Just now I was doing my work when the conversation between my coleagues caught my attention. They were talking about some android cell phone applet. Curiously, I asked them what was it [my thoughts are shown between brackets]:
Buddy: It’s an facebook applet that shows to your friends where you are whenever you “check in” ( Foursquare is the name). Them you gain points and rank among your friends
Me (ironic): So, you are tracked 24 hours a day [ C’mon, you can’t be so naive ?
Buddy: No, you’re tracked only when you want, when you “check in” bla bla bla… [Image Can Not Be Found] [This is what you think buddy nevermind…]
Jeezz, you gain points for being stupid and is rewarded being profiled by the CIA. Being tracked is now cool! The mind reward system is realy fucked up. And this were supposed to be educated people.
Ironically they are talking about individual privacy now. I’m sillent minding my own busines as I write this.
