“Bond remembered the dictum of the pros: ‘It’s never too early to start winning.”
From “Goldfinger”, by Ian Fleming, 1964

(“Is the mint julep tart enough for you?” - Gert Frobe as Auric Goldfinger, from the film “Goldfinger”, 1964)
In the film version, Goldfinger unleashes that quote right after laying out the whole diabolical plan for Bond. I just love the juxtaposition.
THE DATA
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Shreveport, Louisiana decreased by 47% , from 90 to 48. Ktbs.com’s Bill Lunn omitted the percentage from the headline (along with “Shreveport” and “Lousiana”), and referred to it only generally as "drop in homicide numbers" .
Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith said it was because of “Some new technologies, some new innovative strategies, some thinking outside the box, some intelligence led policing”.
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Trenton, New Jersey decreased by 43%. Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora said it was because of "hiring more police officers , the launch of a team of residents tasked with mediating neighborhood disputes before they turn violent , as well as, the opening of the city’s real-time crime center , and a before and after school center for at-risk youth ".
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Columbus, Ohio decreased by 32% , from 205 to 140. The Columbus Dispatch’s Cole Behrens omitted the percentage from the headline, where he referred to it only-generally as "homicide rate falls ".
From 2021 to 2022, gunshots fired in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 21% , from 11,536 to 9,097.
From 2021 to 2022, gunshot wound victims in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 17% , from 658 to 544.
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 15%, from 93 to 79. Kstp.com’s Jay Kolls omitted the percentage decrease from the headline, where he referred to it only-generally as “drop significantly”. The Star Tribune’s Cole Behrens also omitted the percentage decrease from the headline, where he referred to it only-generally as “Minneapolis saw a drop in homicides”.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said that the sudden, exponential decreases were due “hard work by a shorthanded MPD staff” and “help from community groups and violence interrupters”.
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Las Vegas, Nevada decreased by 8%, from 158 to 146. Fox5vegas.com’s Michael Bell omitted the percentage from the headline, and referred to it only-generally as "down from previous year ".
THE ARTICLES
On January 5, 2023, the Columbus Dispatch said “As 2022 Columbus homicide rate falls from record high, youth involvement in violence rises.”
Where author Cole Behrens wrote “falls from record high" because, as a propagandist, they know that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and their hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the scope of the exponential decrease in homicides that he’s attempting to obfuscate. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
He used the word “fallen” because it’s softer then “dropped” or “decreased”, but mostly as a thinly-veiled reference to the fallen Lord Lucifer.

(The fall of Lucifer, from “Paradise Lost”, by John Milton, 1667)
In journalistic parlance, Cole “buried” this in the body text below:
“Columbus ended 2022 with 140 homicides, a 32% decrease from the previous year’s record-breaking 205. Other violent crimes such as rape and felonious assault also decreased year-over-year, according to police data.”
Now let’s read a version written by an honest person:
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Columbus, Ohio decreased by 32%, from 205 to 140. The Columbus Dispatch’s Cole Behrens omitted the percentage from the headline, where he referred to it only-generally as “homicide rate falls”.

That’s because, to followers of the Left-hand path like Cole, the left eye is the “eye of Will”, or “the eye of Horus”. He figured that the rubes would never notice the coded visual imagery.)

