Rising Female Death Rate

Check out how, in the story below, headlined “ Prison suicides rise to record level in England and Wales ”, they tell you the numbers, but hold back from printing the percentages. It’s because that would be more impactful, and so, as obstructionists, they’re hedging, by withholding them, to try to keep your eyes off the larger pattern, the bigger picture.

It’s okay, I did the math. It’s a 25% increase, in one year .

If “ overcrowding and staff shortages ” are driving the highest number of prison suicides since records began in 1978, as alleged, what’s up with this headline: “ Number of suicides in England and Wales reaches 20-year high ”? Which obviously has nothing to do with prison conditions?

You’ll also notice that they don’t say a word about how the 25% increase in prison-suicide maps against similar suicide increases outside the walls in the U.K., or similar increases in suicide rates across the pond, in the U.S.

Oh, and here’s another data point: “figures show number of female suicides rose sharply in 2015.” Why females ? What’s the variable?

Prison suicides rise to record level in England and Wales

1/26/2017

A record number of people killed themselves in prisons in England and Wales in 2016, figures show.

The Ministry of Justice said there were 119 self-inflicted deaths - 29 more than the previous year and the highest number since records began in 1978.

Last year, thousands of staff walked out in protest over health and safety concerns , amid claims the prison system was “in meltdown” because of overcrowding and staff shortages .

A number of serious disturbances also erupted in jails.

To me, it looks like we’ve made the bottom turn, here.

The words “ mystery ”, “ baffled ” and “ puzzled ” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. That’s why a headline below from the U.K. reads “ MYSTERY CRASH Young woman killed after car smashes into wall at seaside car park in Westbourne, Bournemouth .”

In the U.S., car accident fatalities have been rising every quarter for two straight years. While helicopter moms sit in locked, running cars at bus stops, nervously waiting to hand-transfer their children to the bus, outside of any trend documenting rising harm to youths, quarter, by quarter, by quarter.

In the passage that follows, you can see how the negative trend is increasing in speed and magnitude, up 7.2% over the entirety of 2015, and up 8% in just the first nine months of 2016:

“In 2015, the U.S. Department of Transportation reported the largest gain in vehicle fatalities in 50 years, with an increase of 7.2 percent for the entire year. In 2016, comparing the DOT’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Traffic Safety Facts: Crash Stats report for first nine months to 2016 to the same months in 2015, fatalities have gone up another eight percent.

The folks in charge are trying desperately to keep you from figuring out the MYSTERY . Check how they sandwich the real reason right between two bullshit reasons:

“Other possible explanations for vehicle crash fatality increases include warmer weather , distracted drivers, and possibly a relationship with the legalization of marijuana in some states .”

And “ distraction ” is a meme, wherein the Ssmart phone that ‘ distracted ’’ those dying in car crashes sn’t even mentioned. And neither is the fact that cell phones – yes, even hand’s-free units - make you drive worse than if you were drunk.

All of this isn’t going to convince anyone who wishes to remain asleep, who wishes to ignore the matter. That’s why reasons as stupid as “ warmer weather ” are put forward, at all. It’s just another plausible-deniability straw for the subconscious to grasp, vs. a person making a choice to engage their conscious mind and take personal responsibility for the situation.

We figured out drinking three martini’s at lunch and then going back to work wasn’t an entirely good idea. So it’s my hope that we’ll get up and past this as a species, soon enough.

August 22, 2016 – Maternal Mortality Rates Fall Drastically Worldwide, While America’s Rates Rise

October 10, 2016 - Reports from officials show that car accidents were much more frequent this year if compared to previous ones. As a result, the rate of people who died in car crashes is also higher.

Officials announce that the death rate related to car accidents in 2016 can only be compared to that in 1966. It is only then when safety on the public roads was such a concern. There is an increase of more than ten percent in the mortality rates reported for this year if compared to those in 2015.

December 21, 2016 – Melanoma Incidence and Mortality Rising in the US

Both the incidence of and mortality from invasive melanoma in the United States have been rising during the past few decades, despite efforts to raise awareness and increase primary prevention and early detection.

The authors reported on melanoma incidence rates 6 years ago (Arch Dermatol. 2010;146:318). A comparison of rates showed that from 2009 to 2016, the incidence rates per 100,000 population grew from 22.2 to 23.6. The current lifetime risk of developing invasive melanoma is now 1 in 54, a jump from 1 in 58.

(That’s a six percent increase in seven years – they didn’t print the percentage, as that would have been more impactful, so they hedged and omitted it. – ed)

“There does appear to be an increase in the incidence of melanoma in the US,” said Dr Glazer. " Some have speculated that this incidence increase is due to the detection of early/in situ lesions alone , but we are seeing increases in all thicknesses of melanoma as well as in the mortality rate associated with melanoma.

January 16, 2017 – It’s not just miles traveled : Something else causes rising U.S vehicle deaths

Federal officials are looking to the private sector for help understanding the continued rise in motor vehicle fatality rates. For the second year in a row, deaths from vehicle crashes are rising , even accounting for more vehicle miles , according to CNN. Full-year figures for 2016 won’t be available until late March, but the first nine months indicate the troublesome trend is continuing.

In 2015, the U.S. Department of Transportation reported the largest gain in vehicle fatalities in 50 years , with an increase of 7.2 percent for the entire year. In 2016, comparing the DOT’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Traffic Safety Facts: Crash Stats report for first nine months to 2016 to the same months in 2015, fatalities have gone up another eight percent . In 2015, there were 25,808 fatalities January through September and in the same months in 2016, the number rose to 27,875.

The numbers are rising each quarter. The third quarter of 2016 was the eighth consecutive period with increased fatalities compared to the same quarters in the previous year .

The first thought many have is that due to the improving economy U.S. drivers are traveling more. Miles traveled in the nine-month period went up by 70 billion and that number could be a contributing factor but doesn’t account for the entire increase. Citing preliminary figures from the Federal Highway Administration, total vehicle miles traveled January through September in 2016 were up about three percent.

During the recent recession, miles traveled dropped and fatality rates were at all-time lows. With low gas prices and a better economy, more miles with a concomitant rise in deaths were expected, but not to the degree that occurred. NHTSA analysis of the 2015 data showed much of the increase that year involved fatalities of pedestrians and cyclists — both motor- and pedal-powered.

Other possible explanations for vehicle crash fatality increases include warmer weather , distracted drivers , and possibly a relationship with the legalization of marijuana in some states . A Washington state study showed a large increase in traffic fatality victims with marijuana in their systems, CNN reported. Inconsistent crash victim drug testing in different states makes it difficult to be sure about a connection with marijuana or other drug use and the overall increase in traffic deaths.

The DOT is reaching out, looking for information and analysis. Dan Morgan, the DOT chief data officer, said, “We hope we can find some data sources out there in the private sector that can help us understand what’s happening on our roads.”

January 17, 2017 - Maternal Mortality on a Troubling Rise

Nearly a decade after the United States last published official statistics on how many women die from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth, new UMD research reveals an alarming rise in maternal mortality nationwide.

The study, published by Obstetrics & Gynecology and led by Marian MacDorman of the Maryland Population Research Center on campus, estimates the maternal mortality rate in 48 states and Washington, D.C., increased 26.6 percent from 2000–14 . Deaths increased from 18.8 per 100,000 live births to 23.8.

The U.S. has not published official data since 2007 because states unevenly implemented federally recommended revisions to death certificate questions dealing with pregnancy . MacDorman believes this lack of updated data is problematic, especially in light of a United Nations goal to reduce the worldwide maternal mortality rate by three-quarters.

(They managed to suppress the data for almost a decade, “ because states unevenly implemented federally recommended revisions to death certificate questions .” Desperately trying to obfuscate the 27% rise in mortality in just under fifteen years. – ed)

June 21, 2016 – University degree linked to increased risk of brain tumour diagnosis

The words “ mystery ”, “ baffled ” and “ puzzled ” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishment wants to lie about, well, basically anything.

