In 2011, the Baltimore Sun said “Many adult striped bass have sores and are ravaged by a fatal disease that remains a mystery to scientists.”

The first published note involving black walnut die-offs that likely can be attributed to TCD occurred in the Espanola Valley of northern New Mexico in 2001. Walnut twig beetles were associated with this unusual cluster of walnut mortality, but drought was originally thought to be the cause.
I’ve caught the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources in a bald-faced lie about the walnut twig beetle being introduced in Tennessee “a very long time ago” using what was known in the old days as fact-checking.
The folks in charge loaded up the twig beetles with a weaponized pathogen named “Thousand Cankers Disease” and released them first in northern New Mexico, then in Tennessee, and finally in the Chesapeake.

They’re covering up for continuous submarine and surface harassment of the right whale population in the North Atlantic that successfully kept the entire species from breeding. The subhead reads “At least 14 new calves seen off south-eastern US this season”.
Where “seen” plays that “more assiduous right-whale watching” led to all those calves being added to the roster.
The article goes on to say “Advocacy group warns of ongoing ‘unusual mortality event’” They’re talking about State-sponsored right whale killing operations.
