As propagandists, they know that, since sixtyt seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, their hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential increase in the deep population that I’m documenting here.
Under the false guise of familiarity, they omitted any mention of geography, to make the subject almost unsearchable. As a bonus, they omitted the word “deer”, and the date of the record, for the same reason. Those are all examples of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
For those late to the party, anytime an article is uncredited, it is proof that said author is an Intelligence operative.
The article goes on to say “Deer hunters in the United States harvested an estimated 6.3 million white-tailed deer in the 2020-21 hunting season, the most since 2011, according to the National Deer Association’s latest Deer Report released this week. Where “saw record bear hunting” walks it back a step from Vermont actually experiencing it.
Author Kate Barcellos used “record bear hunting” because it’s general. As a propagandist, she knows that, since sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, her hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential increase in the bear population that I’m documenting here.
As a bonus she wrote it as “record bear hunting” to imply that it was greater hunting assiduousness that led to the largest bear harvest in the history of the state of Vermont.
The article goes on to say “Over the past two seasons, Vermont hungers have pulled in record numbers of black bears, clocking in 914 black bears during the two-part bear season. This past hunting season, 823 bears were harvested early, and only 91 late. The total amounts to almost 200 more than in 2019, the highest bear harvest on record.”
Where “pulled in” once again plays the false ruse that it was greater hunting assiduousness that led to the largest bear harvest in the history of the state of Vermont.
Many or most wholly-credulous rubes would presume that “Vermont hungers” is the product of slipshod reporting and editing…where both the author and the editor (or editors!) all inexplicably missed the extremly obvious albeit auto-correct-generated error. It is in fact, a crafty omission of the searchable word “hunters”.

And then how she used the general “almost 200 more” to obscure the far more impactful specific increase between the old record and the new?
