Easy way to clean zapper terminals

I learned as a kid when helping my grandmother to clean tarnish off of silverware that in a pinch, Catsup will work great. So now i remember this and use catsup to clean the terminals on our zappers. It works great, and it only takes a few seconds. I simply squirt a tiny amount of catsup on my index finger and rub away on the terminal. within a few seconds it looks like brand new copper. I wipe it clean with a damp sponge and then wipe with a dry towel. I hope this is helpful to someone!Smile

Over here we have a metal-cleaning product made from fruit ash. A little bit of that is applied with the slightly moist tip of a cloth or paper towel and it very easily cleans the terminals (please keep in mind this is an electronic device so use a minimum of moisture). Regular ash will do the trick as well.

that’s good to know!!

tooth paste works great too
