Smart phones as drivers of vehicular homicide

VEHICULAR HOMICIDE - SMART PHONES CAUSE YOU TO KILL OTHER PEOPLE

64% of all the road accidents in the United States have a smart phone involved in them. 25% of car accidents in the United States are caused by texting and driving.

Phone addicts spend 28% of their driving time actively ignoring the road; of those considered phone addicts, 93% said they are "pretty safe" or "extremely safe" drivers.

The number of mobile phone addicts increased 123% between March 2013 and March 2014. The increase was 10% higher among women than among men.

Phone addiction is 10% higher among women than among men. 10.54% of adolescents are addicted to their phones. The phone addiction rate among adolescent females is 150% higher than that of males.

Men drive about 30% more miles than women, yet women are implicated in over 70% of car accidents.

Pedestrian deaths in the U.S. increased 53% from 2008 to 2018.

Automotive fatalities in the U.S. increased 20% from 2014 to 2017.

Automotive fatalities in the U.S. increased 8.4% from 2014 to 2015.

Automotive fatalities in the U.S. increased 5.6% from 2015 to 2016.

The number of people killed in traffic crashes in Los Angeles, California increased 43% from 2015 to 2016.

“Distracted” driving was the number one cause of teen car crashes in 2015.

In July 2016, a driver in Baltimore, Maryland drove into a police car while playing Pokemon Go.

In 2016, theverge.com said “A lot of people died on US roads in 2016, but distracted driving is down.”

Where “a lot” and “down” are both general. As you may recall, generality is a hallmark of propaganda.

The author used “a lot” to describe US traffic deaths that increased 6% from 2016 to 2017. It was the third straight year of increasing traffic deaths in the United States.

Curbed said that the 6% increase in U.S. traffic deaths in 2016 was “caused by speeding.”

“Curbed” has put forward a false plausible-deniability excuse, “caused by speeding”, to cover up the technology-driven increase in motor vehicle fatalities.

We know that it’s a lie because, in June 2016, police in Los Angeles, California were said to be issuing “fewer” speeding tickets, because they were “hampered by a city survey backlog”.

Where “city survey backlog” is a false plausible-deniability excuse, put forward to cover up the drop in asshole driving. They’re desperate to keep you from realizing that moral and mental health vary directly with the health of the Ether.

We also know that “caused by speeding is a lie because police issued “fewer” speeding tickets in Wisconsin in 2017, “possibly due to lack of resources”.

Where “lack of resources” is a false plausible-deniability excuse, put forward to cover up the drop in asshole driving. They’re desperate to keep you from realizing that moral and mental health vary directly with the health of the Ether.

We also know that “caused by speeding” is a lie because the Florida Highway Patrol issued 60% fewer speeding tickets in 2017, because of “a trooper shortage”.

Where “trooper shortage” is a false plausible-deniability excuse, put forward to cover up the drop in asshole driving. They’re desperate to keep you from realizing that moral and mental health vary directly with the health of the Ether.

They’re all examples of the use of conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty. The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.

Road deaths in France increased 15.4% from 2016 to 2017.

In February 2017, ABC News said “ U.S. Traffic Deaths Rise for a Second Straight Year”.

They used the hedging generality “rise” in the headline and, in journalistic parlance, “buried” the statistics in the article below. Motor vehicle fatalities in the U.S. increased 7% from 2014 to 2015, and increased another 7% from 2015 to 2016. The 14% increase in motor vehicle fatalities from 2014 to 2016 was the largest in over fifty years.

They used “rise” because it’s softer than “increase”, and also as a thinly-veiled reference to the Atonist Black-Sun cult that’s ruled things in all the nations, well, all the way back to Babylon, and before.

ABC said that “part of the increase is believed to stem from the improving economy, which has led Americans to drive more miles for both work and pleasure.”

Where “increase” is general. As you may recall, generality is a hallmark of propaganda. We know that “drive more miles” is a lie, as the number of deaths as a percentage of miles driven is also increasing.

The words “mystery”, “baffled” and “puzzled” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. One of those variants is “stunned”.

That’s why a zerohedge.com article from July 2017 is headlined “BofA Stunned By Drop In Gasoline Demand: "Where Is Driving Season?

“zero hedge” has put forward the same “prosperity-driven driving increase” ruse that ABC did previously. It’s a false plausible-deniability excuse, to obscure the technology-driven increase in motor vehicle fatalities. It’s an example of the use of conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty. The propagandist knows that the subconscious of many or most readers will grasp any straw, no matter how thin, to remain off the hook of personal responsibility.
