In the face of catastrophically-decreasing demand, the marijuana industry in Arkansas has united to increase people using by exponentially decreasing the price of their product. So much for laissez-faire Capitalism and the Law of Supply and Demand

Sherlock: I’ve been neglecting my hobby. I’m going to visit Swirl-Theory.com and discuss conspiracy theories.

Watson: Your hobby is conspiracy theories?

Sherlock: No, of course not. They’re pure sophistry. Large groups of people cannot keep secrets. My hobby is conspiracy theorists. I adore them, as one with a barmy uncle or a pet that can’t stop walking into walls.

From the T.V. show “Elementary”, posted on Reddit’s “r/conspiratard” subgroup

sophistry - noun - the use of fallacious arguments, especially with the intention of deceiving.

Here, fantastically, the uncredited propagandist from the T.V. show “Elementary” has used sophistry to claim that conspiracy theories are pure sophistry.

It is an example of what is known as a “Black magic spell”.

I am breaking it here with the White magic of truth.

THE DATA

In July 2023, marijuana sales in Arkansas totaled $23.2 million.

In July 2023, marijuana sales volume in Arkansas totaled 5,157 pounds.

From January to July 2024, marijuana sales in Arkansas decreased by 3.7%, year-over-year, from $164.6 minion to $158.5 million.

The uncredited Intelligence operative from the State propaganda organ known as kait8.com withheld the percentage, and described it as “as slight dip”, which falsely infers that prices will climb right back up again.

When, in fact, in July 2024, the 1.2% year-over-year decrease in marijuana sales in Arkansas was 100% greater, or twice as great as their .6% average monthly year-over-year decrease from January to July 2024.

I have exposed the duplicity of kait8.com by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.

From January to July 2024, year-over-year marijuana sales in Arkansas decreased by a monthly average of .6%.

From January to July 2024, marijuana sales in Arkansas totaled 42,602 pounds.

In July 2024, marijuana sales volume in Arkansas increased by 25.6%, year-over-year, from 5,157 pounds to 6,476 pounds.

In July 2024, the 1.2% year-over-year decrease in marijuana sales in Arkansas was 100% greater, or twice as great as their .6% average monthly year-over-year decrease from January to July 2024.

In July 2024, marijuana sales in Arkansas decreased by 1.2%, year-over-year, from $23.2 million to $22.9 million.

In July 2024, marijuana sales in Arkansas totaled $22.9 million.

In July 2024, marijuana sales volume in Arkansas totaled 6,467 pounds.

A 25.6% year-over-year increase in sales volume shows increased demand, which should increase prices. Yet prices decreased by a gigantic margin.

They sold one-fourth more marijuana, but made 1.2% less money? What gives?

In the face of exponentially-decreasing demand, the marijuana industry in Arkansas has united to increase people using by exponentially decreasing the price of their product. So much for laissez-faire Capitalism and the Law of Supply and Demand.

THE ARTICLES

AUGUST 2023

On August 28, 2023, katv.com’s Madison Hardcastle said “Medical marijuana patients spent $23.2 million in July to buy 5,157 pounds of medical marijuana, according to an Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration spokesperson.”

In July 2023, marijuana sales in Arkansas totaled $23.2 million.

In July 2023, marijuana sales volume in Arkansas totaled 5,157 pounds.

Wait, what? They sold one-fourth more marijuana, but made 1.2% less money? What gives?

A 25.6% year-over-year increase in sales volume shows increased demand, which should increase prices. Yet prices decreased by a gigantic margin.

AUGUST 2024

On August 23, 2024, kait8.com said “Money spent on medical marijuana in Arkansas down in 2024”.

Where the uncredited author said “down” because it is general.

For those unaware, anytime an author is uncredited, it is proof that said author is an Intelligence operative.

The uncredited Intelligence operative from the State propaganda organ known as kait8.com went on to say “Money spent on medical marijuana in Arkansas has seen a slight dip so far in 2024.”

Where “seen” a slight dip walks it back a step from Arkansas actually experiencing it.

The propagandist walked Marijuana sales back to “money spent”. They said “dip” because it’s softer than “decreased”, and because dips are shallow and infer that sales will climb back up. “Slight” dip mitigates. The hopeful “so far in 2024” implies, once again, that sales will climb back up.

The people who write like this for a living proudly call it “tradecraft”.

The article goes on to say “According to data released by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration on Friday, Aug. 23, a total of $22.9 million was spent at the state’s 37 dispensaries in July to buy 6,467 pounds of product. This would bring the total for 2024 to $158.5 million and 42,602 pounds. Sales for the same period in 2023 (Jan. to July) were $164.6 million.”

Here, the propagandist has carefully obscured the percentage decrease to “bring the total to”. They’ve walked “marijuana” back to “product” to make the subject less searchable.

So, I had to do the math.

From January to July 2024, marijuana sales in Arkansas decreased by 3.7%, year-over-year, from $164.6 minion to $158.5 million.

The uncredited Intelligence operative from the State propaganda organ known as kait8.com withheld the percentage, and described it as “as slight dip”.

The propagandist carefully omitted the figures from July 2023, so that the reader would not learn that, in July 2024, the 1.2% year-over-year decrease in marijuana sales in Arkansas was 100% greater, or twice as great as their .6% average monthly year-over-year decrease from January to July 2024.

I have exposed the duplicity of kait8.com by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.

In July 2024, 6,467 pounds of marijuana were sold in Arkansas.

From January to July 2024, marijuana sales in Arkansas totaled 42,602 pounds.

The propagandist from kait8.com omitted the sales volume from January to July 2023.

So, I had to research another article.
