THE DATA
The winter of 2021-22 was the third-lowest snowfall in Sioux City, Iowa in history. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek lied bald-facedly and said it was “their least snowy winter on record”. But, wait, there’s more: precipitation in Iowa has been above average since 2005. I have exposed the duplicity of Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”
From 1936 to 2022, the Death Valley, California’s all-time rainfall record increased by 53%, from 1.1 inches in 1936 to 1.7 inches in 2022.
Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek lied bald-facedly and inflated the previous Death Valley rainfall record by 37%, from an actual 1.1 inches to a fabricated 1.47 inches, while both he and the Feds were in lock-step on the propaganda and steadfastly lied together by reducing the actual rainfall by 14%, from 1.7 inches to a fraudulently-claimed 1.46 inches.
That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.
I have exposed the duplicity of the National Park Service, Fox Weather and their toady Scott Sistek by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek omitted the amount and year of the previous record, along with the margin between the old record and the new. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
I had to look up a separate article to learn “breaking the old December record of 179 inches set back in 1970, according to the lab.”
Then I had to do the math to learn that, in December 2021, the University of California at Berkeley’s Sierra Snow Lab’s, all-time snow record for the month increased by 13%, from 179 inches in 1970 to 202.1 inches in 2022.
In January, February and March 2022, snowfall in Denver, Colorado was 120%, 105% and 132% above average. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek said “Between Jan. 5 and March 16, Denver observed snow on eight of 11 Wednesdays”, and made no mention of those percentages.
in 2022, Seattle, Washington’s precipitation was 2.5% above average (40.27 inches vs. 39.43 inches). Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek said “Seattle had its driest 120-day stretch in city history this summer (0.54 inches ). Portland, Oregon, went 67 days without measurable rain. The year will still finish above average for annual rainfall for both cities.”
The summer dry stretch in Seattle was by no means a negative thing. In fact, it was a positive thing. If you’ve ever been to the Pacific Northwest, you know that everyone there was thrilled that everything had a chance to dry out, for once. Scott Satanically inverted it, to try to paint a false picture that there was something was wrong with the climate.
In 2022, Dallas, Texas’ rainfall was 25% below average (29.24 inches vs. 39.1 inches).
In 2022, Tallahassee, Florida had its first freeze of the season before Denver, Colorado.
In 2022 Birmingham, Alabama had its first freeze before Billings, Montana.
In January 2022, snowfall in Denver, Colorado was 120% above average (14.3 inches vs. 6.5 inches). The Denver Post’s Andy Stein omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new, and described it only-generally as "come out ahead" .
On January 29, 2022, Islip, New York’s snowfall record for the date increased by 1,466% , from 1.5 inches to 23.5 inches. Bizarrely, Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek bizarrely increased the margin by 2.3%, calling it “a record smash of better than 1500%”. That may be Black magic - with Scott pretending to be “bad at math” to give the Coincidence theorist reader a straw to grasp in regard to all of his other blatant falsehoods,
In February 2022, Denver, Colorado’s snowfall was 105% above average (15.8 inches vs. 7.7 inches). Kdvr.com’s Jessica Lebel omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new, saying only-generally “more than doubled the average”, and referred to snowfall in February that was double the average merely as “snowy”.
In March 2022, Denver snow total was 132% above average (16.7 inches vs. 7.2 inches).
On March 10, 2022, Casper, Wyoming’s all-time low temperature record for the date decreased by 19%, from -21 degrees in 1965 to -25 degrees. Bizarrely, Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek inflated the old record by 57%, from -21 degrees to -9 degrees. That may be Black magic - pretending to be “bad at math” to give the Coincidence theorist a straw to grasp in regard to all of his other blatant falsehoods.
Then Scott omitted the percentage decrease between the old record and the new, describing it only-generally as “breaking the old record”. He also omitted the year of the previous record. On April 13, 2022, weeks into spring, Butte Montana’s all-time low temperature for the date decreased by 160% , from 10 degrees in 2001 to -6 degrees in 2022. Fox Weather’s Scott Sisek omitted the percentage decrease between the old record and the new, and described it only-generally as “breaking its previous record low”. He also omitted the year of the previous record .
In June, 2022, Vero Beach, Florida had three record low temperatures and no record high temperatures.
On June 3, 2023, Vero Beach, Florida’s record low maximum temperature for the date was tied, with 2020, at 79 degrees.
On June 22, 2022, Vero Beach, Florida’s record low temperature for the date was tied, with 2008, at 68 degrees.
On June 22, 2022, the high temperature in Palm Bay, Florida, 30 miles north of Vero Beach, was 85 degrees (weather underground).
On June 22, 2022, the high temperature in Fort Pierce, Florida, 14 miles north of Vero Beach, was 84 degrees (weather underground)
On June 22, 2022, the high temperature in Vero Beach, Florida was 84 degrees (weather underground)
On June 22, 2022, the 84-degree high temperature in Vero Beach, Florida was 1 degree cooler, or 1.2% cooler than it the 85 degree high temperature in Palm Bay, Florida, 30 miles to the north.
On June 23, 2022, Vero Beach, Florida’s record low temperature for the date decreased by 4.4%, from 68 degrees in 1977 to 65 degrees in 2022. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new. He also omitted the year of the previous record.
Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek claimed that, on June 23, 2022, Vero Beach, Florida tied the high temperature record for the date from 2020, at 94 degrees. Scott omitted the year of the previous record. Then he inflated the temperature by 2.1%, from an actual 92 degrees to a fraudulently-claimed record that didn’t happen of 94 degrees.
As you can see, the record low temperatures are getting colder, while the record high temperatures are not being touched. Scott painted the picture in as devious a way as possible, so that you would think that the opposite was the case. I have exposed his duplicity by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
On June 23, 2022, weather underground currently says that the high temperature in Vero Beach, Florida was 92 degrees.
On June 23, 2022, weather underground currently says that the high temperature in Fort Pierce, Florida was 92 degrees. Fort Pierce is 14 miles from Vero Beach, Florida.
On June 23, 2022, according to weather underground, the high temperature in Palm Bay, Florida was 95 degrees.
On June 22, 2022, weather underground says it was 86 degrees in Miami Beach, Florida, 145 miles south of Vero Beach.
On June 23, 2022, weather underground says it was 88 degrees in Miami Beach, Florida, 145 miles south of Vero Beach.
From June 22 to June 23, 2022, weather underground said that the high temperature in Vero Beach, Florida increased by 9.5%, from 84 degrees to 92 degrees.
From June 22 to June 23, 2022, weather underground said that the high temperature in Fort Pierce, Florida, 14 miles south of Vero Beach, increased by 9.5%, from 84 degrees to 92 degrees.
From June 22 to June 23, 2022, weather underground said that the high temperature in Miami Beach, Florida, 145 miles south of Vero Beach, increased by 2.3% , from 86 degrees to 88 degrees.
On June 22, the 84 degree high temperature in Vero Beach, Florida was 1.2% cooler than the 85 degree high temperature in Palm Bay, 30 miles to the North of Vero Beach.
On June 23, 2022, the 92 degree high temperature in Vero Beach, Florida was 3.2% cooler than the 95 degree high temperature in Palm Bay, 30 miles to the north of Vero Beach. When I started writing this story, weather underground said it was 87 degrees on June 23.
I e-mailed an advance version of this data table to a friend of mine. Less than 30 minutes later, the data had changed.
In June 2022, there was one day with a 23-degree temperature increase, the 23rd.
In June 2022, there were zero days with 22-degree in temperature increases.
In June 2022, there were zero days with 21-degree temperature increases.
In June 2022, there were zero days with 20-degree temperature increases.
In June 2022, there were three days with 19 degree temperature increases.
In June 2022, there was one day with an 18-degree temperature increase.
I believe this proves that the temperature on the 23rd was fraudulently increased by five degrees.
On June 23, 2022, 92 degree high temperature in Vero Beach was 4.5% warmer than the 88 degree high temperature in Miami Beach, 145 miles to the south.
On June 23, 2033, the 88 degree high temperature in Miami Beach was 7.4% lower than the 95 degree high temperature in Palm Bay, 175 miles to the north.
Why, on just one day, June 23, is it getting hotter as you go north in Florida? On a day that an all-time low temperature record is set in Vero Beach?
