On July 30, 2024, JAMA Network Open Pediatrics published “Suicide in US Preteens Aged 8 to 12 Years, 2001 to 2022”, by first author Donna A. Ruch, Ph.D.
Where Donna used “suicide” because it is general. As a propagandist, Donna knows that 70% of readers only read the headlines, and that her technique goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the sudden, exponential increase in technology-driven suicide which she is attempting to obfuscate.
That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
The study goes on to say “Little is known about the epidemiology of preteen suicide, limiting our ability to inform targeted prevention strategies.”
Where “little is known” and “limiting our ability” are examples of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.
When, in fact, we know that psychiatric morbidity among Web-addicted individuals is 65% greater than it is among those not so afflicted. And we know that living in cities is associated with a 100% increase, or doubling of schizophrenia.

First author Donna Ruch omitted the percentage, and said only “a disproportionate increase in female suicide rates relative to male”.
