I purchased a used broken willet pellet burner last fall, replaced the electronic board with a simple ceiling fan control for the combustion fan and a re-cycle timer for the auger. This was nice for my body on cold nights. Come spring I purchased a pellet mill and mounted it on the newholland grain mill so I can mill straw and pass it through the press and make my own pellets. Then I fabricated my own pellet burner that feeds it’s exahaust into the massey 444 tractor that runs the mill. It runs just fine on smoke from the burner. So I have a tractor running on smoke from burning pellets that’s pto connected to the mill that is making more pellets. The next logical step was to drag the old square bailer out and get it serviced and useable. I was over eager with youthful exeberance and injured my thumb in the flywheel. It’s 15 days now and healed nice but I sure learned a farm saftey lesson.
