Who Manufactures Cell Towers?

I was browsing my collection of pictures the other day and found a very interesting one.
Taken on March 3 2007 on top of a building where a cell tower was.
I approached one of the white drums and took a picture of the sticker.

Maybe the psychics could look into this company a little deeper.

Andrew Communications.
Bought by CommScope on On June 27, 2007 for a couple of billion.

You can find a catalog of their death-products in their site along with other general information.

Some of their offices in the us: Im sure they could use a towerbuster or…thirty.
I couldn’t find a list with the locations of their plants.
They have 12 manufacturing plants all around the globe.

Thanks Antoine! I was trying to figure out what company that red lightning logo belonged to.

Most of the microwave drum transmitters I’ve seen on towers, everywhere, have that logo on them. Its pretty telling that one company has an apparent near-monopoly on this hardware in many parts of the world.

I have a photo from 1980, we installed one of the first satilite receivers on a printing shop. The “paper” was beamed to Calgary and plates where burned so the printing could be done out west. The dish has the red Lighting Bolt but also says TeleSat.

TeleSat is a service provider not a hardware manufacturer, so probably it was also built by Andrew since they own that logo.
