It is quite a long time since I got a good chance to share with the Etheric Warriors via this wonderful forum. I saw some post by Don Croft about the USA president Barack Obama, but then I was committed due to academic duties (hope you know I was in college) President of the United States of America has direct link and origin from the country Kenya. I know that most of you might not know much about him, but due to the fact that him and I are members of the same community, I wish to shade some light about his background here in Kenya. I have nothing absolutely about him, but am just driven by the desire to let those who are interested to know the truth.
The most famous home where tourists from all over the world who visit Kenya goes is known as Allego Kogello, which is located in Nyanza province of Western Kenya. However, that is not their ancestral home. The family, some time back used to live in Homa-Bay District in Southern Nyanza, in a place called Karachuonyo Kendu-Bay.
The grandfather had two wives, and the first one died and was burried in Kendu-Bay. The known Grandmother Sara Obama is ne cowife to the late grandmother.Unfortunately, she never gave birth to any child, and so she was never loved that much by the husband.
In the Luo Community where they belonged, there are some of the bad practices that if one engages himself/herself in, the person is excommunicated or disowned or is chased away from the community where he/she lives. The family practiced “Juok” a Luo language which means Witchcraft. They as a result of that were chased away from their community by the community members, and so they ran away and settled in Kogello where the grandmother stays up to now. The other close relatives who were known to be innocent by the villagers were not sent away, and so they were left to stay. That is why part of their great family stays in Kendu-Bay till now.
In the Luo community particularly moral standards are seriously regarded as a core value to the community, and anybody who proves to be unethical is not fit to stay. Such people are sent away from the community.
Before his return to Kenya, an action which changed the community’s attitude towards the family, the latter was seriously disregarded and disrespected by the fellow members. That is why could you be following the early history of the place, you can realize that the family was one of the most desperate and the village where they lived before this success is compost of very desperate and poor people.
When president Obama became the president of USA, Kenya was happy and this was celebrated as if the win was in Kenya. In fact, there was a national holiday which was declared by the president in that regard. However, right now, the country have nothing to celebrate about is leadership, for so many reasons, some of which are confidential. Other communities in Kenya have developed natural hate for him, because he is accused of influencing Kenyan Politics.
Am very sorry if this will offend anybody, but that is the honest truth.
Benedict.
