From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Indianapolis, Indiana decreased by 17%, from to 271 to 226. The greatest thing is, when I did the math, I learned that Jacob had falsely downgraded the decrease in homicide by 13%, from the actual 17% to a fraudulently-claimed 15%. As a bonus, he omitted the 271 homicides in 2021 and replaced it with “a decrease of 45 homicides”, to make me do the math.
I have exposed his duplicity by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
Fox59.com’s Jacob Burbrink said the sudden, exponential decrease in homicides in Indianapolis was from police “going after the most dangerous known felons and trigger pullers while paying more attention to the locations around the city where crime often occurs”.
Jacob also said “a pace that the department wants to keep up”, to imply that the police in Indianapolis had simply somehow worked 17% harder in 2022 than they had the previous year.
For the drool cup-wearing NPR addicts in the Punch and Judy tent, this is the sort of stuff that carries the day.
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Chicago, Illinois decreased by 14% , from 804 to 695.
Illinoispolicy.org’s Hannah Max omitted the percentage and the homicide total from 2021, to make me do the math, twice. Then she referred to the decrease only-generally as a “decline”. She did that because “decline” is softer then “drop” or “decrease”, and because declines are gradual.
From 2021 to 2022, the 14% decrease in homicides in Chicago was the 2nd largest one-year decrease in the city’s history, behind only the 25% decrease from 2003 to 2004, from 604 to 455.
Hannah didn’t offer any suggestion as to what had led to the sudden, gigantic decrease in homicides in Chicago in 2022. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.
From 2021 to 2022, the 17% and 14% respective decreases in homicides in Indianapolis, Indiana and Chicago Illinois were statistically almost identical.
Hanna and Jacob are desperate to keep you from recognizing that moral and mental health vary directly with that of the subject’s etheric environment.

On February 13, 2023, fox59.com said “Tracking homicides taking place in 2023”.
Where author Jacob Burbrink wrote the headline in a completely general way, where the reader cannot discern that the article is about decreasing homicides, or the exponential scope of that decrease, or the where that exponential decrease in homicides is taking place. For the record, it’s Indianapolis, Indiana.
As a propagandist, Jacob knows that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generalities go a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the sudden, exponential decrease in homicides which he is attempting to obfuscate.
You have to read the article to learn:
“In 2022, 226 people lost their lives in a homicide in Indianapolis. This is a decrease of 45 homicides from 2021 when Indianapolis set a new record for homicides. It was a 15 percent decrease in criminal homicides, a pace that the department wants to keep up.”