That’s why a story below entitled “ University degree linked to increased risk of brain tumour diagnosis” tells us “the researchers say they are puzzled about the link, but say it could be to do with educated people being more likely to see medical help if they think something is wrong .”

In that story, we learn that men with a university education are 19 per cent more likely to discover a glioma (a type of cancerous tumor arising in the cells around neurons) than those who left school at 16.

Wait, what? Nineteen percent? That’s not a small number. That’s two more men out of every ten afflicted with a brain tumor on the University campus, versus those who were not in that environment. If it said that on the application, would you enter the University?

What’s the variable? What happened to the brains of those men in those three few years? What was it in the University environment that caused their brains to change in that negative way?

The article goes on to document that University graduates who are female have a four percent higher incidence of brain tumors than their male counterparts. Why? What’s the variable, women, vs. men?

A similar association was also found for those in professional jobs. Compared with men in manual roles, having a professional or managerial role was associated with a 20 per cent heightened risk of glioma and a 50 per cent heightened risk of acoustic neuroma – a type of non-cancerous brain tumour .”

So whatever it is, it’s present in the University, and it is in professional settings. And it kills, or mortally afflicts, between two to five out of ten more males in those settings, than males not in those settings. What is drastically increasing brain tumors in both the University and Professional settings?

The risk of glioma was also 26 per cent higher among women in professional and managerial roles than it was for women in manual roles, while the risk of meningioma was 14 per cent higher .”

Okay, wow – women are six percent higher re: glioma than their professional male peers, and 14% higher re: meningioma than their female peers in manual trades. What’s the difference, re: women, re: gliomas, vs. men? What’s the variable? And why was ‘meningioma’ mentioned for women, but not for men, at all?

So we’re clear, professional women have a 64% higher risk of acoustic neuroma, of brain tumors, than women in manual roles. Can you see how they took special care to cut up the “ 64% heightened risk of acoustic neuroma ” figure, re: women? They made you add “50%” in one paragraph, with “14 percent higher” in the next.

“Welcome to Millco Incorporated. Here’s your newest-generation iPhone (in GOLD!), and your laptop – the office has wifi – by the way, I need to let you know that at least half of you in this office will be getting brain tumors driven by just sitting here in this office, versus those working in manual trades. But don’t worry, you’ll be so happy with the convenience and functionality of the devices, and with this whole “professional” lifestyle, you won’t even notice!”

Men with a university level education lasting at least three years are 19 per cent more likely to discover a glioma —a type of cancerous tumour arising the cells around neurons – than those who left school at 16.

For women the chance of being diagnosed with a tumour was even higher , a 23 per cent increased risk for the most educated.

January 3, 2017 – Vinyl sales rose 26% in 2016

The six quotes immediately above show you that the folks in charge are lying to you about basically everything, including vinyl record sales. As you assimilate those quotes, I’d ask you to remember that it wasn’t until just four years ago that sales of Ssmart phones, the Most Important Invention in History, passed those of flip phones.

The readership may not be surprised that I’ve never gotten rid of my vinyl, and I’ve never owned a Ssmart phone. Actually, I had to be browbeaten into getting a flip phone.

We learn in an article below that flip phone sales in the U.S. rose from 2014 to 2015 “by two million, to a total of 24.2 million.” That’s a 9% increase. I must note that they took special care to omit the percentage, as including it would have been more impactful. So I had to do the math.

While Gartner Group tells of a Ssmartphone decrease of 14.4% in 2015.

That would be a 24% swing, to the flip phone, away from the Ssmart phone.

In Japan, same years, 2014 to 2015, flip phones saw a 5.7% increase in sales, and smartphone shipments fell 5.3%. That’s an 11 point swing away from the Ssmart phone, back to the flip phone.

One headline below says “ Smartphone Sales Continue To Tumble In 2016 .” Wherein the meme word “ tumble ” is used to conjure a happy, running child who falls on grass, brushes off their knees, and runs forward carefree once again. That’s followed quickly by “ The smartphone market has been declining recently, and it looks like the trend is poised to continue .”

Poised: “graceful and elegant bearing in a person. composure and dignity of manner. Archaic - balance; equilibrium.”

Excuse me while I hurl in the wastepaper basket. I wouldn’t consider myself or my business graceful, composed, dignified, elegant or balanced if my market share contracted 14% in a year.

2015 to 2016, Brazil: a million fewer smartphones sold, and a decline of about 12%. Mexico, also down 12%. April 28, 2016 – “Global Smartphone Shipments Decline 3 Percent in Q1 2016.” 4 times 3 is 12%.

It’s hard to get a clear picture, as they cut it up and compartmentalize it as best they can. Pulling back, speaking broadly, I’m seeing back-to-back years of double-digit decreases - sales down 20% in two years.

Once the public finally assimilates the concept that sending their children to college so they can pursue a professional career increases their risk of brain tumors from 20 to 50%, over those who pursue manual professions, people will admit that the cost/benefit just isn’t there on their admittedly-hyper-convenient Ssmart phone, or on the free wifi at the coffee shop, and they’ll put those things aside, like any other bad habit.

You’re quickly going to see “wi-fi free zones”. You’re going to see Helicopter moms rotate their gunships and commence firing on this subject, that is after first going through Denial, Anger, Bargaining, etc.

I don’t think that a general, collective admission that simple, inexpensive Orgonite devices continuously transform what Wilhelm Reich called “Dead Orgone Radiation” to the positive is very far off, now.

“You can blow out a candle, but you can’t blow out a fire. Once the flames begin to catch, the wind will blow it higher.” That’s Peter Gabriel, from “Biko.”

I can’t decide if the great-news article that follows should go in this thread, or the “Positive Changes That Are Occurring” thread.

The headline reads “‘Get off your phone’: Hockley daycare touches nerves with cellphone sign”

The hedging against the positive trend is there, the slant against people pushing back is there, throughout the article. The sentence “ The sign takes issue with parents not paying attention to their tots ” uses the demeaning, diminishing, more-casual and off-hand term “ tots ”, wanting to avoid the stronger, more upright “the sign takes issue with parents not paying attention to their children.”

In the sentence that follows, you’ll see that, when the two positions or points-of-view are listed, the people pushing back are ranked second, are demeaned, diminished:

"I was surprised that they would be so bold ," Mazurkewicz said, adding, “but also I liked it.”

And that’s repeated again, right afterward, with the pushing-back position again being placed second:

Some parents said the daycare center doesn’t have the right to publicly shame parents , others said the owners of the center are looking out for the well-being of their children.”

They throw in the bonus meme-word “ shame ”, which is about as hot in our society as “ bully ”, right now, in the subconscious-manipulation department.

But I hope it’s uplifting to you, as it is to me, that they are fighting a desperate rearguard action, which will soon turn to rout.

’Get off your phone’: Hockley daycare touches nerves with cellphone sign

February 2, 2017

HOCKLEY, TX (KTRK) –

A Hockley daycare is stirring a lot of debate on social media after posting a sign directing parents to “get off your phone.”

Juliana Farris Mazurkewicz told ABC News the sign went up in January, and that she thought it was “on point.”

The sign takes issue with parents not paying attention to their tots , reading in part:

Your child is happy to see you! Are you happy to see your child?? We have seen children trying to hand their parents their work they completed and the parent is on the phone. We have heard a child say “Mommy, mommy, mommy…” and the parent is paying more attention to their phone than their own child. It is appalling.

" I was surprised that they would be so bold," Mazurkewicz said, adding, " but also I liked it ."

Parents have taken up various opinions on Mazurkewicz’s Facebook post.

Some parents said the daycare center doesn’t have the right to publicly shame parents , others said the owners of the center are looking out for the well-being of their children.

