”Besides these, I have found five curiosities in Scotland, not much observed to be elsewhere: (i) the brownies, who in some families clean the houses as drudges clean the houses and dishes after all go to bed, taking with him his portion of food and removing before daybreak; (ii) the Mason Word which, though some make a mystery of it, I will not conceal a little of what I know - it’s like a rabbinical tradition in a way of comment on Jachin and Boaz, the two pillars erected in Solomon’s Temple, with an addition of some secret sign delivered by hand to hand by which they know and become familiar one with another;"

In the image immediately above, the Scottish Rite Freemason on the right is using a gesture of recognition that means that he wants to “rock on”, or “Hail, Satan!”, depending upon one’s perspective. I’m afraid that, given the historical context, we’re going to have to throw out “support for the Texas Lonhorns football team” or saying “I love you” in American Sign Language.
They’re using conscious deception while retaining the firmness of purpose that go with complete honesty.
THE DATA
From May to June 2022, Michigan’s internet sports betting revenue decreased by 78%.
From May to June 2022, Michigan’s total internet and sports betting receipts decreased by 15%.
From May to June 2022, Michigan’s sports betting revenue decreased by 5%.
The uncredited author from Michigan.gov omitted the percentages, and said only that revenue had “declined”.
In October 2022, sports gambling revenue in Mississippi decreased by 20%. Wlbt.com’s Joseph Doehring omitted the percentage, and said only-generally that “Mississippi’s sports wagering revenue drops in staggering percentage .”
As a bonus, he gymnastically used the hilarious "wagering " to redact “gambling”, and make the subject far less searchable. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
In November 2022, directly in the face of gambling rates decreasing exponentially regardless of culture or geography, yogonet.com’s Ayvar Gabidullin said “The gambling industry is expected to keep growing in 2023.”
From November to December 2022, sports betting revenue in West Virginia decreased by 4.3%, from $69 million to $66 million. Covers.com’s Brad Senkiw omitted the percentage, and referred to it only generally as "down ", and that it was a "drop in handle ".
Where, under the false guise of familiarity, Brad used the insider term "handle " to redact the more-searchable “revenue”. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
From 2022 to 2023, sports betting in Indiana is projected to decrease by 9% , from $4.5 billion to $4.1 billion. Playindiana.com’s Jake Garza omitted the percentage, and described the decrease only as "noticeable ".

THE ARTICLES
On July 19, 2022, Michigan.gov said “Michigan internet gaming and sports betting operators report combined $136.9 million June total gross receipts”.
Where, despite getting paid cash money to write about gambling for a living, the curiously-uncredited author from the state of Michigan managed to entitle an article about exponentially decreasing gambling in Michigan in a way where that fact cannot be discerned.
For those unaware, anytime an author is uncredited, said author is an Intelligence operative.
They wrote “report combined $136.9 million June total gross receipts" because, as a propagandist, they know that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential scope of the decrease in gambling that I’m documenting here. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
As a bonus, the wrote “June total gross receipts” to redact 2022, to make the subject far less searchable. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
The article goes on to say:
"Michigan commercial and tribal operators in June reported a combined $136.9 million total gross internet receipts and gross sports betting receipts. Receipts declined by 14.9% compared with May results of $160.9 million.
Internet gaming gross receipts for June were $121.5 million, falling 4.6% from the $127.4 million reported in May. Gross sports betting receipts were $15.4 million compared with $33.5 million in May for a 54.2% decrease.
Combined total adjusted gross receipts and adjusted gross sports betting receipts were $114.4 million, including $109.4 million from internet gaming and $5 million from internet sports betting. Monthly internet gaming adjusted gross receipts declined 4.6% from May, and internet sports betting adjusted gross receipts dropped 77.6%."
There’s a strict rule in journalism, where you list the highest number or percentage first, and then the rest in descending order. Here the uncredited Intelligence operative from the state of Michigan brazenly inverted it, and led with the lowest, 19%.
Here’s how it’s supposed to look:
From May to June 2022, Michigan’s internet sports betting revenue decreased by 78%.
From May to June 2022, Michigan’s total internet and sports betting receipts decreased by 15%.
From May to June 2022, Michigan’s sports betting revenue decreased by 5%.
The uncredited author from Michigan.gov omitted the percentages, and said only that revenue had “declined”.
On October 19, 2022, wlbt.com said "Mississippi sports wagering revenue drops in staggering percentage ".
Where author Joseph Doehring used “drops in staggering percentage” because, as a propagandist, they know that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and their hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential scope of the decrease in gambling that I’m documenting here.
As a bonus, he gymnastically used the hilarious “wagering” to redact “gambling”, and make the subject far less searchable. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
His article goes on to say “Mississippi, however, has seen a decrease in sports wagering revenue, where mobile sports betting is not legalized.”
Where “has seen a decrease”, keeps it general, puts it firmly in the past tense, and walks it back a step from Mississippi actually experiencing it.
Joseph bravely soldiers on to say “According to the executive director of the Mississippi Gaming Commission Jay McDaniel, he says there’s been about a 20% decrease in sports wagering revenue across the Magnolia State casinos.”