Why was the 9.5% increase in the high temperature in Vero Beach from the 22nd to the 23rd of June 313% greater than its 2.3% increase in Miami Beach during the same time period?
It has to be fabricated data, or scalar weather modification.
On July 25 and 26, 2022, the all-time U.S. precipitation record was broken by 29% , from 7.02 inches in 1915 to 9.07 inches in 2022. Storymaps.com omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new, and described it only-generally as “beating” the old record.
On July 26, 2022, St. Louis, Missouri’s rainfall record for the date increased by 1,310% , from .6 inches in some obfuscated previous year to 8.46 inches in 2022. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek omitted the percentage increase , describing it only as “breaking their previous record”. He also omitted the volume, describing it only as "by 7.77 inches ". He also omitted the year . Every single other story I found also omitted the year of the previous daily record.
On July 26, 2022, St. Louis, Missouri’s all-time rainfall record increased by 51%, from 5.59 inches in 1915 to 8.64 inches. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new, describing only-generally as “smashed their all-time record”. He also omitted the volume of the old record, describing it only-generally as “by 3.05 inches”. He also omitted the year of the previous record (1915).
Can you see how Scott described the 1,310% margin as “breaking”, and then described the 51% margin as “smashed”? That’s a devious bit of Black magic in which he’s waved his hands and pointed to the far-smaller margin, to distract you from the far larger margin. Do you see?
He and his rotten ilk refer to this sort of thing as “tradecraft”.
On July 26, 2022, Utgiagvik Alaska, formerly Barrow, had its rainiest day in history, with 1.42 inches, 42% greater than the previous record of 1 inch set on February 14, 1976.
On July 26, 2022, St. Louis, Missouri’s all-time rainfall record increased by 25%, from 6.89 inches in 1942 to 8.64 inches in 2022.
Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek lied bald-facedly and reduced the old rainfall record by 19%, from an actual 6.89 inches to a fraudulently-claimed 5.59 inches. He omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new, and described it only-generally as “by 3.05 inches”). He also omitted the year, 1942.
I have exposed his duplicity by using what was known in the old days as fact checking".

On April 11, 2022, Portland, Oregon had its first snowfall on that date in history (1.6 inches).
August 2022’s 10.68 inches of rain was the wettest on record in Dallas, Texas, 3.4% wetter than the previous record of 10.33 inches set in 2015. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek said “Dallas went 67 consecutive days without measurable rain – their second-longest dry streak behind an 85-day streak in 2000. The streak ended on Aug. 10 .”
On August 25, 2022, Death Valley, California had its first rainfall on that date in history.
On October 16, 2022, Seattle, Washington’s all-time high temperature record for the date increased by 22% , from 72 degrees to 88 degrees.

On December 21, 2022, Cheyenne, Wyoming recorded its largest half-hour temperature decrease on record, of 40 degrees.
A current article on infoplease.com headlined “Record Lowest Temperatures by State” omits the all-time low state temperature records from South Dakota in 2006, and Hawaii and Illinois from 2019.

On December 30, 2022, foxweather.com said “Relive some of the wackiest weather records set in 2022”.
We went back and found some of the more unusual weather records set this year, along with which towns had the “smash hits” of 2022.
Author Scott Sistek
The article goes on to say
“St. Louis set an all-time daily rainfall record of 8.64 inches on July 26, which was not only the No. 1 entry of beating a daily rainfall record among the nation’s larger cities – breaking their previous daily record by 7.77 inches – but also smashed their all-time record by 3.05 inches, ranking No. 1 in that regard as well.”
A current article on currentresults.com says “These records go back to 1893. During that time the heaviest downpour measured for a single day was 6.89 inches (175.0 millimetres) on July 9, 1942.”
We’ve now learned that, on July 26, 2022, St.
He omitted the percentage, and des scribed it only-generally as “by 3.05 inches”), in addition to omitting the year, 1942.
I have exposed his duplicity by using what was known in the old days as fact checking".
Another story on storymaps.com says “The 9.07” of rain that fell at the airport between July 25th and July 26th was the highest 24-hour rainfall total in the history of climate records in St. Louis, beating 7.02" on August 19th-20th, 1915 when the remnants of the Galveston Hurricane impacted the area."
