In the 2nd Quarter of 2022, sports betting in Spain decreased by 34%, year-over-year. Casino.org's Erik Gibbs said it was because "Spain has been modifying its gambling laws, which have cut into advertising and sponsorships."

“As my sufferings mounted, I soon realized that there were two ways in which I could respond to my situation – either to react with bitterness or seek to transform the suffering into a creative force. I decided to follow the latter course.”

THE DATA

From the 1st Quarter to the 2nd Quarter of 2017, the number of registered online gambling users in Spain decreased by 4%.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2017, Baccarat gambling in Spain decreased by 45%, year-over-year.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2017, the number of registered online gambling users in Spain decreased by 10%, year-over-year.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2017, gambling revenue in Spain decreased by 5%, year-over-year.

The uncredited author from reviewed-casinos.com offered no suggestion whatsoever as to what was driving the sudden, exponential decrease in gambling in Spain.

That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.

For those late to the party, anytime an author is uncredited, it is proof that said author is an Intelligence operative.

In 2021, other counterpart bets in Spain decreased by 70%.

In 2021, Spain’s betting segment decreased by 16%.

Directly in the face of the exponentially-decreasing gambling in Spain which I’ve documented above, Casino.org’s Erik Gibbs widened his eyes to simulate honesty and said “Spain’s gaming industry has been strong”, and “casino activity up”, and then went on to make no mention as to what was driving the sudden, exponential, historically-unprecedented decreases in gambling in Spain.

That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.

In the 1st Quarter of 2022, gambling revenue in Spain decreased by 15%, year-over-year. Casino.org’s Erik Gibbs widened his eyes to simulate honesty and described it as “a slow first quarter”.

From the 1st Quarter to the 2nd Quarter of 2022, sports betting in Spain decreased by 7%, year-over-year.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2022, sports betting in Spain decreased by 34%, year-over-year.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2022, live betting in Spain decreased by 23%, year-over-year.

Casino.org’s Erik Gibbs said that gambling revenue in Spain decreased suddenly and exponentially in 2022 because “Spain has been modifying its gambling laws, which have cut into advertising and sponsorships.”

They’re desperate to keep you from recognizing that gambling is decreasing exponentially regardless of culture or geography because moral and mental health vary directly with that of the subject’s etheric environment.

THE ARTICLES

In July 2017, reviewed-casinos.com said “Second Quarter 2017 data published by Spain’s gambling regulator Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego shows a 4.51 percent decline in gross gaming revenue compared to the previous quarter”.

The article goes on to say “Registered users have decreased to reach 603,220 – 3.94 percent down compared to the first quarter and a decrease of 10.29 percent y-o-y.”

From the 1st Quarter to the 2nd Quarter of 2017, the number of registered online gambling users in Spain decreased by 4%.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2017, the number of registered online gambling users in Spain decreased by 10%, year-over-year.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2017, gambling revenue in Spain decreased by 5%, year-over-year.

In April 2022, casino.org said “Spain’s Online Gaming Revenue Lost Four Percent Last Year, But Casino Activity Up”.

Where author Erik Gibbs used the general “casino activity up

Erik bravely soldiers on: "The betting segment had a decrease rate compared to the previous year of -16.23%. This was due primarily to conventional and live sports betting, which decreased in 2021 by 14.21% and 13.58%, respectively.

These two historically represent the vast majority of the betting market. In 2021, the market for “Other Counterpart Bets” also decreased by -69.93%, while horserace bets presented losses of €4.48 million (US$4.95 million)."

Erik spewed out a bunch of boring statistics to avoid plainly stating "in 2021, Spain’s betting segment decreased by 16%.

And “in 2021, other counterpart bets in Spain decreased by 70%.”

As a bonus, he put a monetary figure in place for horseracing, so that you wouldn’t have anything to compare it to. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.

On September 13, 2022, casino.org said “Spain’s Q2 Gaming Revenue Dips as Gambling Reform Approaches”.

Where author Erik Gibbs used the general “gaming revenue dips” because it’s softer than dropped or decreased, but mostly because it is general.

As a propagandist, Erik knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential decrease in gambling I’m documenting here.

He put “as Gambling reform approaches” on the end to provide a bullshit plausible-deniability excuse for the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader. As a propagandist, Erik has been trained that many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

Casino.org and their author Erik Gibbs are desperate to keep you from recognizing that gambling is decreasing exponentially regardless of culture or geography because moral and mental health vary directly with that of the subject’s etheric environment.

The article goes on to say “Spain’s gaming industry has been strong, but is slipping this year. After a slowfirst quarter, the second quarter also delivered year-on-year declines.”

It’s a masterful bit of what people who write such things for a living call “tradecraft”. Well, masterful if you consider taking candy from babies masterful.

I say that because Spain’s gambling industry has not been in any way, strong. It has decreased exponentially for two consecutive quarters. In the 1st Quarter of 2022, gambling revenue in Spain decreased by 15%. Casino.org’s Erik Gibbs widened his eyes to simulate honesty and described it as “a slow first quarter”.

That’s why the article goes on to say “Q1 of 2022 brought a 14.83% year-on-year drop in gross gaming revenue (GGR), with its take of €204.4 million (US$215.17 million). The second-quarter total, according to the General Directorate and Game Regulation (DGOJ, for its Spanish acronym), was €203.9 million (US$207.36 million). This represents a decrease of 5.5% from the same quarter last year.”

Erik spewed out a bunch of boring statistics to avoid plainly stating "In the 2nd Quarter of 2022, gambling revenue in Spain decreased by 5.5%, year over year.

At the same time, user deposits and withdrawals increased 0.55% and 9.82%, respectively, compared to Q1. New registrations lost 5.45%, and companies spent 4.76% less on marketing than in the previous quarter.

Erik bravely soldiers on with “Sports Betting Weighs Down Market”.

This will be rich.

“The sports betting segment decreased by 6.69% compared to the previous quarter. It was 33.78% less than it was a year earlier. Conventional fixed-odds sports bets increased by 15.21%, while live bets decreased by 23.09% compared to the previous quarter. Standing out among the rest, fixed-odds horserace betting increased by 172.61%.”

It’s another shifty bit of sleigh-of-hand, in which Erik waves his arms and points away from the 7% decrease in sports betting, to draw your attention away from the 23% decrease in live betting that, in journalistic parlance, he’s “buried” in the paragraph below.

From the 1st Quarter to the 2nd Quarter of 2022, sports betting in Spain decreased by 7%, year-over-year.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2022, live betting in Spain decreased by 23%, year-over-year.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2022, sports betting in Spain decreased by 34%, year-over-year.

Casino.org’s Erik Gibbs said that gambling revenue in Spain decreased suddenly and exponentially in 2022 because “Spain has been modifying its gambling laws, which have cut into advertising and sponsorships.”
