Craig said “more now than in past three decades” to avoid saying “more than ever in history.”
Craig said “more” as a hedging generality against a specific statistic which would have provided an accurate picture of the exponential increase in distrust of the godless Communist Red Chinese.
The article goes on to say “A record level of Americans (58%) view China’s development as a world power as a critical threat to the vital interest of the United States, the highest level recorded in Chicago Council Surveys dating back to 1990.”

I’m taking the Chinese to task because they invented Freemasonry thousands of years ago, and have been using it to control everything in all the nations ever since.
