alive for the core academic Establishment that is the generational Satanist-controlled Church of mean-spirited Western materialism.

In April 2013, the UK’s Guardian said “Crisis for Europe as trust hits record low”. The subhead reads “Poll in European Union’s six biggest countries finds Euroscepticism is soaring amid bailouts and spending cuts”.

“Soaring” is brave positive spin from a failing sociopath, still grinning at you with their whitened teeth as their organization is exposed.

The subhead begins with “Poll” to give your subconscious the green light to say “oh, but that’s just one poll!” The propagandist knows that the subconconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

The article continues: “The poll found a vertiginous decline in trust in the EU in countries that were traditionally pro-European. Public confidence in the European Union has fallen to historically low levels in the six biggest EU countries, raising fundamental questions about its democratic legitimacy more than three years into the union’s worst ever crisis, new data shows. Public confidence in the European Union fell to the lowest level on record in 2013.”

Where the author used the lurid but general “vertiginous decline” in place of the stronger “drop” or “decrease”, as spin, and also to echo the word “recline”. And where “fell” was used because it’s softer than “dropped” or “decreased”, and also as a thinly-veiled reference to the fallen Lord Lucifer.

What the author hyperbolically calls “CRISIS for Europe” is in fact the rapidly increasing awareness of Europeans that the Fox is in the Henhouse, that the fix is in from the top. That there is, yes, wait for it, Some Big Conspiracy. The lowest public confidence on record in Europe means the end of the confidence game.

Voter turnout in the U.S. in 2014 was the lowest since WWII.

In 2014, Millennials had historically low levels of trust in Government.

In June 2014, NPR said the U.S. was “losing tech trust overseas”, “a year after Snowden”. Can you see how they softened tech trust that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?Edward Snowdon is a Controlled-Opposition Mouthpiece.

image image

Snowden pretends to be a truth-teller, but publishes a version of the truth that does not in actuality harm the Establishment he purports to be fighting in any way that is actually effective. That’s how Controlled-Opposition works.

And here’s Snowden’s hot girlfriend subtly signaling her support of the Texas Longhorns football team with her left hand.

Actually, I’m kidding. She’s a generational Satanist, like her boyfriend. They’re followers of the Left-hand path.

Somehow they figure the rubes will never notice the “secret” hand signs.

The number of “trusted brands” dropped 12.5% from 2015 to 2018.

In 2015, the state of Washington set its lowest mark ever for voter turnout in an off-year election.

In 2015, Hillary Clinton was the most establishment-approved candidate on record.

image

In this undated photo, Hillary openly signals her support of the Texas Longhorns football team, says she wants to “rock on”, or tells her constituents that she loves them in American Sign Language. Actually, those are the plausible-deniability excuses put forward to cover up the fact that she and her genetically-related crime family of generational Satanists have controlled things in all the nations, well, all the way back to Babylon, and before.

Plausible-deniability excuses are used because the subconscious of many or most will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In ancient Egypt, their god was known as “Set”. That’s where we get the word “Satan”. Same bloodline on the thrones of all the nations, then to now.

In February 2015, KevinMD used conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty by asking “Why don’t some parents believe the safety of vaccines***?***”

In February 2015, huffpost.com accurately stated “Anti-Vaccination Advocates Often Don’t Trust The Government, Study”.

Where the author put “Study” at the end of the headline to give your subconscious the green light to say “oh, but that’s just one study!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In March 2015, knowing that the bottom was falling out of the vaccine confidence game, PBS said “Dr. Robert W. Sears: Why Partial Vaccinations May Be an Answer”.

Voter turnout in New Jersey’s November 2015 election was the lowest in the state’s history, going back to 1924.

Americans trust in mass media dropped to its lowest level on record in 2016.

Australian trust in politicians dropped to the lowest level on record in 2016.

Australian voter turnout dropped to the lowest level on record in 2016.

Haiti’s voter turnout dropped to the lowest level on record in 2016.

Greek’s voter turnout dropped to the lowest level on record in 2016.

American voter turnout dropped to its lowest level on record in 2016.

Brazil’s trust in its leadership dropped to its lowest level on record in 2016.

Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton scored historically unfavorable ratings in a March 2016 poll.

Sworn enemies Donald and Hillary both openly signal their mutual support of the Texas Longhorns football team, say they want to “rock on”, or tell their wholly-credulous constituents that they love them in American Sign Language, depending upon your mood. Actually, those are the plausible-deniability excuses put forward to cover up the fact that Donald and Hillary are both genetically-related members of the literal crime family of generational Satanists that have controlled things in all the nations, well, all the way back to Babylon, and before.

You know that all U.S. Presidents trace their maternal lineage back to King John I of England, right?

Plausible-deniability excuses are used because the subconscious of many or most will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In October 2016, the Denver post widened its eyes to simulate honesty and sowed the seed of doubt with “Are Americans losing faith in democracy***?”***

In October 2016, the hilariously named vaccineconfidence.org was forced to print “USA: Study shows millennials aren’t getting the flu vaccine because they don’t trust it.”

Where the author put “Study shows” at the beginning of the headline to give your subconscious the green light to say “oh, but that’s just one study!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In October 2016, Pew said “Pew: Most Americans Don’t Believe in ‘Scientific Consensus’ on Climate Change

Even though the article is published on their website, they began the headline with “Pew:” It weakens the headline, and gives the subconscious the green light to say, “oh, but that’s just one study!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

The article continues: “Nearly three-quarters of Americans don’t trust that there is a large ‘scientific consensus’ amongst climate scientists on human behavior being the cause of climate change.”

The author has used the general “MOST Americans” in the headline as a hedge against the far more impactful statistic, which, in journalistic parlance they have “buried” below. As a bonus, they generalized the statistic with NEARLY three-quarters”, which is far less impactful than 74% of Americans don’t trust the con artists.”

Can you see how they used “don’t BELIEVE” in the headline, and “don’t TRUST” in the body? They’ve “buried” the more damning of the two words lower in the copy.

In September 2016, Scientific American said “Mistrust of Vaccines Is Greatest in France”. Which is why a Science Alert article from January of 2017 is headlined “France is about to make 11 vaccines mandatory”. Which is in turn why a Science article from February 2015 is headlined “There’s more than one way to persuade people to vaccinate”.

In November 2016, FiveThirtyEight said only-generally that “Americans Don’t Trust Their Institutions Anymore”.

As you may recall, generality is a hallmark of propaganda.

The U.S. saw a record 37% drop in public trust in 2017. Where do you think that trust level is here in 2020, after the barely-covert international release of a Chinese bat virus with four amino acids added to it for improved transmissibility to humans?

You know that the word Covid comes from the Middle English “Covin”, right?

COVIN, fraud. A secret conspiracy between two or more persons, to act to the detriment or injury of another. A secret contrivance between two or more persons to defraud and prejudice another of his rights.

The Oxford English Dictionary does what it can to hedge and defray by providing this definition: “Covin - Origin Middle English (denoting a company or band).

A merry company or band of individuals whose secret conspiracy and contrivances and fraud go carefully unmentioned by the world’s top authority on the English language. Prosecution rests, your honor, no further questions.

A 2017 survey showed that global trust in Government was at an all-time low.

Voter turnout in the U.K. was the 5th lowest on record in 2017.

Voter turnout in the E.U. was the lowest on record in 2017.

A 2017 survey in showed that public trust in media in the U.S. was at an all time low.

The 2017 Edelman Trust Barometer showed that over half of respondents said they did not trust their main providers to define fair terms and conditions around the use of their personal data.

In February 2017 Donald Trump’s approval rating was the lowest in history at the one month mark in his term.

During World War II, the German populace totally understood that Hitler was a British double agent, doing everything he could to set up and knock down the country, while promising to “make Germany great again”. There were 24 attempts on Hitler’s life from 1932 to 1944. That’s two a year for twelve years. Does it have an historical counterpart? Not that I’ve heard of.

Ramrodding the con over the populace, even though a large subset get that a con is being worked, just as is being done in 2020. Back in the 40’s, the percentage of the populace who discerned the confidence game was too small to unseat Hitler.

Mussolini did the same thing to the Italians.

"Although generally regarded as the man who first swept to power (in 1922) as the savior of his country from communism, this book shows that, on the contrary, while communism was almost no threat at this time, by 1945, as a direct result of Mussolini’s reign, communism was set to spread rapidly in Europe, because he deliberately chose to turn Italy into a ‘social minefield’ primed to explode after his death, should he be defeated.

It is (next to the history of the Third Reich) the most extraordinary case-study of a man whose skill was in building myths about himself and his movement that convinced not just a whole country but the international governments of his day. He had a brilliant and monumental talent for deceit, which he exercised so effectively that he eventually fell victim to it himself, fooled by his own propaganda into entering a war his country could only lose, in a terrible way."

From “Mussolini”, by Denis Mack Smith, 1982

Mr. Smith plays the ruse that, while tons of Italian citizens got that Mussolini was a double-agent, every other ruler of every nation was completely fooled. The author of the definitive work on Mussolini is desperate to keep you from grasping that there is, indeed, Some Big Conspiracy.

Smith plays that Mussolini only blundered when he ruined Italy, the same farce that’s played with Hitler, who ruined Germany.