On July 26, 2022, the all-time U.S. precipitation record was broken by 29%, from 7.02 inches in 1915 to 9.07 inches in 2022. Storymaps.com omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new, and described it only-generally as “beating” the old record.
On July 26, 2022, St. Louis, Missouri’s rainfall record for the date increased by 1,310%, from .6 inches in some obfuscated previous year to 8.46 inches in 2022. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek omitted percentage increase, describing it only as “breaking their previous record”. He also omitted the volume, describing it only as “by 7.77 inches”. He also omitted the year.
Scott’s article continues:
“The blizzard that hit New England on Jan. 29 reset snowfall records across the region, with Islip, New York, getting 23.5 inches of snow, besting its daily record of 1.5 inches – a record smash of better than 1,500%.”
On January 29, 2022, Islip, New York’s snowfall record for the date increased by 1,466%, from 1.5 inches to 23.5 inches. Bizarrely, Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek increased the margin by 2.3%, calling it “a record smash of better than 1500%”.
That may be Black magic - pretending to be “bad at math” to give the Coincidence theorist a straw to grasp in regard to all of his other blatant falsehoods.
Scott’s article goes on to say:
“Boston also broke its daily record by more than 20 inches, getting 23.6 inches on Jan. 29, whereas before 2022, the most snowfall recorded on the date was 3.1 inches.”
On January 29, 2022, Boston, Massachusetts snowfall record for the date increased by 661%, from 3.1 inches to 23.6 inches. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek omitted the percentage between the old record and the new, referring to it only generally as “by more than 20 inches”. He also omitted the year of the previous record.
Scott’s article continues:
“A blistering mid-autumn heatwave rewrote the record books across the Northwest, but Seattle took the top prize with a sweltering 88-degree high temperature – on Oct. 16. The previous record high was 72, and the 16-degree difference leads the way. This autumn, after Seattle hit 88, four days later, it was in the 50s, and Seattle has not reached 60 degrees since.”"
On October 16, 2022, Seattle, Washington’s all-time high temperature record for the date increased by 22%, from 72 degrees to 88 degrees.
Getting all the mileage he can out of this single, anomalous high temperature event, Scott’s article continues:
“Monterey, California, smashed its record high a few days later with a 91-degree reading on Oct. 19, breaking its previous record by 15 degrees.”
On October 19, 2022, Monterey, California’s all-time high temperature record for the date increased by 20%, from 76 degrees to 91 degrees.
Scott’s article continues:
“Butte, Montana, dropped to negative 6 degrees on April 13 – yes, weeks into spring – breaking its previous record low for the day of 10 degrees.”
On April 13, 2022, weeks into spring, Butte Montana’s all-time low temperature for the date decreased by 160%, from 10 degrees in 2001 to -6 degrees in 2022. Fox Weather’s Scott Sisek omitted the percentage decrease between the old record and the new, and described it only-generally as “breaking its previous record low”. He also omitted the year of the previous record.
Scott’s article continues:
“Casper, Wyoming, matched the drop in March when on the 10th, the temperature dropped to negative 25 degrees, breaking the old record of negative 9 degrees.”
Scott’s nauseating hit-piece staggers on like an undead zombie:
"Other wild weather records of 2022
Aside from traditional high and low-temperature records, plenty of other rare and exciting weather events occurred throughout the year as proof that Mother Nature strives to keep us on our toes.
The game-time temperature of 82 degrees at Los Angeles’ SoFi stadium made for the second-hottest Super Bowl on record, according to the NFL’s Pro Football Hall of Fame."
Where “rare”, “wild” and “exciting” all wave their hands to distract the reader from the steady progress of the environment back to health and vitality. Scott has thrown what little heat propaganda he can muster in there, but didn’t give the year of the previous Superbowl heat record, or what the temperature was, then, or what the margins between those records was. Those are all examples of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”. For the record, it was 1973. If the eight hottest years in history were 2014 through 2021, why was the hottest superbowl in history in 1973?
A. 2014 through 2021 were not the eight hottest years in history.
B. “Yeah, but that’s there”.
Scott’s next passage is particularly hilarious:
“The snow gauge at the University of California, Berkeley’s Central Sierra Snow Lab went blank for 37 consecutive days in early 2022, just weeks after setting a record for most snowfall in December at 202.1 inches.”
