Where Senior Staff Writer Patrick Boyle said “so many Americans” because, as a propagandist, he knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” the exponential speed and scope of the decrease in trust in science which he is attempting to obfuscate.
Using a time-honored propaganda technique, Patrick “buried” the data in a separate table. If just 30% of readers get to the article, how many do you think make it to the table, and then do the math on the raw figures? It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.

They tacked “study” on the end to give the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader the green light to say “oh, but you can make those studies say anything!” or “oh, but that was just one study!” The propagandist knows that many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.
For those unaware, anytime an author is uncredited, it is proof that said author is an Intelligence operative.

Where the hedging generalities “go beyond” and “many believe” are put forward to “compartmentalize” the exponential speed and scope of the decrease in trust in news organizations which the uncredited Intelligence operative is attempting to obfuscate. Every paragraph increases the chances of the reader dropping off prior to getting to any truly impactful data.
The article continues:
“Asked whether they agreed with the statement that national news organisations do not intend to mislead, 50 percent said they disagreed. Only 25 percent agreed, the study found.”
The article goes on to say:
“Similarly, 52 percent disagreed with a statement that disseminators of national news “care about the best interests of their readers, viewers and listeners”, the study found. It said 23 percent of respondents believed the journalists were acting in the public’s best interests.”
This 23% figure is highly instructive, in that it documents the approximate percentage of the American populace comprised by generational Satanist Freemasons, all under orders to vote “party line” on the issue.
The words “mystery”, “baffled” and “puzzled” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything.
