Richard Rosenfeld, criminal justice professor emeritus at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, attributed the sudden, simultaneous decreases in murder across the United States to "The more people in the street, the more people difficult it is for somebody to commit a crime because there are so many eyes on the street.”

Where, with “seen”, Ashley bravely but falsely implies that crime had been down in Little Rock previously, however the Police Department had not looked for it with the proper skill or assiduousness previously.

If just 30% make it to the body text, what do you think the percentage is who get past the subhead? The repetition of a headline and a subhead is basically an urgent command to the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader to stop reading immediately and move to the next story.
