From 2015 to 2022, the homicide rate in El Salvador decreased by 97% , from 103 per 100,000 to 2.6 per 100,000.
From 2015 to 2018, the homicide rate in El Salvador decreased by 52% , from 103 per 100,000 to 50 per 100,000.
From 2021 to 2022, murders in El Salvador decreased by 56.84%, to 495. It was the lowest murder rate in the nation’s history.
From January 1 to April 9, 2023, homicides in El Salvador decreased by 86.7%, year-over-year, from 332 to 44, the lowest level in history.
From January 1 to April 9 2023, the .4-per-100,000 daily homicide rate in El Salvador was 85% less than the 2.6-per-100,000 rate there in 2022.
The Salvadoran government said it was because of “the Territorial Control Plan and Estate of Exception since 2019*.”
If El Salvador’s “Territorial Control Plan” began in 2019, then what caused homicides in El Salvador to decrease by more than half from 2015 to 2018?
El Salvador is falsely claiming that its mechanistic efforts from 2019 to present had anything at all to do with the great positive societal change that had been demonstrably underway there for several years previously. It’s the sort of thing that NPR addicts in El Salvador don’t notice, just like here.
In the first two months of 2023, homicides in Portland, Oregon decreased by 53%, year-over-year, from 19 to 9.
In the first two months of 2023, shootings in Portland, Oregon decreased by 35%, year-over-year, from 245 to 160.
Koin.com’s Jim Redden said “It is unclear why homicides and shootings have fallen so much.”
Jim said “fallen” as a thinly-veiled reference to the fallen Lord Lucifer.
THE ARTICLES
On March 2, 2023, koin.com said “2023 has fewer homicides, shootings than last year, police say.”
Where, under the false guise of familiarity, author Jim Redden omitted the words “Portland” and “Oregon”, to make the subject completely unsearchable. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
Jim said “fewer homicides, shootings” because, as a propagandist, he knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential speed and scope of the decrease in violent crime which he is attempting to obfuscate.
He tacked the snide “police say” on the end to give the subconscious of the Coincidence theorist reader the green light to say “oh, but those Portland police will say anything!”
As a propagandist, Jim knows that many or most readers will grasp virtually any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.
The article goes on to say “Homicides and shootings in Portland dropped dramatically during the first two months of 2023 compared to the same period last year, and compared to the most recent figures released by the Portland Police Bureau.”
Where author Jim Redden said “dropped dramatically” because he knows that, with each passing paragraph, the odds get higher that the Coincidence theorist reader will bail, prior to getting to any data that could provide specific insight into the speed and magnitude of the decrease in violent crime which Jim is attempting to obfuscate.
The article goes on to say "According to the police, nine people were killed in Portland in January and February of this year, most by shootings. That compares to 19 during the first two months of 2022 — a 53% decrease.
Police responded to 160 shootings in the first two months of 2023. That compares to 245 in the same period last year — a 35% decrease".

On April 10, 2023, elsalvadorinfo.net said “Living in El Salvador - El Salvador Homicide Rate (2010-2023). The daily murder rate for 2023 is 0.4”.
Where author Eddie Galdamez wrote the headline in such a way as to obscure the fact that the story is about exponentially decreasing homicides in El Salvador. It’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
The subhead goes on to say “El Salvador has reached 70 days with zero homicides in 2023!”
Since Eddie hasn’t provided any context, it’s another blatant example of the propaganda technique known as “compartmentalization”.
