The coincidental rise of sham democracy in all the nations

“It was one of the greatest errors in evaluating dictatorship to say that the dictator forces himself on society against its own will. In reality, every dictator in history was nothing but the accentuation of already existing state ideas which he had only to exaggerate in order to gain power.”

― From "The Mass Pyschology of Fascism", by Wilhelm Reich, 1933

It just occurred to me. People can't be told. They have to figure it out for themselves. And since "figuring it out for one's self" has basically been bred out of the breed, we're in a bit of a jam. But I think we're gonna win this thing, and pretty quick, now, too.

We're going to win it despite the fact that the Feds are still bravely putting an inverted food pyramid up on elementary school classroom walls. A pyramid that makes you eat way too many carbs, so that you become obese, and get diabetes, and the like. They drew up the chart and distributed it while acting like they want what's best for you. They're using conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty.

We're going to win it despite the fact that the Feds are still telling you to drink a lot of milk for strong bones, when its well known that drinking a lot of milk makes your bones more brittle. They're using conscious deception with the firmness of purpose that goes with complete honesty.

Yet, despite being indoctrinated to harm themselves with food from the time they were small, people are eating better, losing weight, and getting healthier. At this writing, there are billboards in Brooklyn that say "Eat Clean, Bro".

You have to learn for yourself to not eat shitty food. You have learn for yourself to not elect shitty people in sham democracy elections.

Live and learn.

The section that follows is other people's writing, which I've edited together. I'm hoping that having the reader "hear" a bunch of different people speaking up on the subject over time will be more effective than hearing just one person "blathering on" about it.

Language has become so coopted that new forms of communication must be invented to effectively convey the information in a way which will undo the programming.

A state run by co-opted political elites

two parties dominate

The elections were never democratic

democracy is fantasy

a corrupt dysfunctional system where cronyism rules the day

something to squint at with wonder, with disgust

the continued erosion of democratic freedoms

leaders use reforms to mask repressive regimes

establish irremovable autocracies

fuelling terrorism

stymie competition from independent and third-party candidates

how much say do you and I really have?

stopped in our tracks

anyone who thinks the two-party system is democracy is insane
