Fox19’s Jared Goffinet didn’t offer any suggestion whatsoever as to what had caused the sudden, catastrophic decrease in sports gambling in Ohio in February 2023. That’s an example of the propaganda technique known as “stonewalling”.
In February 2023, the sports wagering handle in Indiana decreased by 12%, year-over-year, from $409 million to $356.2 million. Sportshandle.com’s Jeff Edelstein said “the reason is clear enough: the dawn of legal wagering in neighboring Ohio.”
Which is a bald-faced lie, given that sports gambling in Ohio decreased by 42% from January to February 2023.
I have exposed the duplicity of sportshandle.com’s Jeff Edelstein by using what was known in the old days as “fact checking”.
Jeff said “dawn of legal wagering” as a reference to his Lord Lucifer, “son of the dawning”.

On March 10, 2023, sportshandle.com said “Ohio Continues To Eat Into Indiana Sports Betting Handle”.
Where author Jeff Edelstein said “eat into” because, as a propagandist, he knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the headlines, and his hedging generality goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the exponential speed and scope of the decrease in gambling which he is attempting to obfuscate.
The subhead goes on to say “Numbers for February 2023 were down over 12% from February 2022”.
The article goes on to say "The Indiana Gaming Commission reported sports wagering handle of $356.2 million for the month of February. That was a 12% decrease from February 2022’s number of $409 million.
That marked the second straight month of decline from the previous year, and the reason is clear enough: the dawn of legal wagering in neighboring Ohio. This was also the first time since September that wagering didn’t hit the $400 million mark."
