Well, this is my first post. I have been reviewing the work of the gifting community, and have been exposed to the benefits of orgonite. I’m posting today to provide info on a project to install a cell tower in a local park. In order for this project to be approved by the local boards and commissions, the project needs approval by the recreation board (to allow the provider to locate in the park), and the planning commission (who needs to approve a “conditional use permit”). I’ve disliked cell towers for a long while, but prior to meeting don and Carol it was purely for reasons related to what i call “littering up the landscape.”
After reviewing lots of the material, i have a new reason to dislike cell towers. The Cell tower application has to come by my desk and I will be working with the applicants prepping for a decision by the planning folks, that is, if the recreation and parks board approves their offer for a lease. The Cell tower company came in with a ridiculously low ball offer for renting space… easy pickin’s for them because local budgets are hurting so much and these offers are seen as golden eggs……
anyway, the point of the post is to let everyone know I’m going to post from time to time, and in this case hopefully get some good input and support to (hopefully) nip this potential cell tower at the bud and perhaps provide some insight as to how these projects come about, and whats in the plans if its interesting.