Her husband, Jason Marzurkewicz, showed an amended sign on Facebook last night where the daycare center has added the words “Please” with a smile emoji to the note.

As I was stepping out of my car the other day on a street here in Pittsburgh, just down the street I heard a great “Boom!” I turned and saw that a car had driven at full speed directly into the back of another parked car, which was blessedly unoccupied at the time. There was no screech of brakes, just a sudden “Boom!”

A guy in the shop I was visiting came out, said “what happened?” I said “texting, I’m sure.” He replied “no doubt.”

Apparently, everybody knows it, as the most recent story I’ve appended below is headlined “ Insurance Bills Rise as Texters Crash Cars .”

I shouldn’t be so generous, as the duplicitous author appends this right after the headline: “ More drivers on the road + costly parts + texting = bigger claims .

Can you see how they positioned the biggest force behind the increase last ? That’s called ‘ burying ’ it.

Another story below says “ Lower gas prices and increased motor-vehicle mileage combined with risky activities like speeding and driving while texting is proving deadly for American drivers .”

That’s the exact same exact tactic that I identified just above – they positioned the biggest force behind the increase last . That’s called ‘ burying ’ it. And, as followers of the Left-Hand-Path, they diabolically inverted it, saying “ driving while texting ” to avoid saying " texting while driving ”, so that your brain and subconscious wouldn’t connect this perverted behavior to another, that being “ drinking while driving ”, and also to position texting as the most important thing - vs. driving. And, as a bonus, to position texting as the primary thing, Preciousss.

The story goes on to describe “ a 14% increase in deaths since 2014, the biggest two-year jump in more than five decades .” So, driver miles increased 14% in two years, I’m to gather, my devious Illuminist friends?

p.s., the author hedged by saying “ in more than five decades ”, because “in more than 50 years” would have been stronger and more impactful.

As a bonus, they used the heroic, exciting word “ jump ” to describe a massive increase in deaths.

They KNOW that everyone knows. Which is why another article below says “Traffic fatalities are increasing at their fastest pace in a half-century, and it’s not just smartphone use causing the spike .”

p.s., the author hedged by saying “ at their fastest pace in a half-century ”, because “a their fastest pace in 50 years” would have been stronger and more impactful.

They finished that sentence with the repugnant meme word “ spike ”, which implies numbers have shot up, but will shoot right back down again, forming a “spike” on the graph. It’s formulaic, part of a formula.

Here it is again: “ April’s 6-percent leap in auto insurance prices was the biggest monthly spike since 2003 .”

As a bonus, they used the heroic, exciting word “ leap ” to describe a crushing rate hike.

That story sagely pontificates “ Americans are driving more, thanks to rising employment and cheaper gasoline. But that also means they’re getting into more accidents — and that’s leading to higher insurance rates .”

There! Case closed! Oh, wait, they buried this down in the next paragraph - in an entirely different paragraph:

Of course, it’s not just a matter of more people cruising the roads. Unsafe behavior also may be contributing to a national accident problem .”

May be contributing, may be contributing. Hedging, hedging, always hedging. They pull even further away from the subject by calling it (generally) “ unsafe behavior ”, vs. (specifically), “texting and driving.”

Do you think that fevered, formulaic conjuring by a wholly-controlled-and-coopted Media is going to stop this subject from reaching wider awareness for very much longer? I don’t.

But I’m not going to wait around for this disease, this parasite to expire on its own – I’m taking action, right here, right now, and I’d ask you to consider doing so, also, if you have not already.

January 20, 2017 - Auto Insurance Rate Hikes Likely in 2016 – 2017

2015 was a difficult year for auto insurance companies. A huge rise in accidents and payouts , as well as a stagnant bond market have made it likely that carriers will be raising car insurance premiums for drivers in 2016 and 2017.

In the past year more drivers hit the road last year than ever before. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction though, and more drivers also led to more accidents happening–forcing the insurance companies to pay out unprecedented sums in claims.

The number of claims made in 2015 was so high that 14 of the 20 largest insurers saw their loss ratios, or the amount they paid toward claims out of each dollar of premiums, increased from 2014.

February 15, 2017 - 2016 Was the Deadliest Year on American Roads in Nearly a Decade

Lower gas prices and and increased motor-vehicle mileage combined with risky activities like speeding and driving while texting is proving deadly for American drivers.

New preliminary 2016 data shared Wednesday from the National Safety Council estimates that as many as 40,000 people died in motor vehicles crashes last year, a 6% rise from 2015. If those numbers bear out, it would be a 14% increase in deaths since 2014, the biggest two-year jump in more than five decades.

February 16, 2017 - Insurance Bills Rise as Texters Crash Cars

More drivers on the road + costly parts + texting = bigger claims.

At an investor conference last year, Tom Wilson, Allstate’s chief executive officer, said rising costs were partly the result of the economy’s expansion. More people commuting to work—and driving to vacations—means more cars on the road and more accidents. Then there’s distracted driving: Allstate said in February there’s a “striking” correlation between the rise in smartphone use and crashes. All told, vehicle-related deaths rose 8 percent in the first nine months of 2016 from the same period in 2015.

The words “ mystery ”, “ baffled ” and “ puzzled ” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. One of those variants is “ we don’t know what the heck is going on ”.

That’s why Marian MacDorman of the Maryland Population Research Center said “ There is a decade where we don’t know what the heck was going on ,” about maternal mortality rates in 48 states and Washington, D.C. increasing 26.6 percent from 2000–14.

She’s a picked Fight Club insider, bravely holding the party line - perhaps just before or after she cracked her bubble gum.

Another story below tells us that “ Premature mortality rates in the US are on the rise for white individuals (women especially), American Indians, and Alaska Natives, according to a study published January 26 in The Lancet .”

That’s real data, but it’s also a great cloud of chaff, in that it lumps the whites in with the Native Americans. Before you get all hot and bothered about that statement, let me clarify that, A: “F or white Americans, that represents a reversal, but the authors write that premature death rates for middle-aged American Indians and Alaska Natives have risen for every birth cohort since 1948 .”

Native Americans have been killing themselves too much for a very long time for very well-known reasons. Whereas, for White Americans (women especially), “ that represents a reversal .” What, pray, caused the reversal among white Americans, women especially?

B: “ During 2000-2014, An estimated 111,000 excess premature deaths occurred in white individuals from 25 to 49 years of age, and 6600 in American Indians and Alaska Natives .”

Lumping 6600 additional non-reversal American Indian deaths with 111,000 represents-a-reversal white individual deaths is, from a research perspective, spewing chaff . Because 6,600 is six percent of 111,000.

We just learned that 94% of the excess premature deaths occurred in white individuals 25 to 49 years of age.

Let me repeat 94% of the excess premature deaths occurred in white individuals 25 to 49 years of age.

Summing up:

Premature mortality rates are on the rise for white women especially.

Say it with me.

Increases [in death rates] were highest in women and those aged 25–30 years.

Focus with me.

94% of the excess premature deaths occurred in white individuals 25 to 49 years of age.

Janaury 17, 2017 – Maternal Mortality on a Troubling Rise

The study, published by Obstetrics & Gynecology and led by Marian MacDorman of the Maryland Population Research Center on campus, estimates the maternal mortality rate in 48 states and Washington, D.C., increased 26.6 percent from 2000–14. Deaths increased from 18.8 per 100,000 live births to 23.8.

Premature mortality rates in the US are on the rise for white individuals (women especially) , American Indians, and Alaska Natives, according to a study published January 26 in The Lancet.

February 2, 2017 – Death Rate for Young White Americans Is Rising Instead of Falling

Increases [in death rates] were highest in women and those aged 25–30 years.

Largely as a result of these trends, U.S. life expectancy actually fell this past year for the first time since 1993. The good news is that the trajectory of death rates among Hispanics, blacks, and Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States continues downward.

