In October 2018, elektrek.co said that Chevy Bolt electric vehicle sales in the U.S. were “slumping”, and attributed it to “Chevy focusing production for other markets.

Just so you know: flip phone sales increased by 5% in 2019. It was their fourth consecutive quarter of growth, and they comprised roughly one fourth of all phones shipped.

In April 2022, insideevs.com said “Lucid CEO Made Over $260 Million In Performance-Based Awards In 2021”. What makes that so hilarious is that author Dan Mihalascu wrote the headline in a way that omits the following, which you have to read the article to learn: “Lucid Group CEO Peter Rawlinson earned more than $260 million in performance-based awards last year, just before the EV startup’s shares plunged by two-thirds.” Where “plunged by two-thirds” is a thinly-veiled reference to the fallen Lord Lucifer.

In May 2022, 76% of the public would not consider buying an electric car. J.D. Power described it as “skepticism still exists”.

As you can see, free market Capitalism and the law of Supply and Demand do not, in fact, exist.

In August 2022, total new car registrations in the U.S. increased by 1.2%, year-over-year.
The 1.2% year-over-year increase in car registrations in the United States in August 2022 was 933% greater, or more than ten times greater than the 10% year-over-year decrease in electric car registrations there that same month.
