In 2011, while he was still working at Harvard and receiving millions of dollars in taxpayer funded grants for his research, Dr. Charles Lieber set up a joint nanoscience research lab between his employer, Harvard University, and Wuhan University in China. All this without Harvard’s knowledge or consent.
In 2011, the Chinese were paying Harvard University’s Dr. Charles Lieber $600,000 a year - under the table! - to show them how to make the new injectable, neuron-mimicking neural probes which he’d developed. Later, those mesh probes would be injected along with vaccines ostensibly created to protect against the weaponized bat virus which was about to be developed - at U.S. taxpayer expense, mind you - by the godless Communist Red Chinese.

Where “understanding the risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence” is Mil-speak for “weaponizing a Bat Virus to kill humans, and then releasing it.” Total funding was $3,748,715. More than $600,000 of that went to the Wuhan lab.
The principal investigator was EcoHealth Alliance president Peter Daszak, who, while he was purportedly working hard with the Chinese, ostensibly trying to understand the risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence, consistently campaigned in public and behind the scenes to convince people that SARS-CoV-2 did not come from the WIV but evolved naturally from animal-to-human transmission.
What’s so beautiful about the Con is that that the Chinese fabricated and delivered the human-killing bat virus for just $600K, and Peter Daszak pocketed most of the remaining $3,148,000. How they must laugh.

On November 4, 2021, nypost.com said “Letter confirms Wuhan lab’s COVID-19 leak was funded by US taxpayers”.
Where the author, Dr. Joel Zinburg, called the creation of the COVID-19 virus a “leak”.
The article goes on to say “A letter from Lawrence Tabak, the National Institute of Health’s Principal Deputy Director, to Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) confirms that the NIH funded research at the WIV during 2018-2019 that manipulated a bat coronavirus called WIV1. Researchers at the institute grafted spike proteins from other coronaviruses onto WIV1 to see if the modified virus was capable of binding in a mouse that possessed the ACE2 receptors found in humans — the same receptor to which SARS-CoV-2 binds. The modified virus reproduced more rapidly and made infected humanized mice sicker than the unmodified virus.”
For grade school children studying the subject in the future, that’s a lot of Mil-speak smoke to avoid plainly stating “The United States’ National Institute of Health gave China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology a lot of money to weaponize a bat virus for use on humans”.

For those keeping score, $4,800,000 is Lieber’s $50,000 “Thousand Talents Program” money per month, times twelve months times, eight years, until he was busted. The words “mystery”, “baffled” and “puzzled” are memes, used, among numerous similar variants, whenever anyone in the wholly-controlled-and-coopted Political, Academic, Scientific and Media establishments wants to lie about, well, basically anything. Two of those many variants are “unexpected” and “odd”. That’s why the article goes on to say "Tabak’s letter asserts that the modified virus becoming more virulent “was an unexpected result” and not “something that the researchers set out to do” — an odd claim, considering that the whole point of manipulating the virus was to investigate things that could make it more virulent.
I must beg the reader to recall that the person making the brazenly false, I mean, er, “odd” claim is Lawrence Tabak, the Principal Security Director of the National Institute of Health.

It’s a clear trail of constant, assiduous work to engineer viruses to kill humans, with the bonus being that the work was funded by tax dollars.

Rand Paul (R-Ky.) pressed Fauci to admit that they constituted gain-of-function research, prompting Fauci’s denial and a statement that “NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
Let me rephrase that for you: in 2016, two years after the Feds gave China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology almost $4 million in U.S. tax dollars to weaponize Chinese bat viruses, so that they’d kill humans, Dr. Anthony Fauci testified to the Senate that the NIH has not ever and does not now fund research to weaponize viruses.

Where first author Michael Pollard used the general “decline in trust” because, as a propagandist, he knows that sixty to seventy percent of readers only read the articles, and his “burying” of the far more impactful statistic in the body text below goes a long way toward “compartmentalizing” awareness of the speed and scope of the decrease in trust in the folks who sent the Chinese the money to modify the bat virus to kill humans.

If only 30% read the articles, what percentage of those do you think read the data in the tables, and then do the math on those numbers?
