Like the article says, the snow in Pico de Las Nieves (Snowy Peak) is a “highly unusual, though not unheard of, phenomenon”.
Near this place there are a couple of very interesting places for gifters. Namely a military installation with weather ball, and a few hundred meters apart from that a “farm” of some 20-30 death towers.
Interestingly the place felt as if it had been gifted before so we basically built on that. This didn’t happen often, but for the whole trip I think we had this impression most strongly around the Pico de Last Nieves area. Hopefully, together with our own efforts this will encourge the local “canarios” to start gifting as well.
I know Francisco is preparing a serious report which he will eventually post here. This is just a side note.
