Years ago, I lived and worked in Western Samoa, where the head of state, a royal, has no political power but is an exemplar, deeply loved by most Samoans. This isn’t the fellow I mentioned above. I think that if more royals can be exemplars instead of greedy parasites, like the predatory Whore of Babylon (QEII) is, then maybe there’s a future for the institution of monarchy.
