On June 30, 2025, Omdia said “shipments of desktops and notebooks to the United States grew 15% year on year in Q1 2025, hitting 16.9 million units”.
On September 13, 2025, digitaljournal.com’s Dr. Tim Sandle said “Market Growth: Global shipments of smartphones fell to 288.9 million units in Q2 2025, with modest consumer demand restricting market growth.”
Here, Dr. Sandle psychotically referred to a decrease in smartphone sales as “Market Growth”, and, for good measure, he capitalized “Market” and “Growth”.
Then he omitted how much international smartphone sales had decreased by, and what number they had decreased from.
Those are examples of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.
So I had to research another article, and then do the math.
Dr. Sandle said “fell” because it is softer than “decreased”, but mostly as a thinly-veiled reference to the fallen Lord Lucifer.

On October 13, 2025, idc.com said "worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker , global smartphone shipments increased 2.6% year-over-year (YoY) to 322.7 million units in the third quarter of 2025 (3Q25).
When, in fact, in the 3rd Quarter of 2025, international smartphone shipments increased by 2%, year-over-year, from 316.1 million to 322.7 million (both idc’s own statistics), not by 2.6%, as fraudulently claimed by idc.com.
IDC took an actual 2.0% increase and falsely inflated it by 30%, or by almost one third, to a fabricated 2.6%.