On November 30, 2022, directly in the face of exponentially decreasing gambling rates occurring regardless of culture or geography, yogonet.com said “Gambling industry trends in 2023: an overview from Slotegrator”.
Where author Ayvar Gabidullin used “gambling industry trends” because, as a propagandist, they know that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and their hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential scope of the decrease in gambling that I’m documenting here.
Directly in the face of exponentially decreasing gambling rates occurring regardless of culture or geography, Ayvar goes on to say “The gambling industry is expected to keep growing in 2023.”

On January 11, 2023, covers.com said “West Virginia Reports Largest Monthly Sports Betting Revenue, Despite Drop in Handle”.
Where author Brad Senkiw wrote “drop in handle" because, as a propagandist, he knows that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential scope of the decrease in gambling that I’m documenting here. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
The article goes on to say “The state took in nearly $66 million in tickets, which was down from the $69 million in the previous month, but West Virginia sports betting operators enjoyed a hold percentage of 13.18% — the fifth time in the last six months the win rate has been over 10%.”
Undeterred by the huge decrease in gambling revenue, the folks in charge in Virginia simply made some changes in the code to boost their profitability.
From November to December 2022, sports betting revenue in West Virginia decreased by 4.3%, from $69 million to $66 million. Covers.com’s Brad Senkiw omitted the percentage, and referred to it only generally as “down”, and that it was a “drop in handle”.

On January 12, 2023, playindiana.com said “Projection: Indiana Sports Betting Will Drop To $4.1 Billion In Bets During 2023”.
Where, despite getting paid cash money to write about gambling for a living, author Jake Garza managed to entitle an article about exponentially decreasing gambling in Indiana in a way where that fact cannot be discerned.
He wrote “sports betting will drop to $4.1 billion" because, as a propagandist, he knows that seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential scope of the decrease in gambling that I’m documenting here. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
Did you notice that he gymnastically used the word “betting” to redact “gambling”, to make the subject far less searchable? That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
Then, in journalistic parlance, Jake “buried” this seven paragraphs below:
“A $4.1 billion handle is certainly nothing to sneeze at, but it’s still a noticeable decline from 2022, when PlayIndiana estimates that residents bet about $4.5 billion on sports.”
For grade school children studying the subject in the future, asking the average American in 2023 to read seven paragraphs on gambling in Indiana is like asking someone from the 1800’s to memorize the Declaration of Independence.
From 2022 to 2023, sports betting in Indiana is projected to decrease by 9%, from $4.5 billion to $4.1 billion. Playindiana.com’s Jake Garza omitted the percentage, and described the decrease only as “noticeable”.
Here’s Jake Garza’s picture, widening his eyes to simulate honesty:
