Anonymous - Eponymous?

Hi all,

bumped into this today, regarding the group ‘Anonymous’

Allegedly one of the ‘heads’ or whatever, known on Twitter as ‘The Real Sabu’

has been busted and was working for the Feds since summer.

Excuse for mpore internet clmap-downs?

NOT SO ANONYMOUS

Hector Xavier Monsegur, said to be the leader of LulzSec, worked for the FBI, according to news reports. He was reportedly arrested in Puerto Rico last June, pleaded guilty to hacking charges, and then began working with the FBI – or so the cover story would have it.

Monsequr, aka Sabu, decided what targets to attack and who would participate in the attacks, more than likely at the direction of this FBI handlers. It is believed he participated in the Anonymous effort to hack HBGary, the security firm that works closely with the CIA, NSA, FBI, and the Pentagon.

Sabu’s Lulz Security, commonly abbreviated as LulzSec, claimed responsibility for taking the CIA website offline. It also attacked Fox News, PBS, Sony, and a number of gamer sites. LulzSec claims to have hacked local InfraGard chapter sites, the organization affiliated with the FBI, and released the emails and passwords of a number of users of senate.gov.

LulzSec and Anonymous attacks have provided the government with an excuse to push their cyber security agenda and propaganda campaign, including the proposal for a “kill switch” that would have allowed Obama to shut down the internet (due to public outrage, the proposal was dropped from a House Billin February).

Government and corporate groups cited LulzSec and Anonymous lawlessness last June to push the so-called Protect IP Act (known as PIPA). The introduction of a House version of the bill, dubbed SOPA (Stop Online Privacy Act), was met with public outrage and widespread activism that forced Congress to reconsider the legislation.

In October, Mother Jones revealed that the FBI is notorious for creating supposed terrorist groups from scratch and then framing patsies in order to claim the government is protecting the United States from terrorists and also breathe life into an otherwise moribund war on mostly nonexistent terrorism.

Sabu’s role as an FBI provocateur working inside LulzSec reveals the government is attempting to do the same in order to push its so-called cybersecurity agenda. The establishment is eager to pass a raft of legislation to closely regulate the internet, strip the medium of its anonymity, and close it down as an activism and alternative media tool.

Greetings,

Despite it is being alleged that Anonymous is an FBI False flag Op, and as you say, in the following links a case is made to that effect I feel, however, that this is a Psyop, and an attempt to strip popular support from Anonymous and portray them as “crippled”.

The report that Hyperion posts in the link above, is (apparently) derived from the following link:

Looking at the ‘kids’ that they rolled up, they are the Quintessential Stereotype of the H4x0r. Precisely what the populace would expect. However, my feeling is that the ‘Real’ Anonymous, is organized as a professional, trade-craft compliant, cell structure and is composed of SEASONED, OLDER, NetSec/Red Team/Ethical Hackers gone rogue out of REAL Patriotism and Duty to a higher purpose, than the typical Egoistic motivation of the H4x0r Kids….

Following are comments, from readers in the second link, which rebut the allegations of Anonymous being penetrated. They are saying that LulzSec and Anonymouns are totally different groups (and were actually rivals).

This is a totally ludicrous and incorrect Headline by DM! The LulzSec hacker group is entirely separate from the Anonymous group. Anonymous members are independent of each other – - their is NO single leading light or core organising body – - Anonymous continues to thrive as I suspect DM will shortly find out if it keeps publishing stuff as inaccurate and obviously out-of-touch with reality as this nonsense!

Lulzsec and Anonymous are totally different groups DM. In fact they were rivals, at one point trying to bring each other down. Honestly, your reporting on these matters is totally is shoddy.

What is true, false, likely, or even speculatively possible is so tangled as to be utterly confusing and disheartening… It takes so much effort to unravel the snarled threads….

I still fell like Winston Smith in 1984 and it takes quite a bit of effort to move my mind towards the positive; yet, thankfully, I am still capable of it.

I have great suspicions for both groups, especialy Lulzsec.

One media move caugth my attention last year. The production of the humoristic TV show “CQC” (“Custe o que Custar” – Costs Wathever Costs), from the major TV company “Rede Bandeirantes”, claimed to be in contact with Lulzsec members.

To prove that the contact was really with the show production, the hackers demanded the show presenter Marcelo Tas to say the nonsense password phrases “Quero mandar um abraço para o pessoal do irc, a Dilma falou com eles hoje.” at the end of the show, wich he did.

After that they arranged an interview:

CQC program openning symbology. Not very hard to see. The show is clearly part of shitbird agenda.

Here’s the interview with the supposed brazilian Lulzsec hacker. It’s in portuguese but there are portuguese subtitles at the interview that can be google translated.

More about it (sorry, you will have to google translate it)

I think that at least Lulzsec is part of the cyber security controll agenda. About the Anonymous, I can’t really say anything, but I just have a bad feeling about it.

One thing that makes me wonder is if it’s really possible for a good intentioned hacker group bypass the psychic shitbird surveilance without etheric support, remain anonymous to shitbirds, commit their cyber “crimes”, sucessfully clear the tracks that are exploitable by the corporate legal system, avoid infiltration from shitbird agencies, and finally avoid being jailed from stupid nonsense charges, assassinated/suicided or slowly poisoned.

Not that the shitbirds are realy that powerfull, they aren’t, but I can’t imagine succesfully oposing them without some etheric support and doing acts that are deemed ilegal by the corporate law. Of course, I might be wrong.

