Tornadoes hit the area near this nuke installation last week and they said they had to completely rebuild 8 utility lines serving thousands of customers all over the state of Alabama. So they cut the power to all these places that were not hit by tornadoes making the disaster look 100 times worse. Then the entire state cooled off exponentially (with the nuke powered down) by 30 degrees in the evenings. My point is that these devices also figure comfortably into the global warming arena as do the dopplers and death tower brethren.
