In April 2022, homicides in New York decreased by 38%, year-over-year, from 50 to 31

“There can be no friendship where there is cruelty, where there is disloyalty, where there is injustice. And in places where the wicked gather there is conspiracy only, not companionship: these have no affection for one another; fear alone holds them together; they are not friends, they are merely accomplices.”

THE DATA

In the first three months of 2022, murders in Los Angeles decreased by 10%, year-over-year, from 94 to 85.

In January 2022, homicides in Columbus, Ohio decreased by 59% , year-over-year, from 22 to 9. Columbus Police Deputy Chief Tim Becker described it as “a dramatic decrease”, and offered no suggestion as to why it might have taken place.

In March 2022, ABC News said “As crimes rise, battles rage on about police funding”.

In April 2022, homicides in New York decreased by 38%, year-over-year, from 50 to 31.

In April 2022, homicides in Chicago decreased by 10%, year-over-year, from 49 to 44. ABC7 called the 10% decrease “a slight drop”.

slight - adjective - small in degree; inconsiderable.

THE ARTICLES

In February 2022, abc6onyourside.com said “Columbus seeing fewer murders in 2022 after record breaking year of homicides in 2021”.

Where “seeing fewer murders” walks it back a step from Columbus actually experiencing it, and queasily implies that the murders are still going on, only no one is looking for them with the proper assiduousness, currently.

Author Steve Levine used the general “seeing fewer murders” because he knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and that his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the sudden, exponential decrease in crime I’m documenting here.

The article goes on to say “the first month of 2022 ended with Columbus recording just nine homicides, compared to January 2021 which ended with 22 people losing their lives to deadly violence.”

Where Steve said “recording just nine homicides” to give the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader the green light to say “oh, but someone must have recorded that incorrectly!” The propagandist knows that many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

I’m guessing you noticed that Steve bravely withheld the far more impactful percentage decrease that I was forced to do the math to learn. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”. He doesn’t want you to read the plainspoken “In January 2022, homicides in Columbus, Ohio decreased by 59%, year-over-year, from 22 to 9.”

The words “mystery”, “baffled” and “puzzled” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. One of those variants is “dramatic”. That’s why the article goes on to say “We would rather have zero,” said Columbus Police Deputy Chief Tim Becker, “nine versus 22, is a dramatic decrease.”

Neither Columbus Police Deputy Chief Tim Becker nor author Steve Levine offer any guess as to what caused the sudden, exponential, historically-unprecedented decrease in homicides in Columbus Ohio in January 2022. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.

And, despite the fact that one is a high-ranking law enforcement officer and the other writes about crime for a living, neither of them mention that the gigantic decrease in homicides in Columbus, Ohio maps against similar exponential decreases that are taking place regardless of geography. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.

They’re desperate to keep you from recognizing that moral and mental health vary directly with that of the subject’s etheric environment.

But they say that the hardest part of solving a problem is recognizing that you have one.

In March 2022, ABC News said “As crimes rise, battles rage on about police funding”.

As an aside, I’d note that “rise” is an insider-wink shout-out to the Atonist Black Sun cult that’s run things in all the nations, well, all the way back to Babylon, and before.

It’s also a falsehood, as we know because we’re reviewing specific statistics about crime decreases that refute the only-general assertion “crimes rise” in the ABC News headline.

In April 2022, nyc.gov said “NYPD Announces Citywide Crime Statistics for April 2022”

You can’t tell from reading the headline that the story is about a sudden, exponential decrease in New York in April 2022. The uncredited propagandist has written it that way because they know sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and that their hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the sudden, exponential decrease in crime I’m documenting here.

The article goes on to say “For the month of April 2022, New York City saw a 38% decrease in homicides (31 v. 50) and a 29.1% drop in shooting incidents (105 v. 148)”.

Where “saw a 38% decrease” walks it back a step from New York City actually experiencing it, and queasily implies that the murders are still going on, only no one is looking for them with the proper assiduousness, currently.

In April 2022, xtown.la said “Murders fall in first quarter in Los Angeles”.

Where author Jon Regardie said "murders fall" because it’s softer than “drop” or “decrease”, and also as an homage to the fallen Lord Lucifer. But the most important reason he used it is because it is general.

Jon has written it that way because he knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and that his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the sudden, exponential decrease in crime I’m documenting here.

The article goes on to say “Homicides decline 9.6% from same period last year, but are above pre-pandemic levels. In the first three months of 2022, there were 85 homicides, according to publicly available Los Angeles Police Department data. That compares with 94 victims in the same period last year.”

Where the author used “decline” because it’s softer than “drop” or “decrease”, and because it echoes the word “recline”. Declines are gradual.

Despite the shootings reported this weekend, Chicago Police say the city saw a slight drop in homicides last month.
Citywide, there were 49 murders in April, which is five fewer than last April.

Wait, what? I had to do the math to learn that, in April 2022, homicides in Chicago decreased by 10%, year-over-year. ABC7 called the 10% decrease “a slight drop”.