In December 2021, the University of California, Berkeley’s Sierra Snow Lab recorded the highest-ever snowfall for the month, at 202.1 inches. Then the lab’s snow gauge went blank for 37 consecutive days. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.
Then I had to do the math to learn that, in December 2022, the University of California at Berkeley’s Sierra Snow Lab’s, all-time snow record for the month increased by 13%, from 179 inches in 1970 to 202.1 inches in 2022.
Scott’s article goes on to say:
“Portland, Oregon, had its first measurable snowfall in April at 1.6 inches on April 11.”
On April 11, 2022, Portland, Oregon had its first snowfall on that date in history (1.6 inches).
Scott’s article continues:
“Between Jan. 5 and March 16, Denver observed snow on eight of 11 Wednesdays.” That’s just wild, hand-waving crap.
I had to look up a separate article to learn “January 2022 has provided Denver with 13.4 inches of snow. January tends to be one of our least snowy months of the snow season, so to come out ahead this month is really great news. The last time Denver saw more than a foot of snow in January was back in 2014 when 14.3 inches fell. Normally, only 6.5 inches of snow falls during this month.”
Then I had to do the math to learn that, in January 2022, snowfall in Denver, Colorado was 120% above average (14.3 inches vs. 6.5 inches). The Denver Post’s Andy Stein omitted the percentage increase between the old record and the new, and described it only-generally as "come out ahead".
Here’s Andy Stein’s picture, in front of a Satanic green background:

Can you see how the photograph is centered on his left eye? That’s because, to followers of the Left-hand path like Andy, the left eye is the “eye of Will” or the “eye of Horus”.
But don’t take my word for it:

From “Freemasonry - Religion And Belief - The 3rd Temple”
Facebook: “Welcome to the Left-Hand-Path-Network, where Satanism is not about worship, but it’s study.”
I have included Andy Stein’s photograph so that you could get a better idea of what a generational Satanist Freemason in a position of marginal influence looks like.
He figured that the rubes would never notice the coded visual imagery.
They are all related to one another through the maternal bloodline. They comprise between twenty and thirty percent of the populace, and are hiding in plain sight in every city, town and village on Earth. It’s how the few have controlled the many all the way back to Babylon, and before.
But they say that the hardest part of solving a problem is recognizing that you have one.
Don Croft used to say “Parasites fear exposure above all else”.
In March 2022, Denver snow total was 132% above average (16.7 inches vs. 7.2 inches).
Scott Sistek’s article goes on to say:
“Sioux City, Iowa, had just 4.4 inches of snow in the winter of 2021-22 – their least snowy winter on record.”
I had to look up a separate article to learn “Since December, a little under 4 inches of snow has fallen in Sioux City – making it around 20 inches below average for the season. That’s the third lowest snowfall the western Iowa city has seen since the late 1800s.”
I had to look up a separate article to learn: “Spring precipitation has been above average since 1990 (Figure 3a), which can make it difficult for farmers to plant crops. Summer and annual precipitation has also been above average since 2005.”
I have exposed the duplicity of Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
Scott’s article goes on to say “During a late spring day on May 10, Traverse City, Michigan, dropped from 88 to 57 in 10 minutes as a sea breeze pushed through. During a cold winter day on Dec. 21, Cheyenne, Wyoming, dropped from 43 degrees to 3 degrees in 30 minutes – their largest half-hour temperature drop on record.”
On December 21, 2022, Cheyenne, Wyoming recorded its largest half-hour temperature decrease on record, of 40 degrees.
Scott’s article goes on to say "Tallahassee, Florida, had its first freeze this season before Denver (h/t @Justin Marlatt
Birmingham, Alabama, had its first freeze before Billings, Montana."
In 2022, Tallahassee, Florida had its first freeze of the season before Denver, Colorado.
In 2022 Birmingham, Alabama had its first freeze before Billings, Montana.
Scott’s article goes on to say “Seattle had its driest 120-day stretch in city history this summer (0.54 inches). Portland, Oregon, went 67 days without measurable rain. The year will still finish above average for annual rainfall for both cities.”
I had to look up a separate article to learn “Average annual rainfall at Sea-Tac is 39.34 inches and 2022 brought in 40.27 inches for the year.”
