It was suggested I use man made ruby to get rid of parasites and time wasters etc etc.
Now from all the chatroom quests we kept on coming upon the ‘parasites’ and guys in robes either wearing them or using them to seal stuff shut.
I am admittedly clueless on the subject of rocks and gems etc. Anyone care to chip in with their first hand knowledge please.

My personal opinion is that most of the times, the “tools” or “weapons”, if you like, that every side uses, are usually the same. The difference is mainly found in the way the tools (such as crystals) are being used.
{Of course orgonites are an exception to the above “rule” because they cannot be negatively programmed due to their nature (construction).}
Ruby is an interesting stone that can be very helpful when you want to create a protection shield, especially from psychic attacks. So, I suppose it is true what you have been told.
As for the parasites etc. they usually aim in the lower energies of the astral plane and that might be the reason why they prefer ruby. Because ruby appears to be very effective in that particular plane.
I think the better way to find out if ruby works for you, is to experiment a little bit with this elegant yet robust crystal.
The Ruby ring that Don mentioned in a recent post, that a high level Masonic defector had shown him as proof of their previous high office in that organization, came to my mind, here.

Just as, for example, the simple hexagram is the very Seal of Solomon found throughout the Black Magic grimoires (ill intended ‘bad’ tech, if you will) but is also used for powerful good in the 108 and 118 (well-intended ‘good’ tech).

Sorry Mark, I didn’t notice we were talking only about synthetic ruby. I have only used natural ruby -along with emerald, diamond, gold and a special quartz found in a Greek cave- in an orgonite pendant made for prosperity. And it worked!
Generally, I have never used synthetic crystals but I assume they are nothing like the real thing.
I was told by someone the synthetic ones are way cheaper and more refined. I’m not very energy sensitive so this is all just preparatory homework.

Mark, I wouldn’t count on their effectiveness though. I remember once, a friend of mine had bought some cheap Chinese quartz from eBay and he brought me the crystals to check them out (since I am sensitive enough). I must say that the crystals were very clear and everything but when I hold them in my hand, they were like a dead thing… I made the conclusion that they might be synthetic.
Chemically speaking, synthetics are supposed to be refined but what makes a crystal alive is the earth energy it absorbs through the years of its formation. The information “trapped” into the crystal has to do with many factors other than its chemical composition. The crystal in its final stage is so much more than particles put together.
Nevertheless, I always encourage people to experiment, so I will be looking forward for your results.
