On December 30, 2022, the Hollywood Reporter said “Disney Stock Fell 44 Percent in 2022 Amid Tumultuous Year”.
Where author Caitlyn Huston said “fell 44%” because it’s softer than “dropped” or “decreased”, but mostly as a thinly-veiled reference to the fallen Lord Lucifer.

Where Caitlin has inverted it, saying booting the CEO drove the decrease, versus the truth, that the CEO drove the decrease. And even that is a half-truth, in that ineptitude on the part of the CEO had little to nothing to do with the decrease, a decrease driven rather by a populace returning to its wits and giving up Satanic video entertainment.
And, “high cost of streaming”, wait, what? It’s the sort of spurious plausible-deniability excuse that many or most readers will grasp onto to avoid taking personal responsibility.
