Was thinking about how both water and electricity / radio / water is modified by orgonite and then remembered I had some power adapters for various electrical tech that had these clip on or wrapped magnet things. Is orgonite a relative?
If I’m reading you right, what those things are, are “filters” to prevent higher frequency conducted emissions from both entering the device from the AC mains as well as (and in most cases the real purpose) from any such radiation generated by the electronic device from getting out and making its way down the power cord.
The reason for this is that most larger countries have RF emissions standards that all electronic equipment must meet these days (been in place for at least 15+ years) to keep the background RF “noise” down which was starting to get out of hand back when the regulations went into effect.
Those “things” are most likely just pressed “donuts” (toroids) or sometimes “S” shaped pieces of a magnetic material that exhibits a high loss at the frequencies of interest (usually a “ferrite” which is a ferromagnetic ceramic material – magnetite mixed with clay which is then made into the desired shapes and fired in a kiln). Run the power cord or power supply cord to the device through it or wrap it around it a couple times and you’re good to go. Sometimes You’ll see something molded into a power or access cord for a device, usually close to the device itself. Same thing for the same reasons.
If you look carefully at any device with something like this inline, you’ll most likely find an “FCC ID” number on a sticker (for products approved for use/sale in the US) or something similar from whatever regulatory agency exists in the country you live which indicates the device has been tested and shown to meet the radiated (through the air) and conducted (down the “wires”) RF emissions limits. The limits as put forth in the requirements are not always easy to meet. The requirements are quite stringent.
These days, if its anything electronic, there’s about a 99+% chance it generates frequencies high enough that the device is required to meet the regulatory requirements.
Unfortunately, if I’m not misunderstanding what you’re talking about, this is not related in any way to orgonite. Its simply a means of passing the regulatory requirements.
