It just occurred to me; statistics are the only way to break the spell woven by language crafted to deceive. Especially given the fact that, regardless of culture or geography, the readership of that language wishes, on a subconscious level, to be deceived.

Of course, even cold statistics won’t sway someone who is intent on being deceived.

But data will work more effectively than anything else will.

Today’s data shows that the great massif that is Technology is cracking, and about to collapse.

That it is, in fact, in the midst of collapsing.