Then I had to do the math to learn that, in 2022, Seattle, Washington’s precipitation was 2.5% above average (40.27 inches vs.
Scott Satanically inverted it, to try to paint a false picture of a climate that had something was wrong with the climate.
Scott’s article goes on to say:
“Daytona Beach, Florida, hit 100 degrees on June 23 — the first time they had hit 100 since 1999.”
It’s warming-hysteria. 100 in Florida in June and you are stoked.
I had to look up another article to learn:
“Vero Beach, Florida, set a record high (94 degrees - tie) and a record low (65) on June 23.”
then I looked up a different article, from the National Weather Service, where I learned:
"Vero Beach:
-
June 3rd: Tied record cool high of 79 degrees last set in 2020.
-
June 22nd: Tied record low of 68 degrees last set in 2008.
-
June 23rd: Tied record high of 94 degrees last set in 2020. Also,
set record low of 65 degrees. Previous record was 68 degrees last
set in 1977."
Now I’ll expose the bigger picture that Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek was obscuring:
In June, 2022, Vero Beach, Florida had three record low temperatures and one record high temperature.
On June 3, 2023, Vero Beach, Florida’s record low maximum temperature for the date was tied, with 2020, at 79 degrees.
On June 22, 2022, Vero Beach, Florida’s record low temperature for the date was tied, at 68 degrees, with 2008.
Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek claimed that, on June 23, 2022, Vero Beach, Florida’s high temperature record for the date remained unchanged, at 94 degrees, tying 2020. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek omitted the year of the previous record.
As you can see, the cold temperatures are getting colder, while the warm temperatures are remaining unchanged. Scott painted the picture in as devious a way as possible, so that you would think that the opposite was the case. I have exposed his duplicity by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
Before I do this fact checking, I’m going to state “I bet they lied about the record high in Vero Beach on June 23”.
Here we go:
Vero Beach is 30 miles south of Palm Bay, Florida. On June 22, 2022, the high temperature in Palm Bay, Florida was 85 degrees.
On June 23, 2022, the high temperature in Palm Bay, Florida was 95 degrees.
Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek inflated the high temperature in Vero Beach, Florida on June 23, 2022 by 2.1%, from an actual 92 degrees to a fraudulent, purportedly-record-tying 94 degrees. I have exposed his duplicity by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
Scott’s article goes on to say:
“Dallas went 67 consecutive days without measurable rain – their second-longest dry streak behind an 85-day streak in 2000. The streak ended on Aug. 10.”
I had to look up another article to learn that, "the month of August was the wettest August on record in Dallas-Fort Worth as the area saw a final total reach 10.68″ which broke 1915’s record of 10.33″.
August 2022’s 10.68 inches of rain was the wettest on record in Dallas, Texas, % wetter than the previous record of 10.33 inches set in 2015. Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek said “Dallas went 67 consecutive days without measurable rain – their second-longest dry streak behind an 85-day streak in 2000. The streak ended on Aug. 10.”
In 2022, Dallas, Texas’ rainfall was 25% below average (29.24 inches vs. 39.1 inches).
Scott’s article goes on to say "On Aug. 22, Dallas set their record for one-hour rainfall, netting 3.01 inches in an hour. (h/t @Justin Marlatt
Did you notice how Scott omitted the date of the previous record, the amount of the previous record, and the margin between the old record and the new? Those are all examples of the propaganda technique known as “comartmentalization”.
Scott’s article goes on to say “Utqiagvik, Alaska, (formerly known as Barrow) received 1.42 inches of rain on July 26 – their all-time wettest day and only the third time in history the town has had more than 1 inch of rain or rain-equivalent in a day. In contrast, sunny and warm Miami averages 18 days a year with 1 inch of rain or more.”
Can you see how Scott waved his hands to distract you from the fact that he omitted the volume of the previous record, along with the date of the previous record? Those are examples of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
I had to look up another article to learn “The wettest days on record are: 14 February 1976, 1 inches”.
Then I had to do the math to learn that, On July 26, 2022, Utgiagvik Alaska, formerly Barrow, had its rainiest day in history, with 1.42 inches, 42% greater than the previous record of 1 inch set on February 14, 1976.
