Where, under the false guise of familiarity, the headline makes no mention of geography. I literally had to look up another story to learn that they're talking about Salibury, Maryland. "Delmarva" is as close as the article gets you. This is an example
of a propaganda technique called "compartmentalization".

But another set of readers, the upright but previously-uninformed, are going to assimilate the information and move on the better for it.

the coldest month of the year with respect to the monthly average, beating April's cold departure by 0.1 degree, the reality is August was likely warmer than average as all nearby climate sites were, including Glens Falls (+0.9 degrees,) Poughkeepsie
(+3.1 degrees,) Bennington, VT (+1.8 degrees,) and Pittsfield, MA (+2.2 degrees).
