Last week Don Carol and I went around town a little bit, got a bite to eat and went to a grocery store.
I sat outside for about 15 minutes as Don and Carol went into the grocery store. I was people watching and enjoying the sunlight.
I was feeling about ready to go in the store and find them and finish walking around the store with them.
Outside, I’d been people watching and normal folks were coming and going from the store. It was beautiful outside.
I figured the days of the Crofts being followed around by Feds might be over… but then I saw a man come walking toward the store.
I said to myself- yep, there’s the tail. He was obviously an Airforce or military man and I just knew he was their tail.
So I let the man walk into the store then I got up and followed him into the store.
I figured he’d make short work for me while I was looking for Don and Carol in the supermarket. As soon as I came into the store, the man stopped.
He took about 30 seconds looking at a corn chip display and then grabbed 2 bags of chips. I stood and waited for him to go on his way so I could follow him to the Crofts LOL
He took notice of me and turned and went walking further into the store- so I followed him, letting my body language tell him that he was made and that I in fact Was following him. I stayed about 15 feet behind him for about 50 feet- the man saw Carol and turned around and walked right to me.
The man had walked me right to Don and Carol and then turned around with me following him.
I stood with Carol and Don and mentioned it as the man turned around again and went down an isle which allowed him to keep watching the Crofts and myself.
Carol and I took notice of him taking notice of us and smiled.
That was cute.
Next time you’re wondering where Don and Carol are in a store- just follow the Fed- he’ll lead you right to the Crofts.