January 2017, Immunity Education Group sowed the seed of doubt with “Are Doctors Being Trained to Manipulate Patients About Vaccines***?***”

The words “mystery”, “baffled” and “puzzled” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. That’s why the article goes on to say “The number of parents questioning the safety of vaccines, the ingredients used, and the expanding 70-dose CDC schedule is growing, and medical organizations are trying to understand why”.

Immunity Education Group has just stated with a completely straight face that neither they, nor any medical organization on Earth understands why trust in vaccines is dropping. They’re a State propaganda organ, using conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty. It’s an example of a propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.

The first rule of politics is “deny, deny, deny”.

In March 2017 voter turnout was at a record low for the mayor’s election in Los Angeles.

In April 2017, weforum.org said “We don’t trust the internet. And it’s putting our digital future at risk.”

In May 2017 a majority in the U.S. said mainstream media publishes fake news.

In May 2017 voter turnout was at a record low for France’s parliamentary elections.

In May 2017, cbc.ca said ‘Honestly, I don’t get it’: Nova Scotia voter turnout at record low”.

Anytime a politician says “honestly” they are, by definition, lying. Or anyone else, for that matter.

The premier vowed to look at “how we turn that around” but didn’t offer specifics on how he would do so.

“I’m happy to look at any changes, electorally, that would engage more citizens,” McNeil said. “I know the prime minister tried that and it didn’t go well with Canadians.”

In Canada, they know the fix is in from the top, only most haven’t gotten to the “they’re all genetically related to one another” part. All in due time.

In July 2017 Donald Trump had the lowest six-month approval rating of any president.

Sales of “1984” have increased 9,500% amid the start of Trump’s presidency in 2017. The book was in such high demand the publisher ordered a 75,000-copy reprint.

The number of Americans who trusted their government “to do what is right” dropped 14% from 2017 to 2018.

In 2017, a book was published entitled “Who Can You Trust?: How Technology Brought Us Together and Why It Might Drive Us Apart”.

Author Rachel Botsman is fighting a desperate, hopeless rearguard action against a populace that has recognized that technology has been weaponized against it.

Trust in Science dropped 28% in Canada from 2017 to 2018.

Trust in Facebook has dropped by 66% from 2017 to 2018.

In 2017, World News said “Catalan nationalists losing faith in the EU”.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

In January 2017, oneyoungworld.com hedged that “It looks like young people are losing faith in global leadership”.

Where “leadership” is the most positive and awesome-sounding word possible for “politicians”.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

The words “mystery”, “baffled” and “puzzled” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. One of those variants is “alarmed”. That’s why a Press Herald article from July 2017 is headlined “In alarming trend, more Maine kids lacking vaccinations”.

Where “lacking vaccinations” is Mil-speak for “more Maine parents don’t trust vaccinations.”

In March 2017, the Baltimore Sun said “Study: African-Americans Don’t Trust Flu Vaccine”.

Where the author put “Study:” at the beginning of the headline to give your subconscious the green light to say “oh, but that’s just one survey!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

The story goes on to say “Many African Americans are not getting flu shots because they don’t trust the vaccine, while whites are more likely to think the flu is not a big deal, a new study has found.”

Wholly-credulous-rube whites, the most-educated and thus the most easily misled.

The Baltimore Sun’s name is a thinly-veiled reference to the Atonist Black Sun cult that’s ruled things in all the nations, well, all the way back to Babylon, and before.

In April 2017, the U.K.’s Guardian wrung its hands, feigned ignorance and wailed “Why are we reluctant to trust robots***?***”

image

In May 2017, Pew Research said “Survey: American public’s trust in government near historic low”.

They’ve begun the headline with “Survey:” so that your subconscious can grasp the straw of “oh, it was just one survey!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

Cheeringly, a Pew article from September 2019 is headlined: “Public trust in government near historic lows”.

Can you see how, down through the years, Pew is steadfastly maintaining that trust in government that is AT historic lows is only NEAR historic lows?

Where do you think that number is now, after the barely-covert international release of a Chinese bat virus with four amino acids added to it for improved transmissibility to humans?

In July 2017, the Atlantic explained how “From Trump to Brexit: Trust in Government Is Collapsing Around the World”.

Everyone in all the nations has recognized that the Fox is in the Henhouse. That the fix is in from the top. That the dimly recognized “One Percent” are having their way with humanity.

In August 2017, CBS said “New Report Finds 75 Percent Losing Faith In American Dream”.

They’ve begun the headline with “Report finds” so that your subconscious can grasp the straw of “oh, it was just one report!”, or, “someone reported that incorrectly!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

In September 2017, vox.com said “Brazilians are losing faith in democracy and considering a return to military rule”.