February 3, 2017 – STUDY: PREMATURE MORTALITY RATES RISING IN THE US

The annual morality increases were 3.2% for 30-year-old white women , 0.6% for 30-year-old white men, 4.3% for 30-year-old American Indian men and women, and 1.9% for 30-year-old Alaskan Native men and women

During 2000-2014, An estimated 111,000 excess premature deaths occurred in white individuals from 25 to 49 years of age , and 6600 in American Indians and Alaska Natives.

February 16, 2017 - Health cuts most likely cause of major rise in mortality, study claims

The rise in deaths from 2014 to 529,655 in 2015 was the biggest in percentage terms in almost 50 years and the mortality rate was the highest since 2008. The excess deaths were largely among older people who are most dependent on health and social care, the authors said.

Some Relationship Advice: Get Off Your Phone. Forget the chocolates, roses and jewelry. This Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14), perhaps the best gift we can give our significant other is our undivided attention. A recent international survey of more than 13,000 adults found that in the company of their partner , nearly 40 percent felt their partner paid more attention to their mobile device.

"Joan was doing her best to rally the men, but their wits were gone, their hearts were dominated for the moment by the old-time dread of the English. Joan’s temper flamed up, and she halted and commanded the trumpets to sound the advance. Then she wheeled about and cried out:

“If there is but a dozen of you that are not cowards, it is enough–follow me!”

Away she went, and after her a few dozen who had heard her words and been inspired by them. The pursuing force was astonished to see her sweeping down upon them with this handful of men, and it was their turn now to experience a grisly fright–surely this is a witch, this is a child of Satan! That was their thought–and without stopping to analyze the matter they turned and fled in a panic.

Our flying squadrons heard the bugle and turned to look; and when they saw the Maid’s banner speeding in the other direction and the enemy scrambling ahead of it in disorder, their courage returned and they came scouring after us.

La Hire heard it and hurried his force forward and caught up with us just as we were planting our banner again before the ramparts of the Augustins. We were strong enough now. We had a long and tough piece of work before us, but we carried it through before night, Joan keeping us hard at it, and she and La Hire saying we were able to take that big bastille, and must. The English fought like–well, they fought like the English; when that is said, there is no more to say. We made assault after assault, through the smoke and flame and the deafening cannon-blasts, and at last as the sun was sinking we carried the place with a rush, and planted our standard on its walls."

Mark Twain, from “ Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc "

“Gandalf stood for a moment in thought. ‘Maybe’, he muttered. ‘Maybe even your foolishness helped, my lad. Let me see: some five days ago now he would discover that we had thrown down Saruman and taken the Stone. Still what of that? We could not use it to much purpose, or without his knowing. Ah! I wonder. Aragorn? His time draws near. And he is strong and stern underneath, Pippin; bold, determined, able to take his own counsel and dare great risks at need. That may be it. He may have used the Stone and shown himself to the Enemy, challenging him for this very purpose.”

June, 2014 – Smoking among high school students at lowest level in 22 years

September, 2015 - Americans are Eating Less and Less Meat Every Year. Why?

February 28, 2017 – American Cancer Society researcher Rebecca Siegel says it’s not at all clear why younger people are developing the cancer more often. But risk factors for colon cancer include eating meat, especially processed meat, smoking and obesity.

The article that follows is headlined “ Colorectal Cancer Rates Soar in Younger People .”

While the word “ soar ” is accurate, it hedges, in that, deliberately buried down in the article, we read that “ people born in 1990 and later have double the risk of colon cancer, and four times the risk of rectal cancer, than people in their parents’ generation did at the same age .”

And the word “ soar ” has a generally positive connotation. In my other thread on this forum, I recently used an example where, when salmon prices skyrocketed 60% in a year, the article said “ Why salmon prices are leaping .”

Leap ”, ah, how witty! You know, like a salmon ? No, sorry, rather it’s the same exact technique, different article.

The picked Fight Club talking head quoted in this article says “ it’s not at all clear why younger people are developing the cancer more often . “

She said that because the words “ mystery ”, “ baffled ” and “ puzzled ” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. And because one of those variants is “ unclear .”

It’s clear that, at the rare times when one is not clutching one’s Ssmart phone in one’s hand, one jams it in one’s back pocket, even if one’s jeans are so tight they appear painted on.

[](javascript:void(null))

In the back pocket, you know, inches from the doubly-cancerous colon and the quadruply-cancerous rectum?

It’s a bonus, and very instructive, how the very soft “ more often ” is used to describe a very-hard doubling and quadrupling of deadly cancers.

And I’ve proven up at the top that the quoted cancer researcher’s reasons are bullshit plausible-deniability excuses, put forward in the hope it will take your eye off the larger, macro-level phenomenon I’m documenting here.

Not all cancer researchers are pathologically-lying sociopaths – just the ones who come from Illuminist families, the ones who get quoted in the newspaper articles.

The good news, here, is that the Technology boat is leaking, and badly. How long do you think the pumps are going to stay ahead of those leaks? I see the gunwale dropping, right now. We’re going to move past this.

Or, perhaps, we will move forward with technologies that have not been deliberately weaponized – where we’ll keep the good, and wake up to the fact that we were slipped the poisonous bad with the sugary good, by fair-seeming, nattily-dressed sociopaths, who do not have our best interests at heart, as they profess.

It turned out to be cancer.

“It was a huge shock. When the doctor told me … it was cancer, the first words that came out of my mouth were ‘I am only 27,’” Betancourt said.

Betancourt, now 31, is far from alone. She’s among the younger Americans who are at higher risk of colon cancer and rectal cancer than their parents were.

A new American Cancer Society study out Tuesday shows people born in 1990 and later have double the risk of colon cancer, and four times the risk of rectal cancer, than people in their parents’ generation did at the same age.

“When the doctor told me it was cancer, the first words that came out of my mouth were ‘I am only 27.’”

“Since 1950, risk has been increasing in subsequent generations — it’s not specifically one generation — but risk is continuing to increase for every generation,” said American Cancer Society researcher Rebecca Siegel.

“Every generation after 1950 has a little bit higher risk,” she said. "The largest increases are in people in their 20s."

Betancourt, of Cypress, Texas, said she had no obvious risk factors. No one in her family has had colon cancer, she said.

(American Cancer Society researcher Rebecca Siegel) says it’s not at all clear why younger people are developing the cancer more often. But risk factors for colon cancer include eating meat, especially processed meat, smoking and obesity.

“As Mr. J.L. Hitchings was one of the first to point out (in Sherlock Holmes, the Logician), Holmes throughout the Canon is wont to refer to his entire process of reasoning as “the science of deduction.” His usual method, however, is to make brilliant inferences from minute details he has observed – and this, strictly speaking is induction – that is, reasoning from the particular to the general – rather than deduction – reasoning from general to the particular.”

Check out how the headline of the story below, “ Cellphone Radiation Exposure Fact Sheet Draft Released By California Health Officials ”, carefully avoids telling you that someone had to sue them to get it released, and that they sat on it for seven years prior to being forced into releasing it.

That’s because the fair-seeming, nattily-suited folks in charge do not have your best interests at heart, as they profess. And the author is hedging, protectively, as part of a larger Conspiracy.

The article says “ Among the information in the document, which is titled simply, Cell Phones and Health, are summaries of scientific studies that suggest long-term cellphone use may increase the risk of brain cancer, among other health problems .”

But they don’t say anything about what those other health problems might be. That’s because they’re hedging, protectively, as part of a larger Conspiracy. Remember, before you go off the handle, that they’re supposed to be “the Fourth Estate”, impartial, you know?

The draft fact sheet states that radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (EMFs), a type of radiation, are emitted from cellphones and that because they are “used frequently and kept close to the head and body, cellphone EMFs can affect nearby cells and tissues .”

