What the hell is this?!
Looks haarpy – Anyway, I feel this is big.
Wanted to add that after I gifted a smaller, but similar-looking array in Germany, an aircraft came by saying hello…
First it looked like an UFO, then it was a helicopter – quite weird.
Hi,
i sent this pic to a friend technician and this is what he had to say about it:
¨for the looks it seems to be an array of directive antennas of Yagi type with 4 elements. All of them are in phase forming a block that increases the gain of the overall compound stretching its radiation lobule. They are perpendicular to the floor and thus radiation is directed from under to the top according to the pic. Comparing to the dimensions of the fence it appears, at birds eye, to have a frequency of about 100Mhz but this data could be gathered more precisely if we had the physical dimension of the ¨sticks¨. It would allow for better calculation of the frequency.¨
¨I am not sure what practical use would have to send at the skies that frequency, direction and possible density of power. It may be that some of it goes thru the ionosphere, penetrates it and dissipates while the rest of that would flow down again over a very large area in a manner similar to a water hose pointing right up and the water cascading down except that the water on top would have some piece of metal which would extend the flow of the water dispersing it sideways¨
Sounds like not your regular tv antenna ;-d
