I was researching this field a bit a couple of years ago. I never really got my hands on a book with instructions for making the devices. I see now though that the recommended Borderland Science site has some books that discuss building of devices. So good luck and hope you find something good there!
There are a lot of books on the subject of Radionics generally. David V. Tansley is one author. Some of his books seem somewhat advanced though. I did however see some short e-books with plans for devices. Though I fail to recall the exact websites where I found them. I think Lulu.com might have been one.
I for my part did my most researching on various websites. There’s a lot of websites, including forums. And believe me, not everybody out there who are into these subtle energy techniques are what you would call aligned to the same type of purposes like myself. Some even are into predatory use of devices.
One thing I decided to start doing during this time, was to disable audio on my computer while surfing on unknown websites. I think its a good idea considering the many disinfo sites on the Internet. There is the risk of subliminals as well as perhaps some “silent sound” technology. However a positive aspect on this is that if someone can apply these technologies, then the reverse must be possible. Someday somebody might just provide an electronics device and/or software that is able to detect and decipher for example “silent sound”.
Anyway, I’m thinking simplicity might be the best route, after all, when building one’s first radionics box. It might just turn out to be powerful enough to help tune into the subtle energies…

Check out the two pictures he posted at the end of the post. It doesn’t seem that difficult to build. One could add TBs and/or crystals into the box as well if one wants.
Back them, after researching a lot of sites, I bought myself wooden boxes, potentiometers, leads, copper sheets and some other stuff. Turned out I never got around to building a device.
Then eventually I simply bought myself a device, which I’m very happy I did. (Let me know if you ever want a recommendation of a device to purchase).