Scott’s article goes on to say:
“On Dec. 6, Utqiagvik set their all-time winter “heat” record at 40 degrees.”
Can you see how Scott waved his hands to distract you from the fact that he omitted the volume of the previous record, along with the date of the previous record? Those are examples of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
I had to look up another article to learn “formerly known as Barrow, Utqiagvik’s high soared to 40 degrees Monday morning, smashing the town’s previous December record of 34 degrees set on Dec. 9, 1932.”
Then I had to do the math to learn that, on December 6, 2022, Utqiagvik, Alaska, formerly Barrow set it all-time high temperature record for the month of December with 40 degrees, 18% greater than the previous record of 34 degrees set on December 9, 1932.
Scott’s article goes on to say “A hailstone measuring 4.84 inches in diameter was found near Markerville, Alberta, on Aug. 1, setting the Canadian national record for the largest hailstone. The American record is a 7-inch hailstone found in Vivian, South Dakota.”
Can you see how Scott waved his hands and pointed to the American record, to distract you from the fact that he’d omitted the size of the previous Canadian record hailstone, along with when it fell, and what the margin was between the old record and the new? Those are all examples of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
So I had to look up another article to learn “Canada’s largest hailstone ever recorded comes in at 292.71 grams, beating the previous record by 2.71 grams.” " Previous record, 290 grams, 114 mm, Cedoux, SK, July 31, 1973."
Then I had to do the math, three times, to learn that, on August 1, 2022, Canada’s hailstone record increased in size by 8%, from 4.49 inches to 4.84 inches.
On December 30, 2022, foxweather.com’s Scott Sistek said “On Aug. 5, 1.46 inches of rain fell in Death Valley, just 0.01 inches off the all-time wettest day. The world-record holder for the hottest spot on the planet averages just over 2 inches of rain in a year. Rain fell again two weeks later on Aug. 25 – the first time in their weather records (since 1911) that measurable rain fell on that date. Three months later, a trace of rain would fall on Nov. 3 – also a first for the date.”
Wait, what? A current National Park Service article says “August 5, 2022 recognized as rainiest day in Death Valley’s history. Death Valley National Park received 1.70 inches of rain on August 5, 2022, making this the Park’s rainiest day on record.”
Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek lied bald-facedly and reduced the rainfall by 14% from an actual 1.7 inches to a fabricated 1.46 inches, to avoid saying “most precipitation in history”. I have exposed his duplicity by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
On August 7, 2022, the Los Angeles Times said “Destructive rain in Death Valley, flooded Vegas casinos mark a summer of extreme weather”.
Where the Los Angeles Times’ Alex Wigglesworth wrote the headline in a way where it cannot be discerned that the article is about the rainiest day in the history of Death Valley, California.
Alex hid a climate returning to life and vitality behind the standard Mil-speak code meme “extreme weather”.
The article goes on to say “Rainfall totaling 1.46 inches was recorded at Furnace Creek Visitors Center on Friday, surpassing the Aug. 5 record of 1.10 inches set in 1936.”
Can you see how Alex hedged by putting the general “surpassing” in place of the far more impactful, specific percentage increase between the old record and the new?
Despite Alex’s tireless hedging and obfuscation, we’ve nonethless now learned that, despite getting paid six figures to write about weather for a major network, Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek has once again lied bald-facedly and inflated the previous Death Valley rainfall record by 37%, from an actual 1.1 inches to a fabricated 1.47 inches. He did that, of course, to avoid having to say “most precipitation in history”, even factoring in the Feds’ fake 1.46 number which they were forced to redact in the face of protest by honest people within the Parks system.
I have once again exposed the duplicity of Fox Weather’s Scott Sistek by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
I have exposed the duplicity of the National Park Service, Fox Weather and their toady Scott Sistek by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
On August 25, 2022, rain fell in Death Valley, California for the first time on that date in history.
On November 3, 2022, rain fell in Death Valley, California for the first time on that date in history.
The article ends with a couple of bullshit heat-hysteria statistics:
"San Angelo, Texas, set a record for their town that no one wants: Reaching 100 degrees or hotter for 37 consecutive days.
The top 5 hottest dates in September on record in Salt Lake City occurred within the same week this year."