I guess tossing orgonite is a lot safer

Hyperion is an avid data miner, in addition to having a demanding professional life and he sends around lots of URL’s like this one, all of which have some essentially important info but some of which are clearly disinformation sites.

I specifically asked him to post this one because it deals with teh subject of government-sponsored and organized hacking. Who isn’t keen to get a view of how so many of us are being surgically hacked, these days?

So, anyone who feels slighted by the material that Hyperion posted ought to direct his displeasure at me, instead [Image Can Not Be Found]

Once in a great while the only sites that have certain important material are disinformation sites.

A good example of that was when the earth axis began to migrate and the lunar orbit became unstable in 2002. The moon orbit became increasingly erratic for a few years, then resumed its previous course, as far as I can tell, but the rotational axis is still moving, evidently toward our region
It was so obvious to me that I posted about both subjects several times but literally nobody else on the web ever mentioned any of that, until very recently, except montalk.com, which is a disinformation site that Don Bradley compared, back then, to a ‘Roach Hotel;’ a pest control product whose catchy ad states, ‘Roaches check in, but they can’t check out.’.

The shifting earth axis has never been mentioned by anyone else until someone interviewed some Inuit fellows in the Arctic, who graphically described how the shifting earth’s axis was affecting them. That interview is on YouTube. I don’t think anyone else has yet talked online about the moon’s erratic orbit.

The moon’s orbit has apparently resumed its former course but several very credible friends, here and abroad, sent me notes describing some bizarre moon effects, like the full moon rising due south and moonlight shining into the north wiindows os someone’s house for the first time. One might expect astrologers to have noticed, at least, that the predicted paths of solar eclipses were inaccurate [Image Can Not Be Found] but maybe most of them prefer to keep their noses in books instead of at least occasionally pointing at the sky.

Thanks for posting it, Hyperion, and my apologies to anyone who felt offended by the URL. It’s a healthy sign that people, here, are sensitive to the issue of disinformation, at least.

As far as I am concerned, I have no strong emotional investment in Anonymous. I do hope that my feelings are correct (and such are purely subjective impression on my part , and possibly totally erroneous) that there might be some substance to Anonymous…. Regardless, it is pretty clear that LulzSec is a Intel/Cabal Farce….

One thing that does bother me, being an IT/Security/Programming Professional, is the use of the word “Hacked”.

The word has morphed through a number of transformations, from originally denoting a “Clever Hack” (in the meaning of the word used in the old MIT programming days) to be an elegant hacking away of needless code, or the combining of functions, such that the memory, and processing, requirements of a program are reduced to the greatest possible extent.

The term Hacked, and Hacker, then transformed, and became miss-used in my opinion, to mean a person that engages in the COMPROMISE of a system, where by the system is now under the CONTROL of an attacker.

I would say that the VAST majority of what we experience, as interference by the Miscreant Agencies as regards our computing devices, are NETWORK DENIAL OF SERVICE attacks, and NOT compromises. Compromising a machine is HARD, (impossible IMHO, if sufficiently TIGHT) if it has no inherent vectors accessible (hidden, or vulnerable, daemons [I.E. long running programs] listening on a tcp, or udp port that can be caused to buffer overflow and yield login privileges) via which an attacker can gain entry. I believe our systems are almost certainly “messed with”, disrupted, network connectivity made to be unreliable, etc. But in almost all cases, I doubt that–institutionally–our computers are compromised and “owned” by the Miscreants….

Of course, it can be claimed that such institutional hackery is facilitated through Microsoft “Backdoors” made available to the NSA and such…. Despite such being possible, even likely, their REGULAR USE would be NOTICED. Even if we do not have source code for Windows operating systems, available to us to inspect, hardware debuggers, attached to running machines, can instrument anything that is happening in memory. Even if encrypted, such streams of encrypted data, in places where there should not be any, would be flagged as suspicious. It is, IMHO, impossible to employ such surreptitious backdoor methods of access without the methods coming to the attention of an ever vigilant, grass roots, army of whitehat coders, and network security experts, who make it a POINT of instrumenting commercial operating systems, and devices (Phones and Pads), for just such chicanery.

In any case, such is my opinion, and I am perfectly capable of contemplating that I am completely wrong, and that the bastards own every system that I touch, regardless of my best efforts. I don’t, however, believe such is the case, or this site, amongst any number of others, would be toast already…. As I often maintain it while working within a Windows7 box, and if my box was owned, they would have the logins for ew….

Hi all,

indeed there is a lot of info out there. I am especially keen on watching the geopolitical sites and sources (eg Stratfor – Jamestown etc) and also a lot of released material, eg from Wikileaks and the recent Anonymous cracking of the Stratfor ‘GIfiles’.

Disinfo comes from many such sources and this is understood, due to the fact that even in ‘inter-agency’ emails and other comm, the ‘Craft’ is used, namely obfuscation, compartmentalisation, baits etc but this is what they do for a living (if you call that living).

A critical mind is always a good guide, in harvesting and compiling snippets of data. At times gems surface, such as the classified comm and email of the Greek ‘gov’ and ‘Statistical’ Agencies with the IMF, providing direct proof of collusion in bloating the Greek odious debt.

We are swimming into a sea of digital data however we have a fantastic tool that connects us to the ‘field – grid’, so keep your hearts open and a fearless mind.

We are living in interesting times indeed:-)

Cheers