Close to the body, inclusive of the doubly-cancerous colon and quadruply-cancerous rectum we discussed in a recent post in this thread. And don’t forget the 20% greater risk of brain tumors among college students and office workers versus those in the manual trades. Isn’t it more than time to put aside sayings like " But they’re so convenient!” and " And what if there’s an emergency?” in connection with these devices?

I won’t natter on any further on this one (until the next post, that is). If the state hiding the document for seven years, and having to be sued to release it doesn’t do it for you, I’m afraid I don’t know what will.

But they’re fighting a rearguard action, here, which will soon turn to rout, mark my words.

And, remember, California is the “bellwether State."

March 2, 2017 - Cellphone Radiation Exposure Fact Sheet Draft Released By California Health Officials

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — After keeping it hidden for years , California’s Department of Public Health has released a draft document outlining health officials’ concerns about cellphone radiation exposure.

The previously unpublished document was released this week after a judge indicated she would order the documents be disclosed in the case Moskowitz v. CDPH.

Joel Moskowitz, Ph.D., who is the director of the Center for Family and Community Health at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health, sued the state in 2016 under the California Public Records Act to get the document released.

The document is dated April 2014, but Moskowitz says the document was originally prepared seven years ago and updated several times, but never released to the public.

He previously told KPIX 5 why he decided to sue the state.

“I would like this document to see the light of day because it will inform the public that there is concern within the California Department of Public Health that cellphone radiation is a risk, and it will provide them with some information about how to reduce those risks,” Moskowitz.

The two-page document, which the Department of Public Health first emailed to the San Francisco Chronicle on Thursday afternoon, looks like any other fact sheet released by the state, except that this one has, in big bold letters “Draft and Not for Public Release” stamped across the pages.

Among the information in the document, which is titled simply, Cell Phones and Health, are summaries of scientific studies that suggest long-term cellphone use may increase the risk of brain cancer , among other health problems.

The draft fact sheet states that radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (EMFs), a type of radiation, are emitted from cellphones and that because they are “used frequently and kept close to the head and body, cellphone EMFs can affect nearby cells and tissues.”

In the draft fact sheet, state health officials list their recommendations for members of the public who wish to reduce their exposure to the radiation emitted from cellphones, but state that as more studies are done the recommendations on the fact sheet may change.

Health officials’ overall recommendation is to “increase the distance between you and your phone” by using a headset, the speaker phone function and text messaging. Health officials recommend not sleeping near your phone and not carry it in your pocket or directly on your body, unless it is off.

The fact sheet also states that “EMFs can pass deeper into a child’s brain than and adult’s” so suggests parents limit their child’s cellphone use to texting, important call and emergencies.

Moskowitz, however, is not satisfied.

He said with the release of the document, the CDPH has violated the Public Records Act, saying it “stamped new lettering in huge dark letters across the face of the document,” essentially creating a new document rather than producing the document as-is.

Moskowitz says, “that lettering states that the document is ‘draft and not for public release’ when the judge’s tentative ruling stated exactly the opposite — that the document was not a draft, and must be publicly released.

The prevailing point of view at this time is that the effect of Ssmart phones on the human beings using them is behavioral. Whereas I am suggesting it is biomechanical, and may quite possibly be spiritual .

They say the hardest part of solving a problem is admitting that you have one. So I think the stories below are cheering in that they show a dim, but very real awakening is going on.

In 2011, there was an estimate of zero to 26% of adolescents and college students becoming addicted to the internet. Today, in 2017, 73% of teenagers have their own cell phone and 50% of those teens believe they are addicted to their phones.

So the phenomenon is increasing in intensity – has doubled in six years.

Wiki: “ Nationally, 31%% of all drivers involved in fatal accidents during 2013 are known to have been intoxicated .”

That’s really bad, right? One should never, every drink and drive. Then how about this:

26% of car accidents are caused by phone usage .” No outcry. Not a peep! WTF?

The whole self-driving car thing is a book-thickness sidebar, but I mention it here because it’s coming online as a rolling rescue cradle for the Ssmart phone addict.

But they say the hardest part of solving a problem is realizing that you have one. And this subject is starting to be discussed:

I’ve been trying to sleep with the phone charging in the bathroom rather than beside my bed. I can still hear it ping during the night though and I can’t stand it…I can’t wait because I’m addicted .”

The same gal goes on to say “ I like to tell myself that phone addiction isn’t so bad. After all, the only reason I want it near me all the time is because it’s my connection to the world, to the people in my world. Except that’s not really true. My phone inhibits relationships far more than it enables them. It creates a reality where my mind is always on the people not present, rather than the ones who are .”

It brings to mind the girl who killed herself after announcing to her nine-hundred-plus Facebook friends “ I’m going to kill myself .” And not one of them did anything .

In my most recent “Positive Changes” post I noted how Millenials are figuring out “buy right, or buy twice” - spending more for appliances that are of higher quality, last longer. These are the same Millenials who are drinking less, smoking less, using drugs less, killing other people less, and, now, “ Generation X More Addicted to Social Media Than Millennials, Report Finds .”

Funny, they couldn’t manage to phrase it “Millenials less addicted than Gen X”. Because positive spin isn’t something they do, ever.

The youth, who are The Future, seem to be getting with it, getting up and past this stuff. The difference in social media consumption was 6 hours and 19 minutes per day for Millenials, vs. 6 hours and 58 minutes for Gen X.

The author of that article provided the numbers, but carefully omitted printing the percentage, as doing so would be more impactful, so I had to do the math. It’s 11% less.

If the issue here is physical, and dose-dependent, then that 11% may be a very big deal. “I drank 11% less whisky last week.” If one has a drinking problem, that’s how one gets off the sauce.

It’s a moving needle, and I’m watching it.

Even this horrible game is going in the right direction.

January 12, 2017 – How phones ruin relationships : The dopamine rush we all crave

At brunch with girlfriends, my phone sits on the table rather than in my handbag. It is face down and set on silent; it’s a pathetic attempt to be ‘polite’. When I get up from the living room floor where I’ve been playing with my son, I take the phone with me to the kitchen. Why exactly, I’m not quite sure. I might need it, I reason to myself.

I’ve been trying to sleep with the phone charging in the bathroom rather than beside my bed. I can still hear it ping during the night though and I can’t stand it. Can’t stand to lie in bed knowing there is some stimulation, some new information, some interaction there that I haven’t accessed yet.

I can’t wait because I’m addicted.

I probably pay more attention to my phone than I do to my husband most days. Don’t feel too sorry for him though because he pays more attention to his phone than he does me. Such is the stuff of love in 2017.

I like to tell myself that phone addiction isn’t so bad. After all, the only reason I want it near me all the time is because it’s my connection to the world, to the people in my world.

Except that’s not really true. My phone inhibits relationships far more than it enables them. It creates a reality where my mind is always on the people not present, rather than the ones who are.

There were 38,300 traffic fatalities in 2015. Alcohol accounted for 11,107 of them, while cell phone use accounted for between 9,575 and 24,512.

Where did I GET those statistics? The analysis is down below. It’s certainly inexact, but I think we could agree “cell phone use is roughly as dangerous - and perhaps twice as dangerous - as driving drunk."

The point I’m trying to prove here isn’t that using a Ssmart phone while driving is dangerous. Everybody knows that. Except of course for the 27 zombies with drivers licenses I saw on the way to the grocery store today.

I’m trying to prove that there’s something going on with these devices that debilitates, that spectacularly messes up the user, to a level that radios in military aircraft and CBs in the cabs of a big rigs do not. To protect current programming levels, narrow eyes and affirm bitterly “ yeah, but they’re TRAINED .”

I’m trying to prove that the difference is not behavioral between these devices, but rather that it is, at best, biomechanical, or psycho-biological. It may, in fact, be spiritual , in that, in the case of demonic possession, one must invite the entity in.

