Knobler used the hedging generality “substantial evolutionary distance” and omitted the statistic, and did not offer any suggestion as to how, just prior to 1918, that, er, substantial evolutionary distance might have suddenly been covered.
It’s an, er, cover for the fact that an H1N1 bird virus was genetically engineered just prior to 2018 to infect humans, and kill them, or give them autism or schizophrenia, both of which are what was plainspokenly referred to in the old days as “demonic possession”.

Smith, et al did not “discover” the influenza A virus, as falsely alleged by the Guardian’s Michael Bresalier. Rather, they worked assiduously and pervertedly, and transferred it into a population of ferrets, so that it could later be worked on and engineered by Thomas Francis, Jr. at the University of Michigan at an industrial scale.

It’s just like Shi Zhengli, the chief expert on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology would do just about eighty years later when she collected many types of coronaviruses from wild bats and took them back to her lab. There she manipulated the viruses to make them capable of attacking humans, principally by taking the gene for the spike protein of one virus and inserting it into the genome of another, creating what would be dubbed “COVID-19”.

It’s an example of the “Big Lie” so favored by Hitler, Goebbels, and small town Mayors the world over.
In 2025, Wikipedia said “In 1940, an acute respiratory illness outbreak in Northern America led to the discovery of influenza B virus (IBV), which was later discovered to not have any antigenic cross-reactivity with influenza A virus (IAV).”
Where Wikipedia has hidden the fact that Thomas B. Francis first isolated the influenza B virus in 1936, per, er, Wikipedia.
It took him until 1940 to get it released upon the general populace in what Wikipedia referred to as “an acute respiratory outbreak”.
In 2025, Wikipedia said “Although IBV has occasionally been found in seals and pigs, its primary host species is the human”.
When, in fact, the origin of the influenza B virus is the H1N1 influenza A virus, which for some unexplained reason suddenly jumped from birds to humans in 1918 and killed 50 million people.
Wikipedia uses the half truth that its primary host species is human that it came from ferrets, to muddy the trail.
I have exposed the duplicity of Wikipedia by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
In 2025, Wikipedia said “In 1942, a new bivalent vaccine was developed that protected against both the H1N1 strain of influenza A and the newly discovered influenza B virus.[24] The viruses included in flu vaccines are changed each year”.
