“Why you fool, it’s the educated reader who CAN be gulled. All our difficulty comes with the others. When did you meet a workman who believes the papers? He takes it for granted that they’re all propaganda and skips the leading articles. He buys his paper for the football results and the little paragraphs about girls falling out of windows and corpses found in Mayfair flats. He is our problem. We have to recondition him. But the educated public, the people who read the high-brow weeklies, don’t need reconditioning. They’re all right already. They’ll believe anything.”

Before I begin, a warm welcome to Maria, who brings the readership to 30.
As you can see from the set of headlines immediately above, the folks in charge are not your friends, and are lying to you about basically everything, including the collapse of the Personal Computing Device Market.
An article on the subject, appended below, avers that “The COVID-19 outbreak is expected to stress the short-term scenario with shipments declining 10.6% year over year in the first half of 2020. Global smartphone shipments are expected to return to growth in 2021 driven by accelerated 5G efforts.”
In a bold, brazen play, they’ve given themselves a whole year’s-worth of excuses for the collapsing ‘smart’ phone market, via their government-engineered Virus.
They’re trying their best to stop you from realizing that the populace has recognized that technology has been weaponized against it.
That’s why the tablet market is also collapsing, along with the phone market. An article below on that subject says that “The global decline in tablet shipments indicates that most mobile users are phone users first and tablet users last by a long stretch .”
This story was written just a month ago, so it’s curious that " Coronavirus did it! " is not also put forward as the excuse for dropping tablet sales. The suggestion that, despite their protective masks, virus fearers are still too afraid to go phone shopping is illogical, and irrational.
The author know no one would buy it, so they suggested that everyone is buying so many phones that they aren’t buying as many tablets .
And it’s not just phones and tablets. Technology is collapsing, period. Another current news story below shows how Swiss technology outfit Kudelski, which provides services under the Nagra brand, saw a 10% drop in digital Television revenue last year. Actually, you won’t learn that number by reading the article, because the author gave you the numbers, but hedged by deliberately withholding the much-more-impactful percentage decrease between them. So I had to do the math.
There’s no mention in that article, from just a week ago, about virus-fearers suddenly watching 10% less digital television, while wearing protective masks. Instead, the author said, with a straight face, that the double-digit drop was “mostly due to trends in emerging markets .”
Can you see how everything about that statement is general ? As you may recall, generality is a hallmark of propaganda.
The author is using conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty.
Lying pathologically is not a good long term strategy, as the Boy Who Cried Wolf found out after releasing several iterations of his bullshit wolf story.
The 2020 Edelman Trust Barometer report was just released. It shows that the U.S. saw a 7% drop in trust in technology in the last year.
That’s see-the-needle-moving, freefall speed. That is a Going Out Of Business number. Technology is collapsing, disappearing, like frost on a spring morning.
The Barometer goes on:
SOCIETAL LEADERS NOT TRUSTED TO ADDRESS CHALLENGES
“I do not have confidence that our current leaders will be able to successfully address our country’s challenges”
Religious leaders - 46%
Government leaders - 42%
The very wealthy - 36%
That’s active distrust of the bloodline-linked crime family of Illuminists holding every one of those positions, in all the nations. They’re marked in red on the report, it’s a wonderful thing to see.
The Edelman survey describes “Two different trust realities”
“Informed public - 3 of 4 institutions trusted”. Unmentioned, and buried in a separate table, is the fact that Government is the one that’s not trusted, even by those most heavily programmed.
“Mass population - no institutions trusted”. Unmentioned is that Government and the Media are actively distrusted . That’s also buried in a separate table.
Burying the information in a separate table is a propaganda technique called " compartmentalization ."
" Informed public " is a meme for “wholly-credulous, duped rubes”.
I just shared the “no institutions trusted” statistic with my wife, who said " who don’t they trust?" I replied “the people up on the podiums, in all the nations.”
“The Boy Who Cried Wolf” was trying to run a confidence game on his fellow townspeople. He gained their trust, then falsely claimed that there was a wolf, again and again, when there was never any wolf. Until the rubes in the village finally got wise, the second or third time he told them the same bullshit story.
The big picture from this year’s Edelman Trust Barometer: “Mass population 14 points less trusting”. Less trusting of the people up on the podiums, speaking in various languages and wearing various outfits.
That’s a Going Out of Business metric for the bloodline-linked Illuminist crime family that has run things in all the nations, we’ll, all the way back to Babylon, and before.
And that, my friends, is a great, epochal positive change.