But let’s eliminate the “ behavioral ” canard before we go there. The fact that hand’s-free and hand-held accident rates aren’t significantly different from one another should prove my point without going deeper. But we must.

Texting and driving is 6 times more likely to get you in an accident than drunk driving .”

A study at the University of Utah found out that the reaction time for a teen using a cell phone is the same as that of a 70 year old who isn’t using one .”

Got your ears on, good buddy, come on?

Say what you will about teenagers, they are at their physical peak, and that includes reflexes, reaction times.

If: 38,300 people were killed on U.S. roads in 2015, and: Cellphone use causes over 1 in 4 car accidents, then:

Cell phone use killed 9,575 people on U.S. roads in 2015.

If: 64% of all the road accidents in the United States involve cell phones, and there were 38,300 traffic fatalities in 2015, and 64% of 38,300 is 24,512, then:

Cell phone use killed 24,512 people on U.S. roads in 2015.

If: alcohol-impaired crash fatalities accounted for 29% of crash fatalities in 2015, and: there were 38,300 people killed on U.S. roads in 2015, and: 29% of 38,300 is 11,107, then:

Alcohol use killed 11,107 people on U.S. roads in 2015.

So how come I have to sit at police checkpoints to make sure I haven’t been drinking, but the Ssmart phone users get a pass, don’t get mentioned, or checked on, at all?

As a sidebar, these devices also make you want to kill yourself a lot more, and give you a lot more brain tumors, and it looks like also cancers of the colon and rectum, but the new gold-champagne-frost iPhone case is admittedly very attractive.

If my haranguing is tiresome, or making you angry, ask yourself why commercials on TV saying “don’t drink and drive” are not tiresome , and why they don’t make you angry .

If you think I’m a negativist, please go read my other thread, “Positive Changes That Are Occurring."

I’m trying to solve a problem, here.

March 28, 2014 – Cellphone use causes over 1 in 4 car accidents

The National Safety Council’s annual injury and fatality report, “Injury Facts,” found that the use of cellphones causes 26% of the nation’s car accidents, a modest increase from the previous year. The 2014 edition of the report compares data from 2013 and earlier.

In 2015 alcohol-impaired crash fatalities accounted for 29 percent of all crash fatalities.

January 23, 2015 – Over 2.5 million people in the U.S. are involved in road accidents each year.

Of these, 1.6 million have a cell phone involved in them. That’s 64% of all the road accidents in the United States.

Each year, over 330,000 accidents caused by texting while driving lead to severe injuries. This means that over 78% of all distracted drivers are distracted because they have been texting while driving.

1 out of 4 car accidents in the US are caused by texting while driving.

Texting and driving is 6 times more likely to get you in an accident than drunk driving. That’s right, it is actually safer for someone to get wasted and get behind the wheel than to text and do it.

A study at the University of Utah found out that the reaction time for a teen using a cell phone is the same as that of a 70 year old who isn’t using one.

When polled, 77% of adults and 55% of teenage drivers say that they can easily manage texting while driving.

February 17, 2016 - 2015 brought biggest percent increase in U.S. traffic deaths in 50 years

Last year, the U.S. had the highest one-year percentage increase in traffic deaths in half a century, according to 2015 data released Wednesday by the National Safety Council (NSC). Initial estimates, which may be revised when more information becomes available, indicate that 38,300 people were killed on U.S. roads in 2015, and roughly 4.4 million sustained injuries that resulted in medical consultations. The number of deaths rose 8 percent from 2014, compared with a less than 0.5 percent increase between 2013 and 2014 and a 3 percent drop the previous year.

November 23, 2016 – U.K. - Under-reporting of mobile phone-related car accidents a "massive problem"

A study found that three quarters of collision investigators who were interviewed said they had been unable to report the full proportion of road accidents linked with mobile phone use within the last year.

They said that the figures would jump dramatically if they were able to properly investigate all accidents thought to be phone-related.

A similar percentage said they were desperate for roadside technology that allowed instant examination of mobile phones in the immediate aftermath of a collision.

So-called “textalyzer” devices already exist, and authorities in some US states are currently debating whether to provide them to traffic officers.

Statistics show that California traffic fatalities increased by 14 percent in 2016 in comparison with 2015. It rose by 19 percent over the previous two years.

Nationally, the fatalities on the road increased by 6 percent in the previous year and by 14 percent over the past two. This was the highest growth in the country since 1964.

"Moriarty did little himself; he only planned. But his agents were numerous, and splendidly organized. Was there a paper to be abstracted, a house to be rifled, a man to be removed - the word was passed to the Professor, and the matter was seen to. The agent might be caught. But the deep organizing power, which forever stood in the way of law and threw a shield over the wrongdoer, was never caught - never so much as suspected. Moriarty pervaded London, and no one had ever heard of him.

No one, that is, except Sherlock Holmes. Often it was only the smallest trace, the faintest indication, and yet it was enough to tell the master detective that the great malignant brain was there, as the gentlest tremors at the edge of a web remind one of the foul spider which lurks at its center. “Petty thefts, wanton assaults, purposeless outrage,” Holmes once said, “–to the man who held the clue all could be worked into one connected whole.”

The words " mystery ", " baffled " and " puzzled " are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything.

My wife is a Doctor, while I am not. I was just reading an article in her latest Journal of the American Medical Association magazine, about how it’s back to square one with Alzheimer’s research.

Here’s what I learned:

"JAMA: Dr. Zlokovic, would you say that much of this process is cerebrovascular , that the problem predates amyloid accumulation when the aging process weakens the blood brain barrier (BBB). It becomes leaky, letting in undesirable agents and hindering the clearing of the amyloid .

DR. ZLOVKOVIC: Yes, absolutely. Obviously, amyloid accumulates in the brain, but there is a system that vigorously clears amyloid and other toxins. An important role is played by the blood vessels of the brain, the endothelial cells of the blood brain barrier and also its pericytes. According to my two-hit hypothesis, it is t he (dysfunction) of of this vascular system that is the first step that predisposes you to the accumulation of amyloid. It also reduces the oxygen and glucose supply to the brain: sugars, energy, metabolites."

So the JAMA reporter steers the investigation to state that it’s " the aging process " that is weakening the blood brain barrier, making it leaky, causes the dysfunction of this vascular system . If that were true, why would there be an increase in Alzheimer’s to epidemic levels, only of late, when people have been going through the aging process in a similar way down through all of time?

"May 19, 2014 - Between 2000 and 2010, the proportion of deaths from Alzheimer’s increased by 68 percent."

Which realization led me to guess “cell phones mess with the blood brain barrier”, and I researched the subject for, oh, forty five seconds or so. And this is what I learned:

May 18, 2015 - Cell Phones and Blood-Brain Barrier : Chinese scientists confirm findings of Swedish Salford group

Chinese scientists, from the group of Gang Zhu, apparently confirmed, and expanded on, findings of Swedish group of Leif Salford but… nobody is talking about it

Leif Salford, neurosurgeon at Lund University Hospital in Sweden, and his research team published several studies showing that exposure of rats to cell phone radiation causes leakage of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and impairs cognition:

Increased blood-brain barrier permeability in mammalian brain 7 days after exposure to the radiation from a GSM-900 mobile phone. Nittby H, Brun A, Eberhardt J, Malmgren L, Persson BR, Salford LG. Pathophysiology. 2009 Aug;16(2-3):103-12.

Exposure of rat brain to 915 MHz GSM microwaves induces changes in gene expression but not double stranded DNA breaks or effects on chromatin conformation. Belyaev IY, Koch CB, Terenius O, Roxström-Lindquist K, Malmgren LO, H Sommer W, Salford LG, Persson BR. Bioelectromagnetics. 2006 May;27(4):295-306.

