I don’t have another source either but I’d love to hear about one if someone does.
Since I believe US Composites simply repackage (all this stuff comes in 55 gal drums), perhaps the only way to find it cheaper is to buy a full drum but thats one heck of a lot of resin.
Way I look at it, though still expensive, all things considered, buying a 5 gallon drum of the GP resin from them, even considering shipping plus HAZMAT fees, basically gets you a free gallon of resin as compared to buying locally at Lowes or Home Depot prices.
I wish I could find an inexpensive local source though.

You may want to look in the areas where they repair or make or work on fibreglass BOATS. I find the port of Aberdeen a great place to buy resin here in Hong Kong. They do a lot of boat repair there so use bulk resin. It’s a LOT cheaper than going to a building supply shop. That’s my experience here but it may be different in the USA.
All the best…hkj
http://www.boatfix.com , I managed to get 5 gallons there for about $160 but maybe that was just a special they were having at the time, I can’t find it again.
Browse through froogle.com , search term 5 gallon resin.

Froogle will take you to all the obscure sales websites you’ve never heard of. There is a risk, and there is a reward.
It worked out for me, but requires discernment.

This is the cheapest I could find for 5 gallons. Any Opinions? Or Warnings!? [Image Can Not Be Found];
U.S. Composites make many types of AWESOME resin that is very easy and dependable to work with even if you are a beginner. It seeps through metal shavings quicker and more efficiently than most other brands making it easy to produce fine pieces of orgonite. It’s very easy to mix (the hardener/catalyst) and hard to mess up and only takes a little practice. SHHHHHHHHHHHH [Image Can Not Be Found]
WHOOPS!
Louis
I’ve not tried the US composites resins (they’re NOT the manufacturer – just a repackager/distributor of someone else’s resins from what they say on their web-site) so I’ll yield to Louis’s experiences.
The big issue I have is that though a 5 gallon container of their el-cheapo GP resin is only $103.50, once you add the required $20 HAZMAT fee plus the shipping charges, you’re easily up to $150+.
All things considered though, as compared to the price of the Bondo resin that Home Depot sells (A 3M product), which I like a LOT, which is $35.99/gallon, buying a 5 gallon container of the GP resin from US composites, though probably $150-$160 will more or less get you 5 gallons of resin for what 4 would cost at Home Depot. Still not cheap but “better”.
