Tsodilo Hills - Holy Mountain Of The San In Botswana

Our next expedition is going to Botswana in about 3 weeks time.
The highlight destination will be the Tsodilo Hills, at the Northwestern corner of the Okavango delta.
This place has been in use as a rainmaking shrine and generally a very holy place to the iKung San (“Bushmen”) and other communities.
Tsodilo Hills has about 40,000 Rock paintings on an area of roughly 10km2, some of them dating back 20,000 years. That is the highest density of such paintings in Southern Africa.