Permeability of the blood-brain barrier induced by 915 MHz electromagnetic radiation, continuous wave and modulated at 8, 16, 50, and 200 Hz. Salford LG, Brun A, Sturesson K, Eberhardt JL, Persson BR. Microsc Res Tech. 1994 Apr 15;27(6):535-42.

This year, well recognized and established journal – Brain Research – published in March 2015 issue an article from the scientists at the Department of Neurosurgery, Southwest Hospital, Third Military Medical University, Chongqing, 400038, China:

Exposure to 900 MHz electromagnetic fields activates the mkp-1/ERK pathway and causes blood-brain barrier damage and cognitive impairment in rats.Tang J, Zhang Y, Yang L, Chen Q, Tan L, Zuo S, Feng H, Chen Z, Zhu G.Brain Res. 2015 Mar 19;1601:92-101.

In this study, Gang Zhu and collaborating scientists have confirmed findings of Leif Salford and colleagues. Furthermore, they pointed out that activation of stress response pathway is involved in the effects. Here is the final conclusion quoted from the abstract:

“Taken together, these results demonstrated that exposure to 900 MHz EMF radiation for 28 days can significantly impair spatial memory and damage BBB permeability in rat by activating the mkp-1/ERK pathway.“

Abstract and figures of this study are freely available on website of the Brain Research. For pdf copies of the article, you may contact Gang Zhu at [email protected]."

Class is adjourned…

In the article that follows, “Increase in Suicide Rates and Teen Depression”, the author starts off on a helpful note:

" The good news is we’ve made progress in many important areas. Since the initiative began, fewer teens are smoking cigarettes, and more people are exercising. The national rates of infant death and preterm birth have both declined."

Wait, what? I guess she must have missed this, from August of 2015:

" U.S. Infant Mortality Rate Stays High, Report Finds. Preterm babies are far more likely to die, and the US has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the developed world ."

And this, from October of 2016:

" In a similar fashion, infant mortality rates are higher in the U.S. than any of the other 27 wealthy countries reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). According to data released from the Institute of Health Metrics, there are 28 maternal deaths for every 100,000 births in the U.S.4 This number is a drastic 22 percent increase, up from 23 deaths in 2003.5,6 Compared to 1990, the maternal death rate in the U.S. has more than DOUBLED ."

And this, from November, 2016:

" Premature Births Rise Once Again, Despite Efforts To Prevent Them. The number of preterm births in the United States rose in 2015 for the first time in eight years, according to data presented Tuesday by the March of Dimes. Preterm births increased from 9.57 to 9.63 percent of births in 2015, an additional 2,000 babies born prematurely in the U.S., the report found ."

And this, from December 2016: " Data Suggests Increase in Infant Mortality Rate in North Carolina. The State Center for Health Statistics recently released new data on infant mortality in North Carolina. From 2014 to 2015, the infant death rate rose from 7.1 per 1,000 live births to 7.3 per 1,000 live births, representing a 2.8% increase in the state’s infant mortality rate ."

So, much of the good news that she presented at the top of the article to hedge against the later bad news was actually LIES.

She bravely goes on:

" While we’ve made progress in some areas, others, such as obesity rates in adults and children, have remained stagnant."

I guess she must have missed this, from February 2014:

" Child obesity rates drop 43% in past decade ."

And this, from September 2016:

" Obesity rates drop in four states - Ohio’s adult obesity rate dropped the most of the four states, from 32 percent in 2014 to 26 percent last year. "

In that latter example, the author said " from 32 to 26 ", to avoid printing or stating the percentage of the drop, as doing so would have been more impactful. That’s a 7% drop, in one year.

Lotta baldfaced lying going on, don’t you think? (This is called “fact checking”, by the way)

But, hey, at least the HEADLINE is factual: " Increase in Suicide Rates and Teen Depression ".

The fair-seeming, duplicitous, sociopathic, pathologically-lying author, who is a member of a bloodline Illuminist family, gives us the numbers, but took special care to omit the percentage increases, as including them would have been more impactful. And so I had to do the math.

The increase from 11.3 to 12.6 is an overall increase in suicides of 11.5% from 2007 to 2013.

The increase from 8.3 to 10.7 is an increase in teen depression of 29% from 2008 to 2013.

So the admittedly-factual headline also hedges, defensively, as is says " increase " to describe double-digit, see-the-needle-moving increases. While the honestly-written headline would say “Significant increase” or “Alarming increase.”

Well, what’s she got on drivers of the increases? The first, the tirelessly-advanced " greater awareness " canard:

" One possible reason for the increase in the depression rate might actually be a good thing. Greater awareness of mental health issues, specifically depression, might help parents, doctors, teachers, and teens themselves recognize the symptoms and then hopefully seek help. In other words, maybe the rate of depression isn’t actually higher than in the past, it is just being recognized and acknowledged more ."

What else she got? " Drug use, both legal and illegal, can certainly come into play when talking about teen depression and suicide in general… "

I guess she missed this, from December, 2016:

" There’s hope: Fewer teens are doing drugs than ever before "

And here’s the real driver, the actual driver, buried as far down as possible:

“I wholeheartedly believe our children should be playing (with no screens involved)…”

She’s a hero:

" Still. Why are so many more teens and young adults struggling with depression than during the Great Depression? Surely there was an abundance of stressors during that time. What’s going on? I don’t really know ."

That’s because the words " mystery “, " baffled " and “puzzled” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. And because of of those variants is " I don’t really know .”

I guess, since she " doesn’t really know ", you’ll have to use your personal discernment to conclude the drivers behind double-digit increases in suicide rates and teen depression.

February 4, 2017 - Increase in Suicide Rates and Teen Depression

By Janet Singer

Researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published a report on January 11, 2017, detailing our country’s progress in twenty-six public health categories. The report is based on an initiative called Healthy People 2020, which is comprised of ten-year national health goals set in 2010. Healthy People 2020 calls for improvement in a wide array of areas including, but not limited to, quality of the environment, health care services, and mental health.

The good news is we’ve made progress in many important areas. Since the initiative began, fewer teens are smoking cigarettes, and more people are exercising. The national rates of infant death and preterm birth have both declined.

While we’ve made progress in some areas, others, such as obesity rates in adults and children, have remained stagnant.

And finally, there are three areas in which we have regressed. One is oral health and the other two — you guessed it — are in the mental health category. According to the report, the suicide rate has increased from 11.3 suicides per 100,000 people (in 2007) to 12.6 suicides per 100,000 people (in 2013). In addition, the depression rate in teenagers has increased from 8.3 percent (in 2008) to 10.7 percent (in 2013).

A significant increase in teen depression as well as an increase in the suicide rate. What’s going on with us?

One possible reason for the increase in the depression rate might actually be a good thing. Greater awareness of mental health issues, specifically depression, might help parents, doctors, teachers, and teens themselves recognize the symptoms and then hopefully seek help. In other words, maybe the rate of depression isn’t actually higher than in the past, it is just being recognized and acknowledged more.

But is that the whole story? I think it would be naïve to believe that. There are so many other factors that might be contributing to this rise in mental health issues.

Drug use, both legal and illegal, can certainly come into play when talking about teen depression and suicide in general. The over-prescribing and misuse of prescription medications such as opioids has become rampant and illegal drug use — heroin for example — is alive and well. Ironically, anti-depressants and antipsychotics are both known to sometimes cause depression and/or suicidal thoughts in children, teens, and young adults.

Another possible explanation for the increase in suicide and teen depression is one we hear over and over: We put too much pressure on our young people. We force them to grow up too quickly. Pressure. Stress. Anxiety. There is no escaping. Stressors might be related to academics, peer pressure, family issues, and more.

Agreed. I wholeheartedly believe our children should be playing ( with no screens involved) instead of attending one scheduled enrichment classes after another. They shouldn’t be dealing with hours of homework every night or worrying about getting into the best college possible before they even hit middle school.