That’s Mil-speak for “Brazilians have woken up to the reality of “sham-democracy” and are about to get busted down to “brutal dictatorship”.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

In September 2017, NPR said “NPR/Ipsos Poll: Most Americans Don’t Trust Trump On North Korea”.

Where they used the general “MOST Americans” in the headline, and, in journalistic parlance, “buried” the far more impactful statistic in the body text below. That’s an example of a propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”. The propagandist knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines.

They’ve begun the headline with “Poll:” so that your subconscious can grasp the straw of “oh, it was just one poll!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In response to historically-low hurricane numbers, the folks in charge began upgrading tropical storms to hurricanes, lying blatantly about the numbers.

That’s why, in September 2017, the Washington Post said “The Energy 202: Why climate change deniers mistrust hurricane forecasts, too”.

In September 2017, Rose Law Group said “Americans losing faith in college degrees, poll finds”.

Can you see how they softened faith that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

They’ve ended the headline with “Poll finds” so that your subconscious can grasp the straw of “oh, it was just one poll!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In October 2017, Inside Higher Ed said “NCAA president: Public losing trust in big-time sports”.

Can you see how they softened trust that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” trust?

Sports weren’t rigged when I was young, at least not as bad as when I was older.

In October 2017, Patheos explained “Why We Don’t Trust Congress”.

Trust in online news was described as “declining” in November 2017.

In October 2017, Michelle Obama said “People Don’t Trust Politics’ Because GOP Is 'All Men, All White”.

image image

Well, if that’s true, then why is a Grand Haven Tribune article from October 2017 headlined “the Grand Haven Tribune said “Poll: Public losing faith in Trump”?

It’s not true. Michelle’s script writer was putting forward a bullshit plausible-deniability excuse, because they know that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

Can you see how they softened faith in Trump that has been concretely lost to merely “losing” faith?

Grifter Michelle, grifter Barack, grifter Donald, all losing, losing, losing. I mean have lost.

The article continues to say that “Just 24 percent of Americans believe the country is heading in the right direction after a tumultuous stretch for President Donald Trump”.

They said “Poll:” in the headline to give your subconscious the green light to say “oh, but that’s just one poll!” The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In November 2017, IndustryWeek said “We Shouldn’t Trust New Tech. We Shouldn’t Fear It”. How can you not fear something you can’t trust? That’s a brazen Satanic inversion. It’s also an example of doublespeak, and doublethink.

In November 2017, Niemenlab.org feigned ignorance and asked “Why don’t people trust the news and social media***?*** A new report lets them explain in their own words”.

The word “report” gives the subconscious of the reader the green light to say “oh, someone must have reported that incorrectly!” Or “but that’s just one report!”.

The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

In November 2017, an ICO survey showed most UK citizens don’t trust organisations with their data.

In December 2017, ScienceMag.com said “People don’t trust driverless cars. Researchers are trying to change that”.

They’re a state propaganda organ masquerading as a Science publication. Can you see how “researchers” is general? As you may recall, generality is a hallmark of propaganda.

In December 2017, EWN said “Survey: Most South African voters do not trust politicians”.

As an organ of the controlled press, they did what they could to hedge by using the general “most” in place of a far more impactful statistic. The author led the headline with “Survey:” to give your subconscious the green light to say “oh, but that’s just one survey!”

The populace of South Africa has recognized that the fox is in the henhouse. That the few are controlling the many by subterfuge.

The article goes on to say that “A quarter of those polled by the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation say they don’t feel close to any political party.”

Where the author hedged again by using “a quarter”, which is softer than “25%”.

In December 2017, Inside Higher Ed averred with a straight face that the confidence game was not, in fact collapsing by asking “Is the public really losing faith in higher education***?***”

They’re a State-sponsored propaganda outlet, using conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty.

In December 2017, NetRight Daily widened its eyes to simulate honesty and asked “Are Americans losing faith in the U.S. justice system***?***”

The credulously-named NetRight Daily is a Mouthpiece of the State, sowing the seed of doubt because they know that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

Everybody is catching on that the fix is in from the top.

The average trust score for all institutions in Canada dropped 13% from 2018 to 2019.

Trust in the media, government, business, and non-profit organizations in Quebec dropped 12% from 2018 to 2019.

Trust in driverless cars dropped in the first half of 2018.

Surveys in January 2018 showed that, regardless of nation, trust in Government was at an all-time low.

In February 2018, Vermont Public Radio furrowed their brow to simulate honesty and spoke of “Making A Case For Science When Trust Is In Short Supply”.

In Russia, trust in Putin dropped below 50% in July of 2018.

In 2019, 65% of the U.S. population had strong confidence that scientists were not acting in the public’s best interests. What do you think that number is now, after the barely-covert international release of a Chinese bat virus with four amino acids added to it for improved transmissibility to humans?
