That’s why a nature.com article from April 2021 wrung its hands and questioned “Why is it so hard to investigate the rare side effects of COVID vaccines ?”
As of June 11, 2021, the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) had posted 358,379 adverse events, including 5,993 deaths and 29,871 serious injuries.
Historically, less than 10% of vaccine side effects are reported to VAERS. An investigation by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services put it even as low as 1%.
Within that context, using a conservative 5% as “less than 10%”, we can conclude that, as of June 2021, there had been between 119,860 and 599,300 deaths and 596,340 and 2,987,100 serious injuries from the Covid-19 vaccines in the United States.
In August 2022, 41% of recent COVID deaths in San Diego County, California were among fully vaccinated and boosted individuals.
The uncredited author from kusi.com went on to say “There is no data category for people with zero COVID-19 vaccine doses.”
The false claim that there is no data category for people with zero Covid-19 vaccine doses is a bald-faced example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.

The article goes on to say "More than 3 million or 89.9% of San Diegans age 6 months and older are at least partially vaccinated. Nearly 2.66 million or 79.4% are fully vaccinated. A total of 1,424,581 or 58.5% of 2,435,363 eligible San Diegans have received a booster.
To make matters worse, the official report for San Diego County shows that 41% of recent COVID-19 deaths are among fully vaccinated and boosted individuals.
26% of the 88 recent deaths are among fully vaccinated people. And 33% among people not fully vaccinated, which includes those with one shot and zero shots.
There is no data category for people with zero COVID-19 vaccine doses."