But still. Why are so many more teens and young adults struggling with depression than during the Great Depression? Surely there was an abundance of stressors during that time.

What’s going on?

I don’t really know , but I can’t help thinking that our lack of community and connection to each other is a critical factor here. We have learned to focus on the wrong things. Our families are dysfunctional – our world is dysfunctional – and we are paying the price.

How many of us have heard stories of young people (or maybe not so young people) who were able to turn their lives around because one person took an interest in them (the movie The Blind Side comes to mind). Someone to listen to you. Someone to care. Sometimes that is all it takes.

I believe we need to strengthen our communities and our connections to one another. Not virtually, but in real life. We need to care and we need to be there for one another, in any way we can.

I think we should take this backward slide as a warning — a sign that we are not going down the right path. We are forgetting what matters most and it is taking its toll. I can’t help thinking of the recent Women’s Marches that were held around the country. Friends who attended them felt buoyed by them and I repeatedly heard comments such as, “I felt so much better and not so alone,” “It was great to be part of a community,” “I feel renewed and ready to advocate some more.”

While these people didn’t necessarily start out depressed, they felt the power of community — of being with others who cared. I think we all need to find ways to get back to the basics — caring, supporting, and nurturing not only ourselves, but our loved ones, our friends, and our neighbors. Depression and suicide are typically illnesses of loneliness. Let’s reverse this backward trend by changing our priorities and how we live our lives. We owe it to ourselves, our families and our communities.

The story that follows is dated today, March 10. So my story from March 8 about Ssmart phones driving Alzheimer’s got the “scoop”, here, in newspaper parlance. It also shows that, when ideas come into being, they do so in a manner that exemplifies that, when the school of fish, the flock of birds turns, they do so apparently as one.

Heavier-than-air flight was coming into being all over the globe, bunch of guys really close at the same time. The German immigrant Gustave Whitehead beat the Wright brothers to it by two years, in Connecticut, with the establishment’s “Wright’s were first!” ruse unravelling more and more quickly over time.

The story that follows is a another heavy blow against the Empire, to be sure. It says ’ Those animals exposed to medium and high wattage of radiation had an ‘abundant occurrence’ of dead neurons ."

" Professor Leif Salford, head of neurosurgery, said: 'We have already shown that mobile radiation can allow harmful proteins and toxins through the blood-brain barrier in rats. 'Now we see a significant degree of damage to the neurons in the brains of what you could call adolescent rats ."

So this neuron damage is in addition to the blood-brain barrier damage. Things are not going so well for the Most Important Invention in Human History, I am afraid.

But it’s, ours, Precious, and we wants it.

I found this on the " Cure Alzheimer’s Fund " website, it’s an article called " New Insights Into the Blood Brain Barrier ", July 22, 2015:

" In May, Zlokovic discovered the mechanism of action for an Alzheimer’s-implicated gene encoding protein known as PICALM. The PICALM-Alzheimer’s connection had been studied previously by Cure Alzheimer’s Research Consortium Chair Rudy Tanzi, Ph.D., and Zlokovic in a Cure Alzheimer’s Fund-supported study. Zlokovic, publishing his research in Nature Neuroscience, showed that PICALM is crucial for clearing Abeta across the BBB. PICALM variants associated with increased risk for Alzheimer’s lead to diminished expression of PICALM and faulty clearance of Abeta from the brain, leading to its accumulation both in the human brain and animal models of the disease. This suggests that, while Abeta is crucial in the subsequent cascade that leads to Alzheimer’s disease, the compromise of the BBB may happen earlier in the process, and may contribute directly to the destructive excess of Abeta in the brain .

There, Zlokovic (who was also quoted in the JAMA article I excerpted on 3/8) waved his arms and blew the smoke that the gene encoding protein was the driver. But deeper analysis quickly showed the compromise of the BBB occurred earlier. The protective, hedging article takes care to say " may happen" and " may contribute", but the gene-encoding ruse was foiled, here.

And neither the Official Alzheimer’s Website nor the Quoted M.D. mention or investigate what might be driving epidemically-higher levels of blood brain barrier damage, as I have. Why wouldn’t they?

In the article from below that we’re discussing today, we’ve got a picked Fight Club member quoted:

" Dr Alan Preece, a medical physicist at Bristol University, said: 'This is fairly worrying - it suggests localised damage in the brain. 'I would like to see this work repeated in another laborator y.’ "

FAIRLY worrying? That’s called “protective hedging”. While " I’d like to see the work repeated " is called “slow-playing” or “harrying the opposition.”

Don’t you feel like we’re gaining on it here, and hard?

This forum’s name is Etheric Warriors . Because there’s a war on, and we’re in it . We didn’t start it, and, now that we realized that we’re in it, we’re going to finish it.

Oh, wow, just thought of this, gotta mention it. I was riding my bike a couple of days ago, and saw a nice old car backing out of a garage about ten minutes from my house (about a block from where the agency wetworker hit me with her car). I turned around, introduced myself. Nice young man, in his late 20’s, I’d say…the car is a 1970 Buick Skylark (I drive a 1965 Buick Skylark). It’s his daily driver (like mine is), and is all original (like mine is). And I’d also note that the fact that they are both not only Buick’s, but also Skylarks was to me also synchronous and worthy of mention.

When the school of fish, the flock of birds turns, they do so apparently as one.

March 10, 2017 - Mobile use 'may trigger premature Alzheimer’s’

By TIM UTTON, Daily Mail

Radiation from mobile phones destroys brain cells and could lead to the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease , according to research.

Scientists have found that prolonged exposure to the handsets destroys cells in areas of the brain important for memory, movement and learning .

They also fear it could cause premature onset of illnesses linked to ageing, particularly among those who were heavy users of such phones as teenagers.

The Swedish study, which looked at the effects of radiation on rats, will alarm Britain’s 47 million mobile users.

Despite the millions of pounds spent on research in the past decade, scientists have previously failed to establish any major health implications of sustained mobile phone use.

The biggest British study, led by Sir William Stewart, found three years ago that there was no evidence of a risk to health.

And a report by the American National Cancer Institute in 2001 also failed to find a link between mobile use and brain cancer.

But the latest research, at Lund University Hospital, focuses not on the cancer risk but on damage to neurons in the brain.

Professor Leif Salford, head of neurosurgery, said: 'We have already shown that mobile radiation can allow harmful proteins and toxins through the blood-brain barrier in rats.

'Now we see a significant degree of damage to the neurons in the brains of what you could call adolescent rats.

'If this effect were to transfer to young mobile users the effects could be terrifying.

‘We can see reduced brain reserve capacity, meaning those who might normally have got Alzheimer’s or dementia in old age could get it much earlier.’

Prof Salford experimented on rats aged 12-26 weeks because their brain cells are still developing in a similar way to those of teenagers.

Three groups of rats were exposed for two hours to radiation equivalent to that from mobile phones.

They were kept alive for 50 days after exposure and then sections of their brains were removed and examined under a microscope.

Those animals exposed to medium and high wattage of radiation had an ‘abundant occurrence’ of dead neurons.

The report concludes: ‘After some decades of often daily use a whole generation of users may suffer negative effects as early as middle age.’

The research is due to be published next month in Environmental Health Perspectives, the journal of the U.S. government’s National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

Dr Alan Preece, a medical physicist at Bristol University, said: 'This is fairly worrying - it suggests localised damage in the brain.

‘I would like to see this work repeated in another laboratory.’

And Alasdair Philips, of consumer group Powerwatch, said: ‘These findings are dynamite. Over time brain function will gradually be impaired.’

But a spokesman for the Mobile Operators Association dismissed the findings.

She said: ‘Independent scientific review bodies in the UK and around the world have consistently concluded that the weight of scientific evidence suggests that exposure to radio waves from mobile phones operating within the international exposure guidelines do not cause health problems.’