On January 7, 2023, startribune.com said “For the first time in three years, Minneapolis saw a drop in homicides, shootings and carjackings in 2022”
Where author Andy Mannix said “saw a drop in homicides” to walk it back a step from Minneapolis actually experiencing it.
Andy wrote “drop in homicides" because, as a propagandist, he knows that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the scope of the exponential decrease in homicides that he’s attempting to obfuscate. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
The article is behind a paywall. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”. So I had to look up another article.
On January 3, 2022, kstp.com said “Minneapolis violent crime numbers drop significantly in 2022”.
Where author Jay Kolls wrote “drop significantly" because, as a propagandist, he knows that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the scope of the exponential decrease in homicides that he’s attempting to obfuscate. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
In journalistic parlance, Jay “buried” this in the body text below:
“Year-end Minneapolis data showed the number of homicides in the city dropped from 93 in 2021 to 79 in 2022, a nearly 20% decrease.”
Now let’s read a version written by an honest person:
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 15%, from 93 to 79. Kstp.com’s Jay Kolls omitted the percentage decrease from the headline, where he referred to it only-generally as “drop significantly”.
You’ll recall that the Star Tribune’s Cole Behrens also previously omitted the percentage decrease from the headline on the same subject, where he referred to it only-generally as “Minneapolis saw a drop in homicides”.
Jay Kolls goes on to say “That improvement from 2021 to 2022 applied to nearly every category of violent crime. Carjackings dropped from 655 to 524, gunshots fired reports declined from 11,536 to 9,097, gunshot wound victims fell from 658 to 544, and robberies decreased from 2,221 to 1,798.”
Where Jay did what little he could to hedge by omitting the far more impactful percentage decreases and making me do the math. Oh, and did you notice that he omitted the statistic for homicides?
Let’s take a look at how it looks written by an honest person:
From 2021 to 2022, carjackings in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 20%, from 655 to 524.
From 2021 to 2022, gunshots fired in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 21%, from 11,536 to 9,097.
From 2021 to 2022, gunshot wound victims in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 17%, from 658 to 544.
From 2021 to 2022, robberies in Minneapolis, MN decreased by 19%, from 2,221 to 1,798.
The article goes on to say “Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said hard work by a shorthanded MPD staff is largely responsible for the shift in violent crime. He also said help from community groups and violence interrupters have contributed significantly.”
Here’s Alex Mannix’s picture, in a Satanic purple shirt, in front of a Satanic purple background:

On January 9, 2023, fox5vegas.com said “Las Vegas homicide rate for 2022 down from previous year, data shows”.
Where author Michael Bell wrote “down from previous year” because, as a propagandist, he knows that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the scope of the exponential decrease in homicides that he’s attempting to obfuscate. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
As a bonus, he tacked “data shows” on the end of the headline, to give the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader the green light to say “oh, but they can make that homicide data show anything!” Michael knows that many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.
Michael wrote “down from previous year” to redact the more-searchable “2021”. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
In journalistic parlance, Michael “buried” this in the body text below: “In 2022, the department saw 146 murders compared to 158 the year prior, a decrease of 7.6%”.
Let’s take a look at how it looks written by an honest person:
From 2021 to 2022, homicides in Las Vegas, Nevada decreased by 8%, from 158 to 146. Fox5vegas.com’s Michael Bell omitted the percentage from the headline, and referred to it only-generally as “down from previous year”.
On January 9, 2023, whyy.org said “Homicide rate drops 43% in New Jersey’s capital city during 2022”.
Where author P. Kenneth Burns omitted “Trenton”, to make the subject far less searchable. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
The article goes on to say “Mayor Reed Gusciora credits a number of things to the reduce in bloodshed, including hiring more police officers, the launch of a team of residents tasked with mediating neighborhood disputes before they turn violent, as well as, the opening of the city’s real-time crime center, and a before and after school center for at-risk youth.”
Can you see how Mayor Gusciora used four different plausible-deniability excuses? That’s to give the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader a smorgasbord to choose from, and also to provide the ability to say “he couldn’t possibly be lying about four different things!”

On January 10, 2023, ktbs.com said "SPD chief credits ‘predictive policing strategy’ to drop in homicide numbers.
Where, under the false guise of familiarity, author Bill Lunn omitted the name of the city, and the state, to make the subject almost unsearchable. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”. For the record, it’s Shreveport, Louisiana.
Bill wrote “drop in homicide” because, as a propagandist, he knows that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the scope of the exponential decrease in homicides that he’s attempting to obfuscate. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
In journalistic parlance, Bill “buried” this in the body text below: "With 90 homicides in 2021, the city was bracing for what would happen on the streets in 2022. But by the midway point in the year, it was clear, the pace of these senseless killings had slowed down .
Then you have to read seven more paragraphs to get to “Every killing in Shreveport has the same thing in common: 46 out of 48 killings in 2022 were committed with firearms.”
That “guns were used!” crack is for the drool bucket-wearing crowd in the Punch and Judy tent.
I’m guessing that you noticed that, while ktbs.com’s Bill Lunn provided the numbers - albeit separated by seven paragraphs - he carefully hedged by omitting the far more impactful percentage decrease between them. Those are examples of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
For grade school children studying the subject in the future, asking the average American in 2023 to read seven paragraphs is like asking someone from the 1960’s to read “Moby Dick” at a sitting.
